If I could give more stars I would. This is a great coffee house. They have such a relaxing atmosphere and the staff is amazing. They're even kid friendly which is the best accommodation I could ask for when I need my caffeine fix. They have so many varieties of drinks its hard to choose what to get. My kids love the Smoothies and GIANT rice krispie treats. They host local musicians, open mic nights, and help out charities in the area. The first time we walked into Aversboro Coffee we were made to feel as if we were family. We were in town to find a place to live, and they recognized us the next time we were in and asked about the move. The atmosphere isn't a traditional collegey coffee shop, but I know I can always go in there and get a warm welcome and a great coffee. Whether it is a good thing or not, Aversboro Coffee is right around the corner from my house and it's pretty easy to stop in and enjoy a scrumptious cup of my favorite flavor, Big Ben. A delicious blend of coffee with caramel and toffee. Were I a little better off financially, that would be my morning drink every single day! The staff are so nice there. They often give suggestions for something that I might want to try, knowing my love of toffee! The place is very clean and smell so good, a mix of freshly brewed coffee and warm muffins. Speaking of which, the muffins are wonderful too. I consider Aversboro Coffee my 'treat' place, where I can go and treat myself to something yummy every so often, and I enjoy every bit of it! read more

I signed up with yelp just to sing the praises of my favorite little coffee shop! It's locally/family owned, great atmosphere and the coffee is amazing. I love the variety of drinks and the staff is always happy to give you fresh shots in your latte if that's your preference (I like the cold brew but that's just me). I used to live right behind the shop, it's a decent drive for me but I still stop in a couple times a week to get my fix. I cannot recommend Aversboro Coffee enough, there are other local shops in the area, but no one else come close when it comes to quality and service! read more

I am a big fan....there is always a line, because it is that good. The employees are helpful and will custom make anything for you. I am not into the frozen coffee's or coffee over ice....I am a traditionalist, but the coffee is always hot and fresh and worth the wait. My fiance and I decided to check this place out one day, and we're so glad we did! He ordered a Frozen Chai Latte and absolutely loved it. I ordered an Iced German Chocolate Latte. The guy working there was great. He talked to me about the different flavors, and then asked me if I preferred a milder or stronger coffee taste. I said I liked my coffee strong, so he made it with hot espresso shots. It's awesome that they have different options for different tastes. He made me an amazing drink, and I was back later that week for the same thing. I highly recommend it! read more

If you love a good coffee, Aversboro Coffee in Garner is the place to go. The guys that run the place make you feel so welcomed, as if you are an old friend - extremely friendly. They make the coffee perfect and they offer several other drinks too, typical coffee shop fare...chai, smoothies, italian sodas. The only thing that stinks is their hours, open until 8pm and closed on Sundays. Free wifi too. read more

Great local place with friendly people. They don't mind when I bring one of my dogs and sit outside, and actually come put out fresh water and say hi to my pup. I wasn't sure what to order the first time I went, as they have a variety of their own creations, so I let the barista choose. I've been ordering the Snow Dream, with half sweetness ever since. There is no more friendly a coffee shop than Aversboro. Why anyone would go to a big box coffee shop and not take advantage of a neighborhood coffee shop like Aversboro is beyond me. My favorite specialty drink is the Snow Dream. The staff seems to change frequently, but the owners are great people who care about their customers and about the community. Since moving, I've only been back to Aversboro Coffee once in the last six months. There used to be an employee who worked there who would see my car pull up and she'd have my drink ready by the time I got to the register. I believe her name was Laura, and I'm sorry that she's no longer there. You don't get that kind of service at Starbucks, and you won't find a better neighborhood coffee shop than Aversboro.
