They give you accurate estimates on how much time your vehicle will be in the hospital, and will not take your car until they're ready to start on it. I had a really poor experience here; ended up paying way more than the initial estimate I was given multiple times, and my car smelled really bad in the interior when I went to pick it up. Update: the owner of the shop replied saying they informed me that Progressive may not cover a new part, which is true, but they told me it would cost $300-$400, not almost $800. Let me start by saying the whole process to repair my car from drop off to finish was about 45 days: so it wasn't quick. However, I don't think the body shop was to blame. It seems like certain parts are hard to come by. They are incredibly nice on the phone, and will try to help you as best they can. Gave them another chance, after few years ago they couldn't match the paint on my other tesla's door. This was even worse experience than back then. First off, I had to wait 1.5 months for this appointment and initially, they said it will take 7-10 days to repair. Two weeks go by, no updates from them - I call and ask them what's going on, to which they say they couldn't fit the part and had to reorder it, ok, but how about notifying the customer? Already red flag. Then they said it will be done November 15, again, no call from them on November 15. On November 16, they tell me the car will be done end of day, that's 17 days since I dropped it off. All for a minor dent and a few scratches on the front fender. Tesla service would take a week to replace an entire battery pack and they take nearly 3 weeks for this simple repair that insurance estimated should've taken 4 days. That's not all - I come to pickup the car and what you think - it has two extremely visible paint chips on the front fender they were repairing and another scratch on the rear fender, where they shouldn't be even working. They said I will have to leave the car with them for another few days to repair that. They had no quality control prior to telling that the car would be ready and did a horrible job with repair and no communication at all. To add more, they stole or "forgot to put back" two camera tripods that were in my trunk and sunglasses. They had no business even opening the trunk as the damage was on the front fender. They also took everything out of my center console and dumped out, where the glasses were before that - surprised that's all they took. Zero out of ten. I hope this review stops potential customers, because I sure won't use their services beyond them having to still fix those paint chips. read more

I had a fender-bender with my Tesla Model 3 (Tila) and was told to take it here. My friend swore that he doesn't trust taking his Model 3 anywhere else for repairs. Not only were there a bunch of Teslas and Ferraris parked in front, but sure enough, there were Tesla Certified plaques everywhere in the waiting area. Everyone at Avio was very friendly and professional. Kendall was the point of contact for me and he was amazing - knowledgeable, accommodating, thorough, and friendly. Tila was in the shop for longer than expected but I was kept up-to-date and was completely worth it as they did an excellent job! I'm more often than not posting on here to complain. In this case, I'm excited to write a glowing 5-star review. Growing up, I learned to never trust carpet salesmen, car dealers, mechanics, and body shops. I'm writing because Aviv Coach Craft is the EXCEPTION to that rule. We have 2 Teslas, a Model S and Model X, both relatively new. Our Model S sustained a small but significant accident (thank you AutoPilot) several months ago and Avio did a RAPID and exemplary job repairing it. Fast forward to last week, when bird poop or some chemical got onto the hood (the area crumpled in the accident) and etched the clear coat. I called Avio and spoke with Michael, the owner. After explaining what had happened to him, he said "bring it in any day, at your convenience, and we'll fix it while you wait." Then I asked "how much would it cost?" cringing in fear of the dollar amount. $1000? $2000? NOPE -- he said "you were an excellent, patient customer, this is in an area we'd previously worked on, and frankly it's a really quick fix - zero!" I was in disbelief. Yesterday I took our car in to Avio (packed with damaged Teslas, among real exotic vehicles) and was personally/immediately greeted by name by Michael (who's never met me before). He took my key, personally drove it into the shop, and in under 10 minutes (the time it took for me to open a drink and connect to WiFi!) had my car back outside waiting for me, looking like new. I have never experienced service like this in my life, not just in body shops but in ANYTHING. Michael and his team are honest, professional, and do a fast, amazing job. If there are delays, it's due to Tesla not sourcing the parts, but these guys work exceptionally fast. I'd give them 6 stars if that were possible! read more

I had a mess of a situation with my car, in short story my brother's ex-girlfriend took revenge with a rock to my car- the back window was completely destroyed and there were dents when the rock fell. I didn't go through insurance so the person who I was in communication with (Bryan) not only gave me a reasonable price but paid for my Uber back home and back to pick up the car. This place beat all my expectations when my Tesla3 got into a minor fender bender. They checked out the car on my initial visit, determined the need for a new bumper and also warned about potential other issues when they investigated deeper, and then told me to return in a month when the part was ordered. I returned in a month, the bumper was replaced by the end of that week, no additional work was needed, and Kendall even sat for 15 minutes while I waited and hand wiped some of the residual adhesive off the new bumper when I told him I noticed it (even thought he also mentioned it was just cosmetic and would go away over time and a car wash since it was just temporary anyway). This is a long overdue review, as Kendall and his team helped me at the end of last year and earlier this year. The short review is that I trust Kendall and his team so much that, yesterday, when another motorist bumped into my bumper, I immediately thought of how Kendall and his team would take care of me and I need not worry. So sorry to the team for not writing my experience sooner--I guess I was too busy enjoying the fresh car! My first encounter with the team was my first accident in my Tesla model 3, so I was very worried about how the process would go. Thankfully, Kendall and his team was super responsive and helped me every step along the way. One of the best part is that they ordered the part and allowed me to have the car back while we wait for it--critical given supply chain constraints. Two experiences stood out especially during the process. 1) The accident occurred on the right side of my door, and when I brought the car in, I mentioned that there was a curb ding near it, and I was wondering if anything can be done regarding it (even if from my own pocket). They mentioned that they're not sure they can do anything since it's far from the damage, but when I got the car back, the ding was gone with no mention from the team. To me this highlighted their attention to detail, as well as willingness to make the customer happy without looking for anything in return. 2) When I got the car back, there was some minor damage that was originally not visible due to the dirt and grime from the accident. Though their team had quite an extensive backlog, they did everything in their power to schedule me in, as well as contact the insurance team to make sure nothing comes out of my pocket. They even did a surface touch up before the real appointment to make sure the car looks good. Since my initial review several years ago, I have brought my car in for an insurance covered bumper repair. The work was flawless. That was about a year and a half ago. More recently, I brought my car in to re attach the rear spoiler, which had fallen off. And once again, Avio offered to perform the work for no charge. I've had the bad luck to need minor bodywork for my Tesla 3 three times. I'm insured through State Farm which has "preferred" shops (think HMO) but none for Tesla. Avío is the only certified Tesla shop in my area. Luckily they are professional, helpful and friendly. And they worked with State Farm to have the work completely covered. Its nice to know that there are still businesses out there that are out to help others in need and not just looking to make a quick buck. Avio is AWESOME. I hit a piece of a broken tire at 80 MPH in which at that speed the fittings on any sports car air dam might get damaged or come loose. Mine appeared tweaked and the service man at Beverly Hills Porsche referred me to AVIO. The gentlemen came out and looked at my car and was able to fit the loose bumper very quickly and then got underneath the car to fit the protective cover on. It was not easy to do but I could see that he was always aiming to help others. That's customer SERVICE! He got a customer for LIFE in a simple gesture.
