Pizza did not come as ordered -oops they forgot to add prosciutto. It was partially raw when it arrived. To avoid conflict with staff, we took our pizza to go ($40 with tip) and spent another $14 at HEB on cheese, since there was barely any cheese on it. The staff was so half ass, you sense there was no pride in making a meal or respect for what we spent at the restaurant ($52 altogether). The Caesar salad is basically lettuce with a measured dose of grated Parmesan and dressing in a cup and nothing more. No soul. And undercooked. Manager, I want my money back. First off the pizza is great and love the beer selection BUT after ordering I used the restroom and there was a crew member that used the restroom at the same time and didn't wash their hands. I brought this up in comments about how they were doing when I had my receipt emailed. It seems whoever answered back did a half ass apology by saying maybe they were washing their hands in a different sink or were intending to wear gloves. Happy hour is until 6:00 pm and is $1 off all beers. Sadly, nothing off pizzas. Pizzas: Where do I start?? Long list of specialty pizzas and so hard to make a choice! We decided on two small (9") pizzas to share. We selected the Pepperoni & Basil and The Lazy Goat. We loved them equally and would order both again. Crust was a perfect thin texture. Staff: Super friendly and quick service. Decor/ambience: Typical brew pub. Lots of long tables and benches and an outdoor patio area to bring the dogs to. ( Apparently the outdoor area is also where all the parents with babies and toddlers gravitate to) Suggestion for management: Erect a small privacy panel between parking lot and patio, OR move the "pick up only" parking spots to the right, away from the patio. People pull into the parking spots and leave their bright headlights on while one person goes in to pick up order. It is blinding for people sitting on the patio. I can't tell you how many times I've thought about this place after eating here last weekend. They have a great selection of craft and local beers. (They even had the amazing electric jellyfish hazy ipa- one of my al time favorites). We ordered the basil and goat cheese breadsticks that came with ranch and marinara, and went straight to the pecan cinnamon breadsticks. The dough here is amazing... it's light but manages to have that slightly chewy texture. It's seriously SO GOOD. And the toppings/garnishes are great quality. You know the food is amazing when I forget to take a single picture because I'm too busy stuffing my face. Definitely can't wait to come back. read more

For the sake of point of reference, I would say it's rivaling Pinthouse Pizza from pizza, beer, all the way down to ambience. More expensive though. We had the Margherita and Flying Garlic Pizza. Between three people, it was filling. The Flying Garlic was everyone's favorite and it is a definite must try. The pizza dough was light and airy and slightly crisp. Recall, some places do it too crisp where it gets burnt (Southside Pizza) but this was done right. The sauce and tomatoes on the Margherita were a bit sour but perhaps it's not in season. I rather have it than canned sauce any day. More basil than Pinthouse gives. All ingredients were fresh. Beer and wine draft. Beer selection was abundant and 6 wine drafts. It was soft opening so it wasn't so crowded. Due to location I would continue to expect the same but this is a good thing because Pinthouse is so crowded that we have to refrain if it being too late in the lunch hour to go. Will definitely recommend the coworkers this spot instead. Looking forward to grand opening and trying it out again. Go now and they'll give you a free pizza dessert. Found a new place for lunch for now. Only communal bench seating so hopefully it won't get sooo crowded that it's uncomfortable. Benches also teetered a bit, I thought I tripped twice. Great new spot in south Austin serving pizza and craft beer from around Austin. Came on a Friday evening and it wasn't too packed. Tables are set up community style benches and they also have an outdoor seating area as well. Order at the counter and they bring it out to you. We tried the hot wings. $10.95 is a bit steep for 8 small wings...as other reviews mentioned they are very similar to Tyson wings or Domino's. Just not worth that price. Pizza is more on the doughy side so not the thin woodfire oven kind if you're looking for that. They come in three sizes. The personal size will come out much more doughy than the larger pies so the toppings are minimal. We tried the Meat pizza and the pepperoni and basil pizza. Service was great and quick. read more

Yummy pizza! I swung by for lunch. I had the ground control and the olives and tasty meats were so flavorful. The owner came by to chat with me and see how the food was. He says he's still working on the dough but it tastes just right to me, light and airy, the way thin crust should be. I'm looking forward to the lunch specials and the happy hours. Ive been ordering since they opened. I don't know if it was a change in the recipe or inflation but we usually get the Major Tom and it was underwhelming. I asked for extra sauce on my online order and it was dry and the toppings were tiny. They used to not be tiny. Thank goodness I also ordered the Hawaiian style pizza and that was made correctly and cooked correctly with extra sauce. I got the feeling whomever made the second pizza did not also make the first. Like the pizza here, it is one of my go to pizza places in town. The cheese bread should be illegal and the flying garlic pizza is dreamy. The quality has been consistnet and then it wasn't. This last visit, they came up a little short of the runway. The dough was not cooked all the way and one of the 9 inch pizzas was 7 inches. Emailed them about the short order about a week ago and have not heard back. I am disappointed and it just makes me wonder about quality control in general. How could they not notice the pizza was almost 2 inches smaller than ordered or do they just not care? The lack of response indicates the later. read more

I just got through sending my complaint to the "contact us" tab on the website. Basically, probably the worst eating experience I've had in my 75 years. The food wasn't even mediocre, the cost was way over priced, we had one of our group trip and fall on the raised platform outside (to the point that she couldn't even try to eat), we had asked for the bill to be split between two credit cards, which didn't happen. The salads were limp, the pizzas almost inedible. I would give 0 stars, and would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

The thin-crust was cooked perfectly! Still slightly chewy but cooked all the way through. The pizza sauce was top-notch and there was no grease from the pepperonis. I've never actually been here in-person but I order all the time on DoorDash and will never order another delivery pizza again. The pizzas are easily customizable and I've never had an order made wrong (my go to is pepperoni and goat cheese with extra red sauce).
