From the moment I first spoke to Alberto, he was attentive to my needs for a 25 year old engineered wood floor we inheritated with our recently purchased home. This floor was the only "thorn in my side" as it just didn't look good with anything I tried. We decided to do a thorough cleaning. Once cleaned of the 25 year build up, there were many small scratches and some faded spots from the sun. He then did a light screening and recoating with some water based polyurethane. Wow, the floors look so smooth, all scrathes filled in and now invisible, and with a brilliant shine from the satin finish. I now love my old "new" wood floors. I would recommend AVS Carpet Cleaning. Our carpet had several large spills, sporadic dirt stains everywhere but especially in the high trafficked areas near the entry door and garage hallway. We even had dark spots that looked like mold, and one particular room that had all the above conditions but 10x worse. I've had carpets cleaned many times and thisn as one of the worse. Granted he beige carpet had stains and traffic patterns but and knew it wouldn't be perfect. But after it dried it appeared no better than before. I took canned carpet cleaner and took out stains easily. He pretreated but didn't work. He wore headphones and whole time and was hard to get his attention. We rented a Rug Doctor and for half of what he charged, we got them cleaned much better. Second. He canceled two prior appts we made due to employees not showing or over booking. I texted him the number of rooms, etc. I gave him an honest expectation of the area to be cleaned. He gave me an honest quote. No change. He came and was very pleasant, professional, friendly and accommodating. My schedule was very busy so we had to juggle the time a bit. I met him at my place but I could not stay, so I paid him and left. Normally, I would never ever pay a person in advance. But, I could tell he was honorable and was going to provide quality work. Incidentally, he is a little more expensive than the cheapest I could find, but I choose to take a chance that he would provide better service and he did. He was able to reach my 3rd story apartment with extra hoses connected to his truck mounted system, unlike other places I called who only had portable units.
