This is the third Aviator location in the AUSTIN area. Came with a group to celebrate a birthday. Really nice selection of beer on tap. Wine menu could be a little broader. They were busy, but still managed to get all 10 of our orders correct and to our table in a timely and orderly fashion. Pizza and salads are all delicious. Same awesome quality as the other locations. Made from scratch and exactly to order. Probably in the top 5 of pizza places in and around AUSTIN. Another visit confirms my original assessment: I'm not crazy about their pizza. However, I really like their salads, dressings, and beer/wine choices and I really like both their inside and outside seating. So I'll return for drinks, salad, and a pleasant atmosphere winter or summer, but I'll pass on the pizza. I am a pizza conasuer and Italian. I happen to live walking distance and decided to walk over and watch a Dallas cowboy game their on one of their large TV's. Great ambience and micro beer selection, but their pizza (crust) was not good at all. I hate soft crust on a pizza. I had a traditional margarita with added Italian sausage. And although the toppings were good the crust itself( even after a remake) was soft. Note their toppings or sauce were not a factor in the soft seemingly uncooked crust. Napoleon or traditional NY thin crust pizza should be crusty bubbly and have a freshly yeasty taste. This crust was bland and very soft. For those that like raw doughy and chewy crust then this is for you. Terrible even after a remake. read more

We stopped in on a Saturday evening around 8 and were surprised there wasn't a super long wait. This place has two great patio sections as well as a good size indoor dining space. It was a nice evening so we opted to sit outside. You order at the counter and then take your number to the table where they will bring your food. We were quoted about 15 minutes for our pizza and it came out right on time! The Meat Almighty was fantastic. We were so hungry and it did not disappoint. Although we didn't drink, they had plenty of beer on draft and a selection of wine as well. Definitely would recommend for some good pizza! We have lived in the Buda/Kyle area for about a year now and just haven't found "our" pizza place yet. I mean, there is decent pizza around, but we haven't found the one. We decided on takeout because, thanks to the time change, it was already 7pm and we had not even thought about dinner yet. My wife ordered Pho from another place, and I decided I would give yet another restaurant a try to win my pizza business. I looked at the menu, which is quite extensive if your in to fancy pizzas with different sauces, toppings, and combinations. I am southern Texas through and through, so I ordered the 4 cheese pizza and the tomato and mozzarella breadsticks. They said it would be ready in 35 minutes and had curbside service. I pulled up right on time, called in the number, and within 30 seconds I had my pizza in the car. My wife opened the box to look at the food and the car instantly smelled amazing. The food looked awesome - the breadsticks were as big as the small pizza I ordered (9" round). We got home and my wife had a breadstick, got up, and put her Pho in the refrigerator for tomorrow. The 4 cheese pizza was amazing! Literally some of the best pizza I have ever had. The sauce was great, not greasy. The pizza didn't have the "puddle" of cheese grease in the middle, and the slices weren't dripping with it either. The breadsticks were soft and awesome, with a great marinara dipping sauce. I love this place more than life itself. The pizza is phenomenal. I make sure to order more than I can eat in one sitting because the pizza tastes just as good as leftovers the morning after. You can tell that quality is at the top of their priorities no matter how busy it gets inside the store The tap is endless. There's a type of beer for everyone. The lady at the front is always making me try something different recommending beers based on my flavor preferences. I've made multiple trips here just to try all the beer. We were looking for a place to meet our friends somewhere in between Austin and San Antonio. We found this place randomly and were pleasantly surprised to find a nice indoor/outdoor restaurant when we arrived. All four of us ordered salads to start with and they were massive, one is enough for two people to share. We also shared an extra large pizza, half pepperoni and basil and the other half had bell peppers added. The pizza was delicious! Very cheesy and full of flavor. I especially enjoyed the crust which was moist with a crispy brick oven taste. We travel to SA often so we're happy to have found a great midway stop! read more

That adds up. first time there so I said I'll order a simple pepperoni pizza just to try them out. Nothing special and nothing to differentiate them from the rest of the pizza joints. Much to my surprise I saw that they sell grinders. I got so excited. Cause grinders is a Detroit thing. Thought to myself the owner must be from Detroit. So again keeping it simple I ordered the turkey grinder. It should state the size when ordering, I thought I was ordering a bigger sub enough for two people. I got home. And couldn't wait to sink my teeth in the grinder and feel like I'm home in Detroit. What a huge disappointment! Small and tasted like a regular sub that I can make at home and bun was dry and almost burned. Please, if you're gonna sell grinders go to Detroit and learn how they do it. A grinder is a million times better than a regular sub. Sooo. I was more disappointed in the grinder than the pizza. read more

My husband, son and I found this place by accident while driving around in Kyle. Wow, are we glad we did!!!!!! I had the Spinach Artichoke pizza, my son had the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and my husband had their Italian sandwich...we all agreed that they were the best we've ever had! First time here, wanted to try something new to me. We will start with the positives: Love the outdoor seating. Minimalist inside. Outstanding selection of toppings on the menu. Nice selection of specialties. Like that they have a nice specialty beer menu (lots of choices) and craft soda. Now the negatives: Crust has no flavor on its own, it's better with garlic butter on it. Red sauce has zero, and I mean Zero, flavor. Tastes like plain tomato paste. Not much sauce on the pizza (normally I like a medium amount but in this case it would not have helped. No unsweetened tea choice. Overall: if you have picky kids, this is bland enough they will eat. But if you want good pizza, you're better off with Mod (or even Domino's quite honestly). Staff about average in that they don't interact with you unless they have to. I really like this place. The food is really good, & has restored my faith in pizza. In today's pizza world, it all generally tastes the same....except theirs. Something about it makes it taste even better! Their beer is pretty good too...I really liked their lime-flavored beer. I could actually taste the lime, not just a hint of it. I wasn't a fan of their funnel cake beer, but my husband loved it...probably because it tasted like pez candy (to me). LOL They are a bit pricy, so we don't go often....but if you have a few extra bucks to throw around, I definitely recommend this place! read more
