1 Star, If I could give zero, I would. Don't waste your time or money here. In my experience, this place had terrible service, cold pizza, and was shockingly filthy. We were in town for a conference and decided to try a local pizza spot big mistake. The guy at the counter (Asian/Hispanic appearance) acted stressed and irritated, even though I was the only customer and only ordered two pizzas. While waiting in the tiny lobby, I noticed roaches crawling around. When I pointed it out, he literally said, "Man, you are confusing me." At that point, I had already paid, so I grabbed the order and threw it straight in the trash. The cashier (same guy) was rude from the moment I walked in and acted like I was the problem. I doubt he's the owner or management, but if the business wants to survive, they might want to rethink who they leave in charge. Fortunately, Whataburger was right down the road. I should have taken pictures of all the roaches but didn't expect it and was caught off guard...I will return before I leave to get the photos... Save yourself the headache. Need cheap 1 topping pizzas for pickup quickly? This place will take care of you. Feeding more volunteers than usual at lunch, I called in to Rosie's a bit after 11am on a Saturday. I ordered 2 pepperoni and 1 each jalapeño, mushroom, beef/onion, Canadian bacon/pineapple. That's six large pizzas, two with an additional topping, and it was $42.69 after tax. That's why Rosie's is on my list for feeding crowds! Good price/head on the entree. They said it would be ready in 25 minutes. I hit the baby B for salad, chips, desserts and arrived in 30 to find all was ready. The only glitch was I'd planned to order 1/ea of their salads here, but they were out of lettuce. I've never had their salads so I don't know if I really missed out or dodged a bullet. Jalapeño was the clear winner, FYI. The onion was particularly generous, and all three I tasted were good. Rosie's is staying on my emergency food plan--they haven't done me wrong yet. read more

I have never had an issue with Rosie's pizza in all my years of ordering just 1 large pizza and breadsticks. I called in my order as usual. Furthermore, I arrive to get my order, and I'm greeted by a young man. He checks all orders on the ready counter. While he goes to the back of the counter to check the order receipts on the other side, I notice a breadstick on the far left side by itself. He then retrieved my pizza and came around to the register and grabbed the breadsticks and proceeded to ring me up. I did touch the breadsticks, and they felt warm but not hot. I arrived home to find the pizza still hot, but the breadsticks were hard and not their usual appearance when fresh. I then called and an unprofessional" manager", who when asked what her name was, told me why did I need her name. This is when I got upset. I said as a business professional, when a customer asks your name, you then give the customer your name. She then put me back on hold with no warning. She came back on the phone to tell me her name was Brooke, and sorry for the hold. Rosie's, please do better as a business and make sure the customer is treated with more respect than that. read more

Horrible place. Don't order here. I use to like them but i order for pick up for my fiancé to get it and they got my order wrong so I call them I expected to get a refund or even get store credit, but no. I have to drive to the restaurant again and show them that they got my order wrong. And have to wait an additional 20 mins for them to make the pizza and still won't get a store credit or refund and they keep the wrong pizza. At least they let us keep the bad one for their mistake. Don't get pizza from here. Any where else but here. Not friendly at all and horrible experience. Like I stated I use to like them but now don't bother to order from this place. And i gave them a 2nd chance to make it and they still got it wrong! So I demanded a refund for the full price for the pizza. Had to wait longer for them to call their manager. The manager isn't even there at all. Finally after awhile they gave me the refund but it was the wrong amount so they had to call again for the refund to the manager and finally gave me the correct refund. And they gave me the 2nd pizza they made wrong to take with me. Never again. Don't get pizza here. read more

