Unfortunately, I was in an accident in a loaner vehicle from the dealership and that is stressful in itself. From initial tow to final repair, everyone who touched my case was extremely professional, courteous and efficient. Because my case involved a loaner, it was a little special in handling with the insurance company; however, Tom (manager) made sure that everything was taken care of. Even when the insurance company (USAA) did not want to cover "new" parts for the repair (because it happened on the 1st day of the year (2026) and they said the car was not new) - the loaner had less than 700 miles and was a 2025. He called repeatedly to see if USAA would cover the cost and when they finally said "hard no". He gave me a discount on the difference in cost (what the insurance paid); as well as, wrote a detailed letter (with backup documentation), so I could send to USAA management to still try and get reimbursed. This is the type of repair service you want, especially when dealing with insurance companies. Someone who will fight for, repair the vehicle (right) and not overcharge you (even give a discount). I had an absolutely horrendous experience with AW Collision Center. I chose them initially because I thought they were a reliable shop, but it was a disaster from start to finish. While there was communication, it was completely unproductive. They fought back and forth with the insurance company, but they refused to resolve the problem. We paid our deductible, expecting them to finalize the claim, but instead, it dragged on for two months. When we finally got the car back, they were condescending and disrespectful. Not only did the process take far too long, but they also damaged the car further--fuses were blown, the interior lighting stopped working, and one of the tail-lights was ruined, costing us even more. They never took responsibility or offered to fix it. This was a disgraceful experience--I would never recommend AW Collision Center to anyone. Stay far away. read more

We had a 2023 Kia niro EV taken to this shop for a small rear end hit from behind (no internal damage) all cosmetic... our vehicle has sat in this shop for 2 MONTHS because they decided to fraudulently add parts and things the vehicle did not need which prompted our insurance USAA to open an investigation to this bodyshop of which they concluded that they were being grimy and they sent an adjuster physically to account for things. USAA has had similar issues with these thieves in the past. AW collision wanted to make false statements saying that I'd pay $3,000 out of my pocket for the supplements of which they have the audacity to say I accepted to. 8 WEEKS the vehicle has been sitting here. We are lawyering up Also how do they charge transportation fees when my vehicle while in the shop has gained over 200 miles on ODO. Well, four years after my last review, my Cadillac XTS sustained damage to the front bumper again (this time on the passenger side) after I was unsuccessful in avoiding a small isolated traffic cone that suddenly appeared in view on the edge of a freeway center lane as I was driving at night at 65 m.p.h. in an area where no road repairs were announced or taking place. I heard some commotion under the car after the cone was struck, but didn't think much about it until I got home and inspected the front of the car. To my chagrin a yellow reflector had popped up, and a parking light had been dislodged and broken from its mount, even though the light still worked. The initial repair estimate was around $1,500, with the caveat that there could be some additional hidden damage not observable until the front bumper was removed. And, sure enough, after bringing in the car for repairs, a few days later I received the dreaded call that the loose reflector and front bumper also needed to be replaced and painted because one or more tabs that held the bumper in place had broken. So, the cost to complete repairs had gone up another $1,000. I of course authorized these additional repairs, because there really was no other option--only to get another call after completion of all work that a post-diagnostic test had revealed several codes that could only be reset by Cadillac. So, Diane drove me to AW Collision to pay for and pick up the car, and I drove the XTS a few miles and dropped it off at Cadillac of Las Vegas West by pre-arrangement. Fortunately for me, nothing further was found that needed attention except clearing codes that had appeared after sensors detected body parts being necessarily detached during the repair process. I got the car back the next day after paying the Cadillac dealership for only 1 hour of labor. When I received my ailing car back from AW Collision it looked brand new, having been taken apart and adroitly put back together, washed, waxed, and nicely detailed. And it is running perfectly with no problems. Although unexpected from a brief tangle between a tire and a small traffic cone, the extent and cost of necessary repairs are what they are. The work performed was skillfully done. My only gripe is that the inside of the trunk was a mess, with items such as cushions from the front and back seat having been haphazardly tossed in there, and other articles moved around from where they had been when I initially dropped off the vehicle for repairs. read more

04/29: $1K cosmetic claim became more than $6.5K after many supplementals were requested by Mr. Thomas. But as he said, "we even did some borderline work for a better result." What really bothered me is that my car was ready and the shop wouldn't even contact me to provide a status. I called several times until Mr. Thomas was available. After talking with my insurance and asking my representative to go talk with the shop and resolve anything they needed to resolve to give me my vehicle, Mr. Thomas refused to talk with her due to "having many hands on the file." That costed me more money in the long run ($603.53 in additional car rental past my 30 days in policy) and just to stop loosing money, I paid the "supplemental" refining and paint job ($665.56) plus my deductible of $500 (the only amount I should have paid). I gave a letter to the manager Mr. Shawn, hoping to look further into the issue. Mazda dealer will inspect work done in car, including paint matching job. Will update with results. 05/10 UPDATE: Updated review from 1 star to 3 stars since Mr. Shawn reached out to me. He was able to provide me a refund on the $500 deductible, bringing the total loss from $1,769.09 to $1,269.09 (out of pocket) I'm not very satisfied, but maybe there's limits to what can be done. AW Collision had my V for 30 days and when I got it back there was more damage to car then when I took it to them, the right rear quarter panel had a dent from a fender bender and back wheel had some scratches reason I needed a body shop. Cadillac of las vegas referred me to AW Collision, I got car back 30 days later the wheel that had scratches now is a completely different color then the other 3 glossy black wheels the one they "fixed" is charcoal gray my blind grandma could see the difference there are 3 big paint chips on driver side of car that definitely wasn't there when I dropped it off the trunk has a bunch of dull spots on it that wasn't there over spray paint all over and dust from them sanding i guess all over my sears, the paint on my 2018 V was in pristine condition how could these guys return my car back to me like this so unacceptable!. Talked to Sean whoever he is he says bring it back in so we can look at it and fix it. I met a fantastic estimator Che Rios. He was wonderful to work with. Instead of bombarding me with questions he asked me if I was okay from the accident.. of course I broke down crying but he was there to remind me that accidents happen. So I got into my first accident... My insurance and car dealership had recommended AW Collision for all of my needs during this scary and frustrating process and I am glad that they did! AW does work with most insurance, I believe, so this was mostly a sit and look pretty type of experience. Their facility is pretty large but their entrance is a little hidden and can be missed if not paying attention. Luckily they caught my attention as I was admittedly pretty lost and confused. Michael, behind the counter, was my main point of contact and had helped tremendously in making me feel comfortable throughout this journey. Michael and team had kept me in the loop whenever I had any annoying questions and was something I greatly appreciated. They even provided the service of calling a rental car place to pick me up. The whole ordeal did take longer than I was hoping but it is the fault of the overall car part shortage at this time and I do not blame them at all for this inconvenience. This was something that i wanted to add for future customers to be aware of. Unfortunately my car was totaled. I was able to come back in and pick up my items that were left inside. I was even asked if I wanted some time to morn which I did. I had many good years with that car and was the first one I paid off as well. Every accident is unique in how the procedure takes place.
