Despite reserving the style vehicle I needed a week in advance, I went to pick-up and was given a downgraded (smaller vehicle) at the larger vehicle price point. Dan, who really is in over his skill set managing this location (chided me and hung up during our call) offered to give me a rental credit, lowering the price. While that, at first, sounds almost fair all that was really accomplished was that my bill is now about what it should be renting the smaller vehicle. If I was price conscious here, I would have just selected something smaller to begin with. Calls to Enterprise's customer "service" resulted in anything but resolution, including: 2 calls committing to my getting a phone call from the area manager (that did not materialize) 1 call that resulted in getting hung up on (guessing Indian call center with this one) Why I was not contacted in advance, and while I would have had time to make other arrangements, once the dream team at this location realized they would not have the vehicle I wanted is, truly, a question for the ages. I now am left in the situation of needing to leave at dawn tomorrow in a vehicle unfit for purpose and for which I overpaid. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere.

My car insurance recommended I go through Hertz and my rental car was covered for no charge, which is quite typical. I had the rental car from Hertz for a week. Apparently this location has a good car selection but because I came in on an off day (Saturday) the selection was less than impressive. My only option was a Chevy Spark. I did, however, appreciate that I was given the option to come in on Monday to get a different car at no charge. Great customer service! Renting and returning the car was quite painless. I was always greeted with a smile and never had an issue upon walking in. No long lines. No irritated and impatient workers. Happy experience!

Disappointing Experience with Hertz…read more We reserved a 12-passenger van but were given a 15-passenger van instead with no explanation. Beyond the mix-up, the vehicle itself was in poor condition -- filthy inside and out, with a strong smoke smell that made it clear it hadn't been properly cleaned or disinfected between rentals. Several seatbelts didn't work properly, including one in the back row that wouldn't function at all, and the seatbelt caps and knobs throughout the vehicle were broken. We also had to buy a gallon of windshield washer fluid ourselves because the reservoir was empty, and the tire pressure was very low across the board, forcing us to make an unplanned stop at Discount Tire just to get everything properly filled before we could safely continue our trip. On top of that, the van clearly had transmission issues, struggling to shift into gear with the RPMs running unusually high. Most concerning of all was the steering. It pulled hard to the right the entire trip, and we had to fight the wheel just to keep the van straight, leaving our arms sore from the effort. We checked the brake fluid ourselves and it was fine, but something with the steering, possibly the steering arm, clearly wasn't right. Driving a 15-passenger van in that condition felt genuinely unsafe. When we returned the van, we found the location had changed its hours and no one was there to go over any of these issues with us. We called afterward and were sent a form to document everything, which we filled out and returned. We've been waiting to hear back ever since. We intentionally held off posting this review for almost three weeks, hoping someone would reach out and make things right. No one ever called. For a company of Hertz's size, I expected basic maintenance and cleanliness standards to be met before handing over the keys, and I expected a response when a customer raises serious safety concerns. Unfortunately, this rental fell short on every front, and the silence afterward was the final straw. We will never use or recommend Hertz again.

This was in September it is now March and we are told they are refusing to reimburse us saying we didn't put the correct tire on. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever dealt with honestly.