Walked in and said to girl at register..."I'd like three large pizzas please." And before I could finish she yelled "Did you call it in?" When I said "no", she rolled her eyes and snatched up the paper ticket in annoyance. I'm visiting from Houston and wanted to try something local. I'm already regretting my decision. When I ordered mushrooms, she said abruptly "We ain't got mushrooms." I said "What DO you have?" She said "It's on the menu" pointing to the 80's style menu with the block letters. Mushrooms is listed on that menu. That was rude. My question was to avoid saying I wanted a topping that you were out of. Anyways, I ordered the pizzas since we are hungry and the price is low. She said ten minutes. It's already been 20 as I write this review. While we waited outside, one of the workers came outside and talked with my husband while playing games with the two girls on the store. He said they were cousins. Why are they playing and not making our food? No regard for us as the customer. The girl with the eye makeup threw the receipt book at the door while the gentleman was outside pretending to take the tips. I couldn't imagine that any owner would permit this type of behavior. Their customer service is a ZERO. I am typing this while I wait (too long) for my pizza. They just have us waiting while we watch them play behind the counter. Good enough pizza for the price, don't expect your pizza to be cut evenly though. But my main gripe is the false advertising of their hours. They say 10pm is their closing time, but I have been told countless times by them when I call to order at 9:15, 45 minutes before they close, that they are not accepting anymore orders for the night and are closed. What's worse is that they answer your call and ask what you want, you give them your order just for them to go "oh actually we decided to close early for the night and won't help you". I normally don't write bad reviews, but tonight I'm writing one on behalf of the 3 other people I needed to feed. I would likely have given a good four stars, because the pizza is good and cheap. Most of the time when I eat it, my job has bought it and left it in the break room. I dont have terribly high expectations because of the price, but the service I have received the past two times that I have personally ordered from them has been deplorable. Last night, about an hour before they closed, we called in to place a carry out order for two pizzas, a cheese and pepperoni. My roommate gave me his debit card and sent me on my merry way to retrieve the pizza. Upon arrival, I was informed that they didn't have the pizza prepared or any record of my roommate calling. Apparently, the two stooges working threw out the ticket. They offered to remake the pizza, to which I said yes after calling my roommate to tell him. We agreed to wait, but we were then informed that they threw out all of the pizza making supplies, so we just couldn't have any pizza. Sorry. They were about to close. Keep in mind we ordered our pizza a full hour before. Most every other place in town was about to close or closed. I asked for some sort of information from management but the guy at the counter flat out refused. We all ended up going to Wingstop. I might try a different location but those guys were so rude I dont even think its worth it. read more

I've lived in San Marcos for 15 years, and it is my favorite pizza. I'm not super picky when it comes to pizza, and I enjoy many of our other pizza places here, but when it's up to me, I always go right to Rosies. My favorites are the BLT and the Veggie. It's delicious, fast, and best of all, cheap. My only complaint is that they don't deliver! I'd still choose Rosie's over delivery though :) read more

They don't have the best people working there, but again, price and speed along with the fact that it is clean in there. I work a little outside of town and this is one of, if not the closest place to get food from, from my work. My brother ranted and raved about this place. He told me he had gotten some pizza's to go. They had a large 1 topping for $5.49. I decided to give this place a shot. I walked in and was helped by a tattooed guy. There is nothing wrong with tattoos at all. He was not very personable. He took my order. I saw the sign that they had breadsticks as a special. He made no effort to let me know that was available. I opted for the 1 topping large and waited for it to be ready. I did manage to get my pizza rather quickly. The tattooed guy did apologize for having to wait. I did not call the pizza in, so it was no problem. Their large is the same size and some pizza places mediums. For the price, you can not beat it. The sauce was good. It had some flavor to it without being over bearing. All pizza places have specials. If the tattooed guy would have offered a hoagie deal, I probably would have opted for it. He did not offer anything. For the price, it is a deal. It is a pizza place that is a takeout only. I am not going to knock off stars for service quality. I would strongly advise them to push the specials. I would also suggest they update their website. That might have brought them more business. read more

It's cheap and decent, not great. "Supreme" pizza is just sautéed mushrooms, onions and green bell pepper thrown on top of a pepperoni and sausage pizza. Toppings seem to be cooked separately so they fall off while you're trying to eat. Pretty good crust. Chicken wings aren't very good, kind of soggy and super fatty- I prefer more crispy but the hot sauce is good. They weren't served with any ranch or blue cheese (which would've been nice). The Greek salad was good, lots of toppings (feta, red onion, tomato and black olives). Over all for the price it's good. I'll probably get pizza and salad again. Oh and the sweet tea is pretty good too, super sweet! read more

Even though I live just down the street, this is the first time I had eaten their pizza, I had their famous Greek salad before. Today I ordered their deluxe pizza and the Greek salad. Tonight not only was the pizza extremely disappointing because it wasn't the double pepperoni extra crispy pizza my man ordered AND PAID FOR! He paid for extra toppings and what we got was a COLD nasty stale crust pizza. To make things worse when he tried calling them to see if they would make things right they actually hung up on him and wouldnt pick up after that. Finally after several attempts, the only caucasian boy working with 2 other hispanic boys answered just to yell... STOP CALLING AND HUNG UP... so unprofessional, poor managemnent and horrible customer service.. This won't be the last you hear from us!
