Check in complete- please proceed to the Hertz counter. When we arrived at the Hertz counter (which is the farthest one away in the garage ) the woman was rude. I politely said hello and my name, and she just snapped I need your license! I said I already did the online check in, she said again I need your license! Okay, no problem. She said I need a credit card for a $200.00 hold, put it in the machine. I did and she starts typing in the computer. She asks if I want the extra insurance and if I want to pre pay for gas - no thank you. She said your car is number 14 over there! I asked what kind of car I was given and she finally told me. No thank you, goodbye, nothing. The car was a 2024 Nissan Rogue and drove great with plenty of room. However, the car was completely out of windshield fluid and the front seats were all stained. You would think with a brand new car they would have it detailed to keep it looking good for customers. When we returned the car at the airport, I mentioned the windshield fluid and the man said yeah they are supposed to fill that up when they wash the car .... I now know why the reviews are so bad. Rude customer service and no one does their job. We usually use Enterprise when we rent a vehicle, but decided to give Hertz a try. Well, goodbye Hertz, we are returning to Enterprise!

Why does this matter? Because they dont take care of them. Never rented from this location that there wasn't something. Last time, it was that they didn't replace the tires on an suv, (definitely check the tires) and had a blowout. Not a fluke, just thousands of miles past their service life. Scary, but typical. But if you must book here, like me, do so very far in advance, because they don't have enough cars for the location.

After reading…read morenumerous online reviews across several sites, I landed with Enterprise (I'm normally a Hertz Gold Plus). Enterprise had the highest and most consistent ratings next to Alamo. Come to find out all the high rated companies are owned by the same folks. Bravo to that group for providing quality service. Enterprise was also one of the select few that had a published phone number that would get you to an actual Tulsa agent vice the 1-800 black holes. I got into Tulsa just short of 11pm and was able to find my way to the garage booth and the young lady there was very warm, friendly, and speedy. She was able to put me in a truck and I was on my way in less than 5 minutes. Highly recommend the Tulsa Airport Enterprise for future rentals. *Note on TUL Intl: Don't go down stairs to find the rental counters, they are on the main floor just outside security. The booths are across the drive on the top level of the parking garage. Signage is small when you come out of the concourses (A or B) but, you can find them pretty quickly if you pay attention.

I had to wait 2 months for the car to get shipped over from JApan, but Robert stayed in touch with me weekly to let me know of any progress, And then when it arrived the pretty much gave me the price I was looking for, got me a better financing package than I was able to get myself in 2 months of applying, and matched the cash offer I had from CarMax on my trade in. When I arrived I was told they didn't have a vehicle for me because they were out of cars, but there appeared to be plenty of vehicles parked in front of their office. and they would call if a vehicle becomes available. I was also told the vehicles go to customers who book first for that day, which I never heard heard of that before. Anyways, I called their 800 number and the agent told me there was vehicles available at the Peoria Ave location so I took a Lyft to that location only to be told that location only rents to people who are sent by the insurance companies. I tried calling that store before going over to the Peoria location but nobody there answers the phone. So, I figure I'd trust the customer service agent and go down there. Of course, it was a wasted trip and money going out there. I ended up spending nearly 70.00 using Lyft service going to these locations and back to downtown. Around 1805 I park next to Roundhouse Consignments, locked the 2022 Red Chevy Equinox at the 4945 S Peoria Ave location, walked up to Hertzdoor and dropped off the keys in the drop box. I left to catch a flight to WA state. 9/29 around 0844PST I called Hertz (918) 742-3453 staff to confirm the car was returned, ticket was closed and I complained about car not being cleaned when I got it because my son found a cigar underneath the driver seat. The lady confirmed the ticket was closed and said there were no problems. No charges were to be placed because it was through my insurance. On 10/6 I received a charge from Hertz. I called the Peoria branch and spoke to Sandy she stated the car was returned 10/4 by Dropbox; I told her I dropped it off 09/28 and her staff confirmed the ticket closed 9/29; she stated she would investigate and get back with me by 1300CT 10/7. However, no one called; I called but was told she was out of the office. I called the District Manager Jennifer in the Memorial branch 10/10 and she stated according to GPS the car was never at the location on Peoria on 9/28. I filed a police report. On 10/13, A branch Manager told Detective Shaw the vehicle was at the Tulsa Peoria location on 09/28. I still haven't received my money back and apologies for charges/my time. DO NOT TRUST HERTZ!
