Seems like a great spot for regulars/locals! As visitors, wasn't the most welcoming atmosphere. Cold brew was a bit watery, and rose latte was ok! A nice place for a quaint/quick caffeine stop :)

This old town of Bellingham is, let's just say a very interesting place. Parking wasn't a problem with bikes but if you have a car it may be a challenge. The coffeehouse has some great large bakery items. Not sure if the muffin was baked this week but overall it filled a void and held me over for our ride through Chuckanut. Little dry, iced mocha was good. I will give the worker kudos when she asked me if she could put all the items in one box instead of separately. #savetheenviroment. Two other muffins, we ordered; chocolate and lemon lavender was meh, nothing great.

Ideal location spot with lots of different seating (couch, raised table with chairs, large group table, etc). Place has great vibes and the price is good, especially compared to competition. I got an iced caramel latte and a slice of Bellingham Fog Blueberry and Earl Grey Cake- a very generously sized cake slice for only $6 the two workers were very kind and efficient, getting out drinks very quickly Taste, service, vibes- 10/10, definitely coming back

Love this place. Always so relaxing and the perfect place to read. Their tea, coffee, and snacks are fantastic!

I had a craving for some pastries and this place definitely hit the spot. I ordered their cinnamon rolls which are massive, (barely fit in the little to- go box) and their mocha cake. Both incredible delicious and definitely will be getting them again in the near future

I love this place. I was brought here today for my birthday and the decor/layout is so comfortable and calming, their raspberry cake is AMAZING, and the customer service is top tier as well. I'll be coming back here regularly

Chai Tea - but just milk

Oh man :( We decided to spend each of our last $5, after paying all our bills and the atrocious bham rent, on these little drinks as a treat. But it was so sad, my chai was just a steamed milk with no flavoring and had little pulp like inedible seeds and the mocha was just burnt espresso with one drop of chocolate. We were so disappointed, getting a drink that ends up having no flavor or burnt was such a downer, especially with knowing that was my last drink until my next paycheck..

Great service and good coffee. I had a single 8oz mocha so I didn't get to taste the coffee too much, but the chocolate was not overwhelming and it was a good temp. The pastry case looked amazing but we had just come from breakfast! The staff were all masked and so, so nice!

This place is great! Good coffee. Fun options. Good lil pastries and good non caffeinated options that lots of places forget to think about. I love the Lavender Italian soda and they had this crazy iced tea for a little while that tasted like girl scout cookies. That was wild. The baristas are nothing but kind and helpful. They are always happy and fast to give personal recommendations which I personally love. It's smack dab in the middle of downtown so the location is great. They have art up on the walls which is always fun too look at if you get bored just waiting. I love this place but there's not a ton for me to say. Just a solid downtown coffeeshop.

Excellent staff, beautiful environment, perfect location. My only complaint is they need to make their drip coffee stronger.

Oh man was it amazing, got the cardamom coffee to go with a piece of Helva for my little and the Chocolate baklava for me and hubs to split! The server was so nice and made sure to inform me the right way to just sip the coffee as it's not like regular drinking coffee- he asked I preferred sweet coffee and I said yes so he added a little sugar and it was just beautiful! My little demolished the Helva and hubs and I enjoyed our chocolate baklava at the end of a very fun but busy day! The shop it's self is small but beautiful as were the other customers enjoying their coffee made room for my little at the counter to look at all the treats in the case! Can't wait to head back and try some of the other yummy treats they have to offer!

How I heard of this place: On a visit to Bellingham a couple of years ago, my sister and mother…read moretold us about this new Turkish cafe downtown with sweet reminiscences of our visits to Turkey. We simply had to give it a try. And continue coming back. Type of cuisine: Turkish fare - from simit and borek, to cardamom or pistachio infused Turkish coffee, apricot and apple teas, baklava and lokum. We have always loved the foods, mostly imported directly from Turkey. Ambiance: Sweet and cozy, the space is full of beautiful Turkish art/craft - from lighting to seating, from merchandise to the tasty treats served, we love our bay window benches and small, tiled tables that barely hold everything we order. The brother-owners are always wreathed in smiles and humble, grateful service. The music is soft, but always a surprise - sometimes Turkish, sometimes rock, sometimes jazzy, always fun and unobtrusive. We also love the huge barrel "tables" used as outdoor seating under a covered "patio". What I ordered: I was sad to hear that they no longer make/serve their refreshing and lovely apricot tea, so I chose a sweet cardamom coffee. My sister each chose a turkish coffee and pistachio coffee. A hot chocolate for my husband and two apple teas for the children. We ordered one of each selection of baklava available - pistachio, walnut, chocolate pistachio, halva and another walnut treat. Not to mention peach and blackberry lokum. We also ordered a potato & cheese sandwich; they ran out of the bread so substituted potato borek topped with cheese for our savory snack. What I loved: Always the service; quiet, humble, spot on. The coffee is truly magnificent and fully takes you back to Turkey. The baklava is sweet and soaked in honey, just like the cafes in Istanbul, and the beautiful lighting mesmerizes each of us every time. Why I loved it: It's always a little escape entering the doors of Ashuri, and like a mini vacation in a home away from home. Cost: Average

Workers are always friendly and happy to talk about cats and are always cleaning and helping facilitate adoptions. Between each 45 minute session, they clean everything-- I've had a friend with mild cat allergy go and not be too affected. I've gone a few times for the long 3 hour sessions and had an absolute blast getting things done (if you sit still, the curious cats will approach you and sit in your lap while you work!) Food is all prepackaged and ordered in bottles in addition to the entry for a 45 minute stay. Place is lovely and well-lit and a great way to get some time with some adorable kitties!

There's also a bar for both alcoholic or non alcoholic drinks. We booked our appointment online, and we had to reschedule it a few times, and they have pretty accommodating for our poor scheduling. I saw a couple walk ins while I was waiting, but there wasn't any slots left at our time, but they were offered an hour later. For around $15 you get 45 mins with the cats. The cats, there were so sweet and peaceful. Seems like they were very accustomed to people petting them. There were a few playful ones. The place is so relaxed and big enough where you can roam and pet different cats and have a space of your own. The Seattle location is tiny compared to this one.

The perfect pairing! Type of cuisine: Espresso and other beverages, a small selection of pastries, including bagels, cinnamon rolls and the like, and access to the entire Daisy Cafe menu. Ambiance: A two-in-one spot, where The Daisy Cafe takes one side, bright and complete with kitchen and bar seating; and The Union Coffee Shop takes up the other side, dark and complete with mega barista station. Both sides offer table-chair set-ups for patrons wishing to dine in. The atmosphere is casual, laid back, clean and very Bellingham - cozy, artsy, quaint and friendly. Despite being downtown, the Coffee Shop feels like a neighborhood spot, where you can walk in and know your barista and the faces seated about. What I ordered: For our children, two 12-ounce caramel sauce steamers, a 12-ounce mocha for me and a 16-ounce matcha latte for my husband. What I loved: The coffee is strong and robust, but smooth and creamy, the chocolate dark and bitter, with a generous topping of sweet whipped cream. Why I loved it: It's a great spot, the barista quiet and expert at his trade, and our beverages paired well with our Daisy Cafe fare. Cost: Average
