My wife and I needed to get a special custom ring made for her wedding band. We wanted to use diamonds from her mother and her grandmother. She knew exactly how she wanted it. The only problem was that we were figuring all this out, a month before the wedding.We both live in Seattle, WA (we got married in Altadena) and we went to about 3 different shops in seattle and 2 in Pasadena, each shop we went to was to much money and yes, they couldn't have it done by October 12th, 2018. We were so bummed, heartbroken that she couldn't wear it on our wedding day. We came to the conclusion that we would have it made after the wedding or for our 1 year anniversary. We then went to Avianti, they were so incredibly kind to us. We drew out what we wanted, showed him the diamonds, and told him we needed some extra diamonds as well to make the band look complete. I went to Avianti since it had good reviews. he explained to me that the setting is not structurely sound and I should change the setting. I didnt listen. Months later and my diamond fell out of my ring! Luckily, my husband found it! we took it back to this local jewler and he added horizontal supports (there originally was only the 4 vertical prongs) so there's no chance of it happening again. I definitely should have heeded his advice the first time around. They are so very kind and do excellent work. He re-dipped my white gold band and filled a crack that had already formed.
