What sets Enterprise Leasing apart from other companies is its focus on taking care of the customer. One big difference is that you are escorted out to the area, where you can pick out your car. After that, the escort goes over the car and answers any questions you might have. This company is still privately owned by the Taylor Family. Andy Taylor is now the head of the company.

I reserved on-line two months in advance, a 15 passenger van from the 5718 S. Lindbergh, St. Louis office. To be sure they had the vehicle, I called the day before to confirm my vehicle would be there I waited on hold for over 35 mins to talk to a lady in that South St. Louis County office and she said, " I see your reservation. We have 7 vans on the lot. It will be no problem to pick up your van anytime after 12 noon". My son arrives at 2 PM to pick up the van and Enterprise gave the van away. We asked why? The manager said, "the last van left the lot at 12:35 PM". Why? No direct answer, but the manager insinuated that someone else with "higher priority" took our van. When we asked why didn't Enterprise call our contact number first? No answer from the manager. When we asked if there was any other Van in St. Louis we could pick up the manager said "One van, but it is in for an oil change and won't be ready till 5:30 PM." We told the manager we would only drive a group of physicians less than 100 miles total so can we please have the van now? Manager's answer, "No. It's company policy". Enterprise has a complete disregard for customer service and is callous to screwing their customers. This is a clear sign of systemic decline in a mature company gone bad. My and my company's leasing and car rentals will no longer be with Enterprise.

The manager there a younger Burnette girl in her mid 20s is extremely rude and asks very personal questions including what kind of car I currently drive and what I plan on doing with my 1 day requested rental, respectfully I don't think that's really her business and she should focus on helping her customers out instesd of trying to turn them down and investigate them weirdly. Tyler the former manager there was not bad and he helped me out a couple times with a rental there although the new entourage that is there is extremely unprofessional and look for reasons not to do their job.

The car was very clean, new (2023) Audi, But that's not even the half of it. When I returned the car, I was waiting for a cab for over 1 hour, Steve asked me if I needed a ride, I told him I was waiting for a cab. He said if I needed a ride back to my hotel to ask Ed, sure enough, This crew took the extra time and effort to make sure that I was safe. I was on a time crunch needed to get my family back home. A few days before we were to pick the car up, my husband happened to be by the pick up location and noticed that the building was shut down and the Hertz sign was no longer in place. He called Hertz and asked where we should pick up the car on Saturday, June 1. He was given an alternate pick-up address which turned out to be a truck pick up location only AND when we arrived there was a note stuck on the door which read 'Closed on Saturdays until further notice'. We then spent the next hour on hold with Hertz trying to figure out what to do. Once they answered, the only options were to pick a car up at the airport at double the cost OR void the contract which started Saturday, June 1 and start a new contract starting Monday, June 3. We choose option 2 and went to pick up the car Monday, June 3 at which time we are told having 2 drivers on the car costs $13/day extra. However, the agent said if we signed up as a Gold Member the $13 fee gets waved. We started to sign up, she said there was no need. Just finish the contract, sign up as a Gold Member and call an 800# to apply the difference. You can probably guess what happened based on the stellar service received thus far. We called the office and were told that it would only apply to future rentals. We asked to speak to a manager. There were none available but we could leave our number and hear from someone in 72 hours. Wow. All I can say is do not rent a car from Hertz. It is frustration from start to finish!!

It rained often this week, so there was some grass debris on the floor. They do not inform you that you need to clean the car before you bring it back, and threatened to charge us a $450 cleaning fee if we didn't vacuum the back. It was not excessively dirty, and they need to clean the car anyway, so we are not sure why they are demanding us to vacuum. There was also a large scratch on the front of the car when we rented it, that the guy who worked there happened to "miss," and luckily my wife saw it. We will not be returning, as the owners were extremely rude and caused us a great amount of stress.

About 20 minutes later, after standing outside in the freezing cold, a young man arrived to process my request and send me on my way with a car. He was not "Vivian" whose name was posted on the door. The vehicle was filthy but he cleaned it up before I drove off. The car worked well... fortunately we were given an All-Wheel Drive SUV so we could manage the snow we encountered on the trip. No problems with the vehicle itself. Upon return, this Vivian was there, and was the only one working that day. I feel bad for this older women whose husband was the original owner. She isn't quite up to her game. This place is very small, located in a shack-turned-storefront with peeling lead paint, and not exactly what I was picturing for a Budget rental location. After speaking with representatives at 1-800-BUDGET, I was reassured and things were made right. I will rent from Budget again, but not from this spot on Watson!

Upon getting to the rental desk, located inside the Holiday Inn, the agent had left up a number to call as he was out servicing cars. I called it and he was at the desk quick, my rental ready to go. I got a free upgrade, which was nice, and he pulled the car up and off I went. No issues with the car while traveling, which is always great in my book. I did a box drop off that following Sunday evening. My agreement asked me to fill the car up before dropping my papers and keys into their box. I also left a copy of the gas receipt with the rental agreement as I know at other locations they ask for it. I got a text the next morning that they received the car and my rental was complete. Thank you Avis for a smooth rental - we will for sure use your services again.

My wife and I celebrated our five year wedding anniversary by traveling to all of our favorite places around St. Louis. Our driver, Dado, was extremely courteous, patient, and knew his way around town (he even navigated around the train tracks in downtown Kirkwood). Plus, he was a safe driver. The limo itself was clean and in good shape. The only downside was that the interior smelled a little bit like cigarette smoke.
