I gave her my debit card and ID, not realizing Budget did not accept debit cards. She threw my cards on the desk back at me and said they didn't accept debit cards. I then asked. Upon my return will I be able to rent a car that was reserved. She told me, " You'll take whatever I give you." At this point I'm becoming agitated with this bad customer service. So I replied, "Well, I did reserve a car for a reason, I don't need a truck or anything else." She said again, "You'll take whatever I give you." I told her her customer service skills sucked and I doubt if I will return that day or any other day. She told me to leave then and she didn't care one way or the other. I was recently rear ended and my insurance sent me here for a rental. They could not have been…read morenice enough or more efficient. My issue comes from today when I returned the car. Check in and out was a breeze. When I needed a ride to the auto shop comes my issue. They have a huge passenger van that the really needs a step ladder to get in. I hoisted myself up in which with two replacement knees not any easy feat. I went to buckle the seat belt and it broken. I slide over to the other side. We get there I slide back over and an can't get the door open. Another passenger had to open it for me. Not the driver! Getting out was very difficult to the point the passenger offered to help me. I did manage to sort of fall out and it the process re hurt my back which I'm already having treatments for. I did call and who ever answered the phone said someone would call me back??? He did say something to the effect because of the pandemic. I get it, I really do but if you have to use that ridiculously high van, get a step stool. Not acceptable! This can make your head hurt, you reached out to me and asked me to email you the details which I did and then you replied to I needed to send it to claims? My complaint?

If you have a weekend rental they automatically charge you for the days they are closed. I had a one day rental pick up Friday and returning Saturday for $53. I returned the car on time. Monday I get a receipt for $168. It's almost impossible getting through to speak to someone to get it resolved. The first time it happened I had to go in because I couldn't get anyone on the phone. This is now the third time it has happened and it's ridiculous. Hertz you need to fix this.

The person at the desk had an attitude about it like we were the problem. Attached is the website policy. The in store policy was on the backside of an ad that had to be turned around, adds a $250 deposit as well as your rental fee, plus does a credit check that does not tell you what credit score you need to pass. We asked him, and he gave us 3 different scores they were looking for. Then, when we had to cancel our reservation, he couldn't do it there and we had to call corporate to get our refund. Do not use this company, especially this location.

So, I asked was that how he talks to customers because I'm second guessing my rental. He didn't care that it represents negatively on whether or not I wanted to do business with Avis. He then started scold me . I just decided to leave. Dude really made this experience feel like I would be renting from a junk yard, especially the way he was dressed like he fixes cars instead of renting them. There's plenty of rental agency's near. Skip this location.
