Stopped by on my way home from Lime Rock Park (to Kingston) to quell hunger pangs. Very nice burrito, clean (but small) sitdown and takeout hole in the wall. It's located on the back side of the plaza, so you need to drive around and park on the east side. Lots of choices, freshly made. I had a Michoacan burrito with Al Pastor and french fries. A bargain at $10 total, including a can of (american) soda.

Authentic flavor, nice salsa but very small portions for a Mexican place. Misses the wow, that was awesome factor.

Lava burrito. Description on menu says covered in lots of cheese. You can be the judge.

Like shorts, shirt, dad hat backwards, with a baby car seat and we were welcomed in with open arms *cue Journey*. The tiacolo and tetela were good. The smoked pig and pork belly were delicious too. Got couple glasses of white to wash it down. We had homeboy(server) literally describe everything to us and he was super friendly and chill about it. Honestly this spot is a cool date night spot but also could be a good family outing. As a tourist, I'm glad to have spent the extra dime here because gyyyaaawdamn this part of New York lacks flavor. You would think closer to the farms, would be a bit better, but maybe just the areas we visited were ehh. This was the only spot in Leeds we checked out cuz we were more congregated around Saugerties. Idk the area just tryna spell the context. Everything is like 15-30 away from each other so maybe there's other spots just like this with a bit more cost effectiveness.

Since it was a Sunday, it was brunch time. I ordered the chilaquiles which had tender, flavorful pork/barbacoa. All components were done well, from the crisp chips to the salsa verde. I would have preferred my eggs a bit more runny, but it didn't detract from all the wonderful flavors. I also ordered the concha with cacao and it was softer than any concha I've ever had - which was great. The cacao is subtle but it was definitely there. Service was friendly and timely. I'm definitely a fan and I'd happily stop by again to try more items.

Imagine our surprise that our intended eatery was closed (not that their website stated it) and our second choice was closing for the night (at 8 pm on a Saturday night!) Hugely disappointed, we stopped at the only place along our home area of Route 52 that had lights on. Not only were they opened, but enthusiastically greeted us and promptly brought over menus. The high top tables were excellent for our family member with the cane and the other (me) with a broken leg. The place was decorated for the season, and combined with the colorful Mexican decor was especially festive. We are all a little picky about our drinks, but the bartender happily filled our requests without hesitation. An excellent espresso martini was enjoyed, actually two, by me, and my family loved their drinks as well. We settled on the sampler platter which our waitress assured us would be plenty. She could have easily pressured us to order more, but was honest, professional, polite and friendly. We also enjoyed the chips and salsa. Highly recommend you stopping in, whether it's family dinner or casual date night. PS: it's a a fun family joke that I HATE when servers use the term "No problem". I mean; why WOULD asking for a glass of water be a problem? Our fabulous server frequently acknowledged our requests without hesitation and a cheerful "Of Course!" It left me giddy

The ambiance they created in the restaurant was far above average and my group and I being from Florida found this as a very nice touch. Ah, but go when it's quiet and not only will the service be friendly and attentive, the food will sparkle taste buds and fill the belly. We went for dinner at around 6:30 and an early crowd was on its way out. Our timing was just right. Our drinks and food came promptly. But shortly after our entrees arrived, 3 different families came in one after another in parties of 8, 4, and 4, and they all ordered alcohol, i think margaritas because the guy who had taken our order was no sooner behind the bar filling out drink orders. There was only one other server. But the drinks... Yes to the margarita. Delicious and fresh, not with artificial sour mix but with real citrus. I had lemonade, which was fresh and not too sweet. And the food... yum. The salsa has a little smokiness (chipotle?) which made the chips go down way too fast. I ordered a vegetarian molcajete, a hot mortar bowl filled with rice, beans, and vegetables. I took the leftovers home and had the rest for lunch the next day. It was too big for me to finish at dinner after having the best tostones I think I've ever had at a restaurant. The tostones were perfectly crunchy on the outside and served over a pad of guacamole. The only thing i didn't like about the food were the flour tortillas, which i mostly didn't eat. I react to xanthan gum and guar gum and hence aware when foods contain them. These tortillas were too stretchy to not have one of these additives. But it's hard to get flour tortillas these days without it. (They do exist!) We will definitely be back. I hope they figure out the serving staff situation soon. I would be perfectly happy eating there if we had to order at the counter.
