Took both of my vehicles ( 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 and 2012 Honda Civic ) in for new car stereos. I was given a price for (2) JVC stereos, steering control switches and dash kits. After setting up appointment Abe was not able to get one of the stereo so he decided to upgrade and the price did not change. The installation was fast and professional on both vehicles. I called in to see if they had availability for an oil change. They answered the phone and right away asked if I could be put on hold, they didn't even let me answer before continuing their conversation with someone else. Throughout their conversation they were cussing like a sailor talking about investments and selling homes and whatever other nonsense they were talking about. Then when they finally picked up the phone I told (her, I think) that they have really crappy customer service and she should not be cussing like that in a business environment. And she stated she wasn't talking to me. It doesn't matter who you are talking to you! I called a business act like a business!!! orrible service. Went for a cheap basic alarm that cost $173. They messed with the turn signals and hazard lights. I had to go back 3 times for them to fix them. Claimed my switch was bad but it turned out a fuse was put on incorrectly by them a d tried to blame me. Additionally my pickup makes a loud noise when accelerating after they put their hands on it. The service oil light blinks now as well. They refused to look into that and gave the run-around claiming there's no mechanic when there was several. They left wire clippings as well. I went to AVS 1st, then checked around at a few other places, but ended up coming back to AVS to have them do the work. They quoted me the cheapest price to reinstall a system that i had in another car and included the cost and installation of a new set of JL Audio C-2650 components, which were selling for $250 online. Great place for all of your automotive needs. I contacted the place because of the pricing that they offered which was much better than all other comparables I have received. I was looking for some sound reduction for my GTR in this place offered the best options. They had the material in stock and installed it in the same day. It took about 3 hours to complete but they offered a vehicle for me to use in the meantime. Service was excellent. Only issue I had was that I was told it would reduce the sound of the exhaust by about 20 to 30% but when finished there was no noticeable difference in sound reduction. They seem to be very well-equipped for anything audio and alarm related and with the pricing I was offered I would be back for other needs as well. read more

These guys are crooks. I had my car window tinted and the the following week had bubbles on all 5 windows. I went on a Sunday to exercise my warranty and the front desk guy told me to come on Tuesday morning because Sunday's are for appointments. I came back on Tuesday at 11 am and he told me that their busy and to come back another day. I took a look at the area where they do the tinting and there are no cars. Then he decided to tell me that they only do warranty tints on Tuesday at 9 am. These are very bad people and I don not recommend anyone coming here. read more

I came here to see if i can solve my idle problem for my car. Left it there for a whole day for no reason. Came back to see what was wrong and they didn't even bother about the idle problem. They started telling me I needed a new clutch and all this mumbo jumbo (after recently replacing the clutch a couple of months before). So I ask if they found out why my car had a poor idle on start up and they tell me that they didn't check to find out why that was happening. That it wasn't a problem. Then the rude manager comes out and tells the mechanic (which i had no problem with because nobody had told him about the idle problem) yelling angrily "WHY IS THIS CAR STILL HERE?" The mechanic baffled at the remark because i was still there and he was saying that in front of me. He explained the problem and that he was going to keep it there to find out the problem. The manager responds "If you cant find the problem we cant service it" and made me drive my car back home to find out my throttle cable was almost ripped. Could have took the poor uninformed mechanic a couple of minutes to notice that but the rude ass manager kicked me out. This place seriously needs better management. Rude as hell. Not coming back again. If i could give this place a zero star i would. read more

Installation took a little longer than they said (was told 60 minutes but it was actually almost 2 hours) but that's because while there they gave me a great deal on a JL Audio sub with amplifier and installed it as well. Would highly recommend them. Update: Unit I brought in yesterday was defective. Called them up this morning. They told me to come right in and helped me pick out a new unit. These guys are awesome! A family friend recommended them and I'm glad they did. I called in regarding an aftermarket radio I wanted, there was a Cyber-Monday deal and I wanted to know the installation cost if I brought it to them. I talked to Abe and explained my situation, he then explained that even though the radio was good deal online there was still a lot I needed to buy if I wanted to have it installed like the wiring harness and etc. Sensing my reservation he matched the online price and gave me a great deal on the labor. They told me how it would be installed and what they would do to the car, they gave me advice on how it would sound on different areas of the car. Went in to get a head unit and 4 speakers installed in my Silverado extended cab and forgot the driver side rear door was broken and wouldn't open. Moe the shop manager, waived the fee for opening the door to install the speaker. While the installer was in working on the speaker, he had him replace the clips that were broken that had prevented the door from function properly and again he waived the fee. I researched many audio installation shops and came upon AVS and later came to decide upon them. They continued to have page after page of good reviews from a range of auto services they provide.
