Best massages ever!!! Every time my husband and I think it can't get any better...it does!…read more Found this spot thanks to Yelp and there's no going back. Whenever we have someone in town, we book a massage. It's a win-win and everyone looks forward to it. I wish I had their picture post massage when they've transcended for the first time haha. Anyway, Kevin and staff are always warm, professional, and welcoming. We've had Erika and Wendy the last two times and will be requesting them by name. No doubt everyone does a great a gob. We book the couples massage typically and it runs about $105 for 90 minutes. Sometimes there are coupons, but either way, you can't beat that deal. Especially since they are so receptive to feedback and adjusting. This is also a mix of Thai and traditional- our favorite style of massage.

My first experience was okay, so I decided to give it another try. The masseuse was kind; however, I was uncomfortable with the amount of pressure used. She pushed directly on my spine/backbone, which I have never experienced at any other massage place. I had to ask her not to massage that area. She also massaged my neck very aggressively. I asked her to use lighter pressure multiple times (at least three times for different areas of my body). In some areas, the pressure then became too light, but overall the pressure felt inconsistent. I regularly get massages, including deep tissue massages, and have tried many different places, so this experience felt unusual to me. It has been almost a week, and I am still feeling sore. I was also told that the boss instructed her to massage me strongly, which was not something I requested. Unfortunately, instead of feeling relaxed, I left feeling uncomfortable. While the staff were kind, this experience was not a good fit for me, and I don't think I will be returning.

Started the New Year off on the right foot (:D) with a visit to Sunshine Foot Spa. I had never…read morebeen before, but my sister had, and she suggested we both go for the 60-minute Combo treatment, which includes foot, scalp, and body massage. There are a handful of massage tables all in a row in a cozy, dim, communal room. You keep your clothes on, other than your shoes/socks, throughout the treatment. It might also be a good idea to wear looser clothing and pants that easily roll up past the knee. My sister said they used to have you relocate to one of the private massage rooms for the body massage, but it seems they changed the model and you just do the whole service clothed in the communal room - at least, this was the case for the 60-minute Combo treatment. Or maybe it was just done this way because we were the only clients in the whole spa at the time. My massage was pretty much as relaxing as any I've had in the area, and with all of our health insurance co-pays going up this year, it's probably a better self-care proposition than a session of therapy. ;) The cost was $50 for the 60-minute Combo treatment, plus $2 card processing fee and tip. Do note there may be a language barrier, in case that is a concern of yours. I didn't find this to be a problem.

We did to want to do the nude portion of the spa. We spent four hours at King Spa. WE checked out all the rooms plus the ICE room. It was so relaxing and I did fall asleep a few times. Upstairs they have the Meditation rooms . Those rooms are the Oxygenated room and an infra red room. On the first floor they have a theater room, a salt room, a gold room, a sun room, a charcoal room, other rooms and a cafeteria area. You can also pay for a massage. Most of the massages were 60 minutes for 120$. I will definitely go back and take my husband there on a date. Love it!

When we went on a weekday night, it wasn't crowded, so it was good. The rooms are interesting and generally relaxing. The spa services are expensive. Like the foot reflexology is more than double the places I've been. My friend did really enjoy her scrub, so if you get a service, they are good. Look, I think it's important to pay people a good wage and I value spa services, but these just seemed high.
