Got here early for the Bellingham location. Cute but small cafe dining area. Ordered the "croissant French toast" which is really a cinnamon roll in the French Toast style but baked. Came with fresh berries and whip. Ordered sausage and egg on the side with a 16 oz latte. Everything was excellent, a little more "done" than I would have liked but it seemed to work somehow. Will 100% be back. My partner's potatoes were so good I kept stealing them off his plate! Parking in lot across the street or street parking.

Tasty vibrant flavors! The cinnamon roll was killer and both meals delicious and filling. I hate to leave hungry. Server was friendly and helpful w menue suggestions.

    Cappuccino w/breve

I ordered the Bakery "Best Benedict" and it lived up to the boast. All breads and pastries are made from scratch and the English muffin was phenomenal. (In most places the muffin is an afterthought.) My cappuccino with breve was expertly made and had that wonderfully sweet taste from the steamed breve, not bitter. The service was polite and knowledgeable of their menu, naturally boastful of their made from scratch offerings. The pastries are phenomenal! Check out the morning bun pic...more than half eaten, yes, but now you can see the delicious orange bits on the inside that cause the burst of smooth citrus flavor. Excellent paired with my coffee! The ambiance is chill and divey. All are welcome. I will be back to this place.

Super cute place! College daughter had the regular eggs Benedict and I had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. To die for! So good. Staff was super friendly and we loved the artwork inside. Afterwards we walked around the Fairhaven historic district of Bellingham, and went into a couple shops. Great afternoon.

This review is for the Orange Hazelnut Twist ($4) I picked up from their farmers market booth at the Ballard Farmers market on Sundays! Didn't get the orange at all and there was only a light sprinkling of nuts but overall it was a nice, flaky pastry at a good price. Maybe better toasted? Anyways - they also had other items like scones and cookies and such.

fresh fruit crepe. Worst I ever had.
Burned crepe. Tasteless fruit. A full zero stars

Great place to have a nice breakfast on a Friday morning! First off, I appreciate that they still ask for proof of vaccination! Way to play it safe! Now that's out of the way, I'm a big Eggs Benedict person so I have to try that first! So I ordered that over some savory waffles, a first for me! I've had a lot of bennys in my life but this is a unique way to present your dish. Every company was delicious. From the ham and the perfectly poached eggs. It all worked well for me. My only constructive criticism would be the homemade Hollandaise sauce. It was screaming for some lemon juice. But the consistency is correct. You already won me over with the fact that it's homemade! I will definitely come back here on my next visit!

Came in to do some reading with my husband on our little getaway and opted to share a ham & gouda croissant with a fruit galette, which were very good. The pastry case in the front definitely called our name and although the menu items looked good, the pastry items were too good to pass up. Decent coffee and wonderful service! I ordered a simple drip and our waiter was joyfully refilling my cup. My husband ordered the Moliere - their famous Mount Bakery mocha made with Belgian Chocolate Ganache and topped with whipped cream. I was expected a more decadent drink, but it was more of the dark chocolate flavoring and not very sweet. It was well made, but not quite what I anticipated. The cafe is making great efforts to stay safe with checking vaccination cards for guests dining inside and covered eating for folks preferring to eat outside.

Well, sitting at a table waiting for over 40 min for breakfast is pretty disappointing. It's understandable if they're under staffed but it's only going to lead to their ultimate demise. Just not worth it. Yes

We came in this past Sunday for some brunch to their downtown location. We were able to get a seat right away as there was a lot of snow outside. The waitresses that served us were delightful-they had great recommendations. We started off with some coffee and a seasonal cocktail, the Misanthrope. While we waited, I enjoyed looking at their fabulous art! I ordered the Blackstone Benny-applewood bacon, spinach, and black pepper upon some freshly made focaccia, complete with roasted potatoes. Their eggs are perfect, the hollandaise was light, and the focaccia was freshly made. This was mouthwateringly good and the perfect portion size-I was able to finish my plate without feeling too full. They have plenty of wonderful pastries and goods to go as well! Mt. Bakery Cafe has been a Bellingham favorite for breakfast and brunch. It is a must do and see for anyone who wants to enjoy a Bellingham classic. We can't wait to come back for more.

It may be difficult to accommodate large groups, but if you come early, it should be okay. We were seated by the bar and we had a full view of the kitchen. It was nice to watch them make the crepes and prepare all the food. They have a few appetizers, savoury and sweet crepes, and quite a large cider selection. We both tried different ciders. I liked the scenic road razz. It was light and fruity. Tartare de boeuf- wagyu tartare, served with a beet puree and buckwheat crackers. It was tasty. I really liked the crunch on the buckwheat crackers. The tartare was seasoned well. Jambon blanc- savoury crepe with Parisian ham, cider onion jam, gruyere, and egg. Simple, but quality ingredients. It may look small, but it was quite filling. I enjoyed the buckwheat crepes as it added more flavour to the crepes. I do wish there was a bit more onions in this one. Overall, was very savoury and delicious. Saucisse- beef and pork sausage, bacon, red pepper relish, gruyere, and mustard aioli. This one was really filling. The sausage was quite large, flavourful, and not dry at all. The red pepper relish added some sweetness and brightness to the dish. The crepe went well with the mustard. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. It was nice to go to somewhere for brunch that was more unique than just the usual items for brunch. Service was great, especially since it was so busy. They were still attentive and quick. Prices are pretty good, considering portion and quality of ingredients. I'd recommend checking this place out. I know I'll be back to try their sweet crepes.

Truthfully, I go for their crepes, but my friends are always bey happy with their other menu choices too. The staff is friendly and we never feel rush to eat & leave. This isn't a place you need to really dress up to feel you fit in. However, you also could if the mood suits you & still not feel out of place. Truly, I am happy that they even have tables on the main level that accommodate those with mobility aids. However, that being said, I am struggling to recall if there would be a easy enough way for a wheelchair or even a walker to make it to the main door. I'll have to remember to focus on that long enough before my next crepe eating bliss hits. As Cowichan Bay is a popular area to stop for meals, do plan to go in advance for parking. As even if there are a few spots for the restaurant, there isn't enough space to accommodate the full restaurant. If you are able to find a spot at the restaurant or are double parking at the restaurant (which is apparently allowed), it is good to let the server know what vehicle is yours. Beyond more than mention "I've parked my vehicle here", so a server can notify you if people need to be let out of the space if they're leaving before you're done. If you don''re not lucky enough to grab a parking spot right at the restaurant, you might have to go far up the road (sometimes almost to the hotel) or down the road (towards the parking area by the pubic washrooms) to reach any parking options. Definitely try it out if you are looking fit an option in Cowichan Bay. I know I'm looking forward to many more future happy crepe eating moments here with friends.

It was a huge menu covering both sweet and savory crepes. I was very much taken with the huge tubs of Nutella lining the shelves and was determined to have something with Nutella. I finally decided on a simple Nutella, peanut butter and French vanilla ice cream crepe. The crepe was done to perfection, with crisp edges and softer center.
