We found this place today looking on yelp for what was nearby when we got hungry for lunch. Super friendly staff, and delicious food! We will definitely be back to try more.

This was a great surprise. Walked in expecting it to be underwhelming and was shocked with how delicious everything was. I ordered a agua de Jamaica (hibiscus tea) and it was delicious. Next we ordered the guacamole and it was so good and fresh. For the entree I ordered tacos 3 ways (steak, birria, al pastor) they were all sooooo good! The staff here is also amazing and treated us so well like we had been there many times when it was our first time there. I will definitely be visiting again soon.

'Twas the best of Taco Tuesdays. It was the worst of Taco Tuesdays. Then it got to be the best again. After seeing the photographs of the food on Yelp, I came looking for a taco truck that does not exist. At least at this location. This is a restaurant. I ordered. The dining room is small, very plain, and needs a little bit of love. Maybe even a cold drinks machine or something that would allow the guests to pick out a dessert or something. I know when you're coming in from the taco truck world that is definitely a big change, but they need something to make that dining room click because right now it's small with tables that are very sticky and not Particularly a nice place to come and sit and eat. Which is a huge shame because the food, the best of times again that we grabbed for takeout was off the hook good. I think we tried all the different kinds of tacos. The meat was excellent. The preparation and cooking were excellent. Even guacamole chips were surprisingly excellent The staff were friendly enough, but it was starting to feel like a bad Abbott and Costello routine every time I kept telling the guy yes regular tacos. All of these are going to be regular tacos. No cheese. Every time he went back and asked me if I wanted cilantro and onions on nine different tacos. That is enough to put anyone's teeth on edge. What part of I told you that all of these upfront are made the same way did we not get. He even read back to me afterwards the entire thing. I hope that his OCD anonymous meeting goes well. Five star food. Definitely worth picking up. Four-star service. Less is more. Two star dining room. Clean the place so it's not sticky. Everywhere. Four up!

Amazing tacos and service! Tacos were top notch! Excellent service! Highly quesabirria tacos! Would come back

These are probably the best chicken tacos I've had in south Florida. The wait time was minimal, and the interaction was pleasant. Delicious food and quiet enough to stay in for a while. I very much enjoyed this visit

    Carne asada burrito

This place was honestly average at best. The location is in a strip mall, which I feel isn't properly located. The inside was quiet and there was only one guy working in there and taking the orders. The food was average. nothing to write home about- it could use some more seasoning. I feel it has a lot of potential though, I may come back for something else. My burrito was a bit cold.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and this place did not disappoint! The service was exceptional, from the moment we walked in, we were greeted and sat. Food came out pretty fast and it was fresh, tasted amazing and filling. We tried the QuesaBirria tacos and the Gordita's with Al Pastor. Literally filled with flavor and ingredients tasted fresh. It was a mouth watering type experience ! Will definitely be back and highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Mexican food.

Three tacos. One chicken two Carne Asada.

This was my first visit. I saw the great reviews on Yelp and decided to place an online order. When I arrived, it was not yet ready and it looked like they had just started it. Employees could have been a little more welcoming. I ordered one chicken taco and two Carne Asada tacos. First bite of the chicken taco was not very impressive. The chicken itself lacked flavor or maybe it was just a little low in salt. I added some lime juice and drenched it in the green sauce, likely tomatillo salsa. That sauce was delicious. The carne asada tacos had way more flavor and were very good.

Would not have had an issue with the forty minute wait for a table but they did not have a bar inside to hang out or a patio area to have drinks. We had to go next door to another restaurant with our buzzer to have drinks while we waited. Finally got a table and service was quick. A few people had giant margaritas. A basket of chips and salsa were brought to the table complimentary which was great. Ordered the triple enchiladas with beans and rice. It was excellent and filling for only $19.99 - well its what it said on the menu even pointing to it on the menu to show the server, who said its large and ordered often. Finished eating a great meal and got the bill where everything went south quickly. Noticed $6.00 additional for the two enchilada orders, so $12.00 extra. I went over the bill with another server since ours disappeared but she could not explain the additional charge. I requested a manager and a guy came by and was shown the receipt and began reading the enchilada section on the menu and seemed confused. Three enchiladas for $19.99 then a smaller section on the left side where there is an added $2.00 for each enchilada. After few minutes, he tried to explain the upcharge and appeared more uncertain of the upcharge intent than everyone at our table. At this point, the menu was still not clear and weirdly difficult to understand the upcharges. Not even an apology or partial waiver or anything. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth and unfortunately it was a great atmosphere and tasty meal. We all left defeated and confused. This issue directly caused a steep drop from 5 stars to an average 3.5 stars, which could have been easily avoided. Please make adjustments to your menu for easier navigation - Thanks.

So that was a nice surprise! Then the people started flooding the place! Glad we got there early haha The margaritas.... wow. We tried a few different ones and they were all so amazing! The most unexpected and unique one was the spicy avocado one - don't knock it, till you try it! Made with fresh avocados, it was like a delicious tequila smoothie almost. SO good. I also tried the Guava Habanero (available for happy hour), delicious! My husband ordered a few spicy margaritas to his taste, they can make them as spicy as you'd like! Then from the happy hour menu, we got a chicken quesadilla and a carnitas taco. Both yummy! Really enjoyed the quesadilla! The chips actually came out warm, and the guac was solid. * The Drinks: My margarita was ice-cold and hit the spot. * The Mains: We went all in on the mains: a burrito, the pork belly tacos, and a combo plate with chorizo and carnitas tacos. The service was a little on the slower side, but since the food was good and the vibe was relaxed, we didn't mind too much. It was a great meal overall--definitely a spot we'd drop back into if we're in the area again!

I will say they could use a little better lighting, as the place does look a bit dated, but maybe that's the look they're going for. I've heard this restaurant has been here for about two years, and somehow we didn't know about it until a few weeks ago. Onto the main dishes! I had the Vaca Frita with white rice, black beans, and maduros, and everything was packed with great flavor. My wife had the Birria Tacos, and she said they were excellent. Of course, I had to try the consomme and what a mistake... because now I'm hooked line and sinker. It was so packed with flavor that I even started dipping my Vaca Frita in it. This is definitely a hole-in-the-wall kind of place, and I mean that in the best possible way. Don't miss out on it! We ended up sitting at a high top and our waitress suggested that I try either carne asada from the Mexican menu or Vaca Frita from the Cuban menu. I love me some carne asada but I was intrigued but this 'fried shredded beef' that was marinated in mole and cooked in a hot skillet until crispy. She suggested sweet plantains to go with it and white rice with beans which is traditional Cuban (instead of yellow rice). IT WAS FABULOUS! It was crispy on the outside and juicy. The mole was flavorful but not spicy and i appreciated that the meat was not dripping in sauce. My dinner date ordered chicken tamales which were seasoned in a Cuban style with yellow rice. She is used to Mexican tamales but said these really hit the spot! The only blemish on the nice was her second margarita which was the cucumber one which she didn't like at all. However, the first one she ordered (pictured) which was a different flavor was a show stopper.
