It was clean and organized, the staff was helpful and there was a much larger selection of items. I would definitely come back again but I recommend getting there early if you wear a popular size as things do run out. I was on my way up to Plano yesterday for a happy hour at Ringo's and I hated what I was wearing. I needed a new shirt ASAP and I only had 10 minutes to find one. A girlfriend recommended Melanie Gayle and I went in with the real expectation that I just may not find something I like. I was wrong! Way wrong! The two girls working were entirely too sweet and super duper helpful. I told them of my dilemma, and they started pulling shirts left and right and throwing them into the cute changing room. I tried on about 8 different shirts - and I'm not even kidding - I wanted to buy all 8 of them. I've *never* found stuff like this in other boutiques! They carried dresses, pants, skirts, party tops and all kinds of other things. I think I spotted accessories somewhere, but I was in such a rush I didn't really take time to notice them. And the best part? I got 15% off if I spent less than $100, and 20% if I spent $100 plus. Now I'm no mathematician and I *know* that's just a marketing ploy to get you to spend more, but it just so happened that I couldn't decide between two shirts so I bought them both. So I got my 20%. I promptly changed into the new shirt while one of the girls rang me up - all I did was run up and sign the receipt and everything was already wrapped up nicely to go, including my old shirt. Thank goodness there's another location in Snider Plaza that I'll be visiting frequently, because I would so be going to Plano more often for Melanie Gayle.

This review is not about the employees. Everyone I interacted with was polite and professional. My…read moreissue is with a fitting room policy that makes absolutely no sense from a customer's perspective. I walked into the fitting room area with three shirts. The employee counted them which is completely reasonable. Then I was told I could not enter because they were not on hangers. I explained that I picked them up from the sales floor without hangers and asked for three hangers. They gave them to me but then told me I still had to place every shirt back onto the rack outside the fitting room before I could go in. So I had to hang the shirts on the rack outside the dressing room just so I could walk inside and immediately remove them again. There was no purpose to it other than creating extra work and slowing the process down. As I was leaving I watched another customer get stopped because she had not rehung her clothing before exiting. Customers are now expected to do work that fitting room attendants have always handled. Retail stores are competing with online shopping where convenience is everything. Policies like this make the in store experience slower more frustrating and less enjoyable. I hope someone at the corporate level reevaluates whether this policy is actually helping anyone because from a customer's perspective it only creates unnecessary inconvenience.
