Hasmik is the only person I fully trust with my brows. She works cleanly and precisely, the end result being a lovely natural look. I don't have the best brows, they are rather sparse and short, but Hasmik does her magic on them nonetheless. Just a note that unlike at Nail Forum, this place is cash only. Very sketchy company. Advertised a product online, complete with a picture and description. It's a discontinued product and hard to find online, so when I find it, I buy more than one tube. The packaging of the product I ordered is pink and the product is a creme. What they sent me was packaged in black, and a gel. Asked to return it with prepaid shipping on them. They refused. They then changed their story three times. Clearly a bait and switch. Provided pictures of what they had on their website, and how the product they sent me differed. Asked three different ways to do the right thing and they refused. Told them I'd be writing a review and here it is. There are lots of reputable places to buy beauty products. After going through this with them, I did find an online store which carried the product I had ordered from GP Beauty, and will receive it in a couple days. GP Beauty is not reputable. read more

I purchased a Bio Ionic GoldPro Flat iron for $170 + tax. That sounded like a lot of money since I am not an instagram model and have no plans to be one. This is hands down one of THE BEST beauty supply shops around. I have been coming to this location for almost a decade. They always carry the HIGHEST quality products with a broad selection. Beyond the store itself I have ALWAYS encountered phenomenal customer service here. The staff are always friendly and extremely helpful. I am so lucky to always happen to see Collette or Nelly or both associates together help me. Not only are they incredibly nice, pleasant and welcoming but they are knowledgeable about their products and always give the best advice. It's too bad for this business. An establish beauty supply store in glendale, after shopping here for the first time in years, I understand why they have a 3 star rating. Yelpers have the accurate rating for this place. They get 2 stars from me today 1 for convenient location 1 for having the supply I needed. But the overall store is sadly rundown and after shopping here today I understood why. Prior to shopping I asked the cashier if they offer discounts for professionals. She said yes and began putting my information in. I showed her proof of my license and she said that I would need to bring a copy of my license next time. She said she put me in the system which made me believe that I would be honored the discount. I proceeded my shopping and purchased more than I needed simply because she made me believe I was getting my professional discount. At the end of checkout she did not. I noticed this after I finished paying then checked my receipt. I want the store owner to understand this type of customer service is very misleading. This does not make me want to shop or support a store like this. As a beauty salon owner my advice to this owner is to revamp the business. They need a more presentable displays and supplies. BEWARE OF THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES!!! I've been a customer for over 20 years. The selection has diminished a great deal and prices are on the high end compared to other stores but I know they carry what I want so I decided to stick with them. The disturbing part of my visit here today is that they refused to accept a valid store coupon with no reason given. I've had an issue with this in the past but the manager at the time told me they had to accept it since it was a valid coupon and had no expiration date. I will be taking my business elsewhere and letting all my friends know about the shady practices. Is this even legal? I guess that will be a question the Better Business Bureau can answer. read more

This place used to be ok. They had stock, nice staff who were helpful, the owner was around and made suggestions, and I liked shopping there. It has gone downhill, and is now horrible, horrible, horrible. The staff are incredibly rude, unhelpful, clearly hate working there, and there is almost no inventory. The testers are broken so you are unable to see the colors of the products. The inventory is so low that you have no choices between brands. There are almost no mirrors in the store, and the salespeople don't care to assist and are unwilling to provide the least bit of help. I drove to La Cresenta to Han's, had lots of help, lots of choices, and a pleasant experience. I will never return to GlenPro. read more

yes i shop for stuff at a Beauty Supply place for lack of a better name. But where else to buy face stuff, shampoo, combs, hair conditioner, etc?? The days of using bar soap on my hair or buying products from the corner market are long long over for both men and women. They have good prices here and they are very close to where i live. I also have a better than 20 year business relationship with this place. I have noticed that a few years ago they changed ownership hands and the service seemed to go up. I like that when i enter the shop i get glommed upon pretty quickly. In other words service is fast and personal. The service people are young (of course who else would work here?) and probably used to only dealing with women and therefore when i enter they probably wonder: "why is this dude in here.?" A couple of years ago i asked one of the sales people about the lack of men in the store and was told that men usually buy in the evenings and on the weekends. Hey we are in a world now in which Dudes spend as much money on these types of products than do women. Now of course we have Amazon with which to compare Glenpro's pricing. And pretty much on a regular basis Glenpro comes out the winner. They offer special services here which i have never availed myself: eyebrow, make up, hair services. We've been buying hair products from them for years now - salon quality hair dye (before I went to a professional), hairspray, conditioner, shampoo, hair oil, and at one point skincare. They carry brands that a lot of places don't like Kenra, Enjoy, and Suavecita. I usually walk in knowing what I want, but they're always happy to help if I'm not sure what I'm looking for (their suggestion to mix two manic panic colors for a set of extensions to match my haircolor at the time was spot on - I'm still amazed by how well the end result matched the sherbert my colorist did for me). They also have a solid variety of fake eyelashes. Who doesn't love a good fake eyelash? The taller the lashes, the closer to God, right? read more

This used to be a fun beauty supply shop! I don't know if it's new owners or what but the last few times I have been in this store they followed us around and harassed us until we gave up and left. Maybe it's just for Armenians who speak the language. I had several items in my hands and the sales lady was coming unglued because I was walking around with them. I have been shopping here for years and I told her she even waited on me in the past. She said she was watching us because she didn't want anything stolen. So this place is shit! My sister and mom went in here yesterday and perched over 200$ worth of hair extensions for my sisters 40th birthday. They told her she would be able to dye the hair to match her hair. We took it home and dyed it over 3 times and unfortunately all the blonde streaks in the extensions did not take the hair dye. The hair is fake!!! Although it says 100% real!! We went back to the store to see if we could exchange them at least and NOPE 115$ down the drain! Happy 40th to my sister! So depressing! read more

Avoid this place at all costs. I'm honestly not sure how they even maintain a high star average as I suspect the reviews may be bs and not actual customer ones, since every time Ive had to go in here to purchase something Ive been the ONLY customer in the store, literally almost every time. The only perk this place has is that they are in a central location of Glendale and open on weekends, otherwise customer service is clearly not a priority for them. I made a mistake and purchased the wrong volume level of peroxide. At checkout when the tall girl at the front asked me if I wanted a receipt I opted not to get one as I always purchase the same products and didn't think I would make a mistake this time. When I got home and realized the volume level was wrong, I called the store (maybe not even 15 min after the purchase was made) and the rude sales clerk said that there was nothing she could do about the issue, all I wanted to do was go back to the store and get the same brand in the lower level, the most basic swap there is. Not an exchange for another product, not a refund, literally just the same product in a lower volume level. Maybe next time tell the customer when you ask if they want a receipt that there is literally nothing they can do if they make a minor error like I did. The clerk who was also the one who did the transaction assured me that she would not be able to do anything as she supposedly wouldn't remember me because "20 people may have walked in within the 15 minute timeframe that I left the store and realized my error." I was the ONLY person in the store, I even told her "you were the one that helped me, the tall girl with the black sweater," and she continued to refuse. Unless you have dementia or some kind of neurological issue theres no way you wouldn't be able to attend to a customer who was the only one in the store at the time of purchase and called within 15 minutes of purchase. They are awful and clearly the management is just as ignorant as the employees they hire. Take your business elsewhere, as I always will moving forward. There is a reason why there is never any customers in this store! Also they markup their prices at least 15-20% higher than most other local Beauty Supply stores in the area. read more
