i cant even really rate much of the food because the service was some of the worst service i have ever received in my entire life- we go up to the register and the place is practically empty, so we were looking at the menu since there was nobody in line. the cashier was beyond rude, was rolling her eyes at questions and just was very impatient and rude. so we order our pizza- the south austin says it only has feta and doesn't say mozzarella like every single other pizza. my mom has a dairy allergy and ordered it because feta is one of the only cheeses she can have. we received our focaccia w/o cheese and were talking about how we would start coming here more often. the pizza comes covered in mozzarella and my mom asks the cashier if there's anything they can do because she has an allergy and was told that its common sense that every pizza has mozzarella even though it was literally the only pizza without mozzarella in the description. she asks if there's anything they can do since we spent over $40 for pizza and she can't even eat it. the cashier wouldn't bring a manager and instead brought another employee who said the manager was not here. my mom asked if they were going to make it right and showed her how it was the only one and the employee raised her voice at my mom and became very confrontational. i drove an hour to come here and didn't even get to enjoy time w my family. we thought we would be returning but simply never will, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences i've ever had- there was such a simple solution to just replace it because of allergy. this isn't a matter of complaining and we've never had confrontation like this amongst employees. save your money and your energy. read more

The pizza is slightly above average and I would rate this place a 3.5 overall. The pizza dough is fresh, yet bland. The toppings are fresh as well. Is it the best pizza in Kyle? Quite possibly, thus far. In Texas? No. It's definitely tops in Kyle as a watering hole with their selections of beer. They have a chalkboard setup that lets you know what's on tap, and alcohol % content similar to Whole Foods beer tap selection. I'll be back just for the beer alone. This was my second time coming back and the second time was slightly worse due to service. I came this time at lunch, and the cashier was not all there. When I cashed out and paid, she left me there wondering what my number was and just picked one myself. She grabbed someone else's order and served a table. I picked the right number, because I got my order lol. I sat down at an open table closest to a tv, yet, it was also closest to the "menus". Instead of pointing people to the lunch specials, the cashier kept pointing entering customers to the corner of the restaurant to review the entire menu. So really, instead of me enjoying my lunch, I'm sitting there listening to people decide what they want to eat and line up. Clearly, management didn't think this one thru, set the menus up at the open table next to register so they can ask staff questions, have them point to the roll of paper with the lunch menu, etc. Otherwise, the open table next to the register is wasted space as well as the table in the back for customers to dine. Love having a casual pizza place in the Kyle/Buda area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Fun environment, kid friendly! And best of all pizza is amazing! One salad is enough for the whole table. ( we had 4 adults, each had salad and still took some home!) Would give 5 stars, but chairs are really uncomfortable unless you're a skinny model, in which case, you're not eating their pizza!!! Just ordered takeout for the first time from Aviator Pizza and all I can say is WOW! Absolutely delicious pizza and I loved the fact I was able to get vegan cheese as I can't eat a lot of dairy. Despite trying to hold back, I ate the entire 9" pizza and half of their Caesar salad. The Caesar dressing is some of the best I've ever had and the lettuce was so fresh and crisp. Literally the worst pizza I've ever had. We got a regular cheese pizza and a margarita pizza. The crust was doughy and undercooked. Even after asking for a extra crispy redo of the margarita pizza, it was barely crunchy at all. The dough tasted like it was made without salt, the paste was especially funky, like a really bad canned sauce, and the seasoning was all off. Everything slid right off the crust as we picked it up. The cheese was thick and chewy, and all the toppings were undercooked. We also got a small side Cesar salad. The dressing came in a prepackaged cup, the salad was served in a tiny styrofoam bowl, and the salad and toppings were almost icy cold. It was all beyond disappointing, but as the sign inside said... I have been coming here with my family since it has opened in kyle and we have always had great service and a great time. Today the girl at the counter was not friendly, she hardly spoke, she was on her phone, had an airpod in and couldn't bother to say thank you when a man held the door for her. On top of that when she brought us your Togo pizza we said thank you and she didn't say a thing and just walked back inside, the other woman was very friendly but the on with dark hair and the airpod in was very unfriendly. read more

I know that staffing has been an issue for everyone lately, but things have drastically gone downhill in regards to quality of service. My family has been loyal customers of Aviator Pizza in Kyle since it opened. Today, when I picked up my order, first of all, the requested change to some toppings being on 1/2 the pizza, was incorrect. The employee apologized and offered to make another pizza. I said, no big deal, I'll take them as is. Once I got home, the disappointments continued. The pizza was covered with toppings, but the cheese was very skimpy at best and the sauce was everywhere. My order looks like it was very hurriedly put together. The restaurant was busy, since it's a Friday night, but that is typically not an issue. I hope this trend does not continue, or our loyalty will discontinue. read more

LOVE. THEIR. PIZZA! Don't know where to begin everything was so incredibly good. Kid had the Hawaiian with bacon, hubs and I had the Greek with chicken, and the Flying Garlic. Not greasy. Man this place has pretty bad cosutmer service. They wont take orders over the phone (unlike litterally ever pizza place in existence) and will tell you to order online, only their website will tell you they are not taking online orders. You can try calling them to check if there even open, but you will just get a machine that wont let you leave a message or even talk to someone. 80% sure this place is a front for something, because they must not be selling a lot of pizza read more

Pizza was good but draft beer was warm. Also was over charged for the beer. I went to question them about it & they told me oh yeah it's priced wrong in the compute. Had I not looked at my receipt I never would have known they over charged me by $2.15. We spoke with the man about this issue as well as all the fruit flies landing on us. Had such high hopes and was just so disappointed! Pizza was mediocre in topping flavors and sauce flavor. The crust, however, was really soft and redeemable. The "lunch special" wasn't much of a deal at all. My salad was very small and consisted primarily of giant blocks of iceberg lettuce. Dressing was, however, very yummy for Caesar. The decor and the physical space itself is so great! Love that aspect of it. Great design, lots of windows and lovely patio lights. The nail in the coffin for the visit was seeing the California pizza kitchen food delivery truck/18-wheeler pull up as we were leaving. Sort of explained a lot about the taste and style of the pizza. I was just expecting more gourmet and artisan-style pizza and it didn't happen. :-( read more
