Solid 3.5 on a good day; I don't feel like rounding today because four is too much! I've been to Avocado Cantina quite a few times for both happy hour and dinner, and it's a good go-to for drinks and a lively atmosphere. The happy hour menu is pretty good. One standout for me is the mac and queso--it's creamy, rich, and genuinely delicious. I know, weird choice for a Mexican restaurant, but it works. We've ordered many pitchers of margaritas, and those usually hit the spot. I've had plenty of their single serve mixed drinks. You might feel a little something something but one or two drinks ain't gon hit. The tacos are mostly good, and the other drinks are fine. One thing I'd skip entirely is the street corn. How they manage to excel at mac and queso but miss the mark there is beyond me. We had a long conversation with Pedro (manager) about that foolishness. They know that mess is nasty, he took off the charge. The place itself has a fun, energetic vibe. The decor is playful, part of the restaurant opens up to the outside, and they also have several outdoor tables, which is nice considering Florida weather is usually fair. Service is hit or miss. They're generally not the friendliest, which is noticeable. Still, overall it's a cool spot for happy hour--good drinks, decent food, and a fun atmosphere if you're looking for somewhere casual to hang out.

Stopped in for Happy Hour and it didn't disappoint. Great setting had me feeling like I was in Mexico. The food was amazing, the server was friendly and even though it was just happy hour the service was top notch.

We came here because our initial reservations for another restaurant were cancelled and honestly I'm so happy that happened! They were PACKED but managed to find us a table for 2! The food was delicious! We ordered the ceviche which was so flavorful with just the right amount of spice! The fries were crispy and seasoned well. I'm totally obsessed with their nachos! The best I've had in a lonnnnggg times were already planning our next visit back. There was live music and I enjoyed that as well. Great vibes!

Huge portions, fun vibes and amazing food! I'm glad we stopped in for dinner during our visit to Palm Beach Gardens, and we were super lucky to snag a table at prime dinner time on a Friday. We started off with guac and goat cheese dip. The goat cheese dip was absolutely the star of the show. Melty, gooey and mixed with chorizo. Perfection! For mains we tried a bunch of things like tacos, enchiladas and quesadillas. Portions were all super generous, and everything comes with a side of rice and beans. The interior is GORG. Love all the vibrant colors and hanging lights. Such a great ambiance. Overall it's a fun pick for delicious Mexican food in a great ambiance.

My friends and I came to avocado Catina for their bottomless mimosas and fun Sunday morning vibes. The weather was beautiful and we sat outside and enjoyed or drinks and brunch under the sun. The waitress was very kind but the service was a bit slow in refilling out drinks for our bottomless deals. However the food was delicious. My avocado toast was so fresh and just what I was needing. My side of Mac and cheese was also super rich and yummy. Will be back!

This looked like such a great place to have a good time with friends. They have a great ambiance both inside and out with a DJ on Saturday starting at 8 and very welcoming staff. The tequila menu is very long and impressive. Mixed drinks turned out just average for us though. Nothing special. But where it really fell flat for us was in the food. The meat for the fajitas lacked flavor and came in very small portions. The beef seemed average in quality. I know it's Palm Beach but, idk, somehow I expected much better. Not recommended.

We stopped here for on a recent weekend getaway. The place was lively and bright. We enjoyed the live music and a tasty entrees. Services was friendly and attentive. We definitely will return We also ordered housemade guacamole for the table. It tasted fresh and creamy The Chicken Fajitas with Rice & Beans were seasoned to perfection.

Solid 3.5 stars! Very cute decor, they also have live music on Fridays! Great happy hour and taco Tuesday deals in food and drinks. It was probably the best fajitas I've ever had, so much flavor! My only gripe is that she asked if I wanted flour or corn tortillas. I didn't know the difference and asked if they could give me 1 of each w my 3 tortillas so I can try. They forget and sent out a separate order of tortillas and charged me $2. Also the sides of guacamole, sour cream and pico are soooo small and there was a $1 upcharge for extra sour cream. I hate when restaurants nickel and dime you to death.

Oh. My. Gosh. Traditional Mexican food full of flavor and culture. The food was outstanding! They had so many different options for anyone with any craving. The service was really nice, they were kicking ass making sure everyone got what they needed even if they weren't in their section. They have both outdoor and indoor seating, with a fun vibrant yet classy and cultural environment. Absolutely love this place and will most definitely be coming back!

Avocado Cantina is an absolute gem in Palm Beach Gardens! The space is colorful and energetic with a trendy and modern look. Great spot for a casual night out or meeting with friends for Happy Hour at the Tequila Bar. Taco Tuesday is a busy night with $5 Tacos. Their tacos are a must - I had the blackened shrimp with avocado and the Chicken Tortilla Soup. Delicious! Lots of selections to choose from on the cocktail menu with a variety of different type of margaritas. The servers are very friendly and the manager checks in with each table to make sure everything is great. Definitely a spot I will be coming back to. If you are in the area and craving modern Mexican with great ambiance, Avocado Cantina is a win.

Everything from the ambiance to the food and even the service was phenomenal. Great dining room area with both an outdoor and indoor bar. We sat with the bartender AB that immediately greeted us with waters and their menu. They are currently running a pick 2 for $15.99 menu that has some pretty great options. We had 2 meals & chose the wings, blackened shrimp po boy with the small gumbo's. Wings were super crispy, juicy, and tender. With a nice light Smokey taste. They buffalo and blue cheese sauce was actually pretty impressive. The po boy had a good amount of shrimp to bread ratio, with a nice sauce included. The gumbo had a deep rich flavor, but was not overly heavy with fatty meats. We were also informed of the happy hour oyster special, so we ended up getting a few of the rockerfella and raw. The rockerfella was amazing with melty cheese, a nice garlic flavor, & served with crispy bread slices. The raw came with crackers, lemon, wine vinegar, and a tasty cocktail sauce. Both were delicious. Marco, the manager came and spoke with us about our experience which really showed the attention to detail this restaurant offers. After sharing our story of visiting New Orleans a few years ago and bragging about the beignets, he brought us 2 out to finish our meal. I have to say, these were better than the ones I've had at cafe beignet in NOLA. They were HOT out the fryer to the point where the powdered sugar was slightly melted. Crisp outside dough but gooey soft in the center. A unreal experience to end a fantastic meal. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Luckily my sister lives 5 mins from this place but I would easily drive a hour or 2 when visiting from out of town just for this experience. Marco and AB really went above and beyond to make sure this was a special outing on a regular ole' Monday, and we could not have left happier.

From the moment we walked in, the welcome was freakin' awesome. The New Orleans vibe was absolutely on point and set the tone for a great meal. Our waitress was fantastic--friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the menu. She recommended her favorite dish, and it ended up becoming my favorite too. Now, I'm a country boy, so the deviled eggs just weren't my style, but everything else more than made up for it. The cornbread was incredible. Honestly, I couldn't decide if I was eating cake or cornbread--it was that good. The barbecue shrimp was outstanding and easily one of my favorite dishes (our waitress clearly has great taste!). The fried oysters were cooked to perfection, and the baked chicken was seasoned and prepared just right. The gator tail was great with the sauce. I've had scalloped potatoes many times over the years, but these were on another level--definitely some for the record books. If you're looking for great food, an authentic New Orleans atmosphere, and excellent service, Voodoo is absolutely worth the visit.

The mushroom cream sauce is amazing and when mixed together with the rice and beans (black is my preference) it creates an awesome flavorful taste profile I've yet to find at another Mexican establishment. My wife and I just ordered it tonight for her birthday as she was craving it. The plantains are also amazing and my kids gobble them up.
