Recently I bought a used Jeep. Didnt know that there was a corrosion issue with the steel hinges and the aluminum doors. It causes some bubbling and paint lifting due to the elements and reaction between the metals. Jeep has a 5 year warranty for the body and once approved the local Jeep only shop took care of me and they have a relationship with AW Collsion. I was happy to have this addressed. When I got the jeep back the color of the hinges and doors were slightly off. My vin paint code was not correct to my actual paint on the jeep. It's grey. So we all know there are 50 different shades of grey. I was put in touch with Shawn the owner of AW Collision. He called me back and wanted to see the jeep and learn all about my issue. He was very accommodating and picked up the jeep from the dealership and called me back that he would repaint the doors and make everything right. He was able to see the slight shade difference, which could have been also from paint fade over time too. The jeep is 4 years old. Either way he got right on it and wanted a customer to be happy with the workmanship and he stood behind the work. He even was willing to do a few areas of touch up that I requested since the jeep was going to be there a few more days. Long story short. The shop did excellent and quality work. They had amazing customer service. They went out of their way to communicate and resolve any issues that I may have had. Sometimes things happen and the results are not always right the first time due to one reason or the other. Shawn. Made sure that by the end of the day or experience he was going to make sure that I was going to be happy with the results. This quality is rare and I wanted to do this review for this reason. Although the staff is friendly and the repair is solid, the communication was lacking. Over the 4 weeks my car was here, every update came from me calling. I had to extend my rental 3 times due to the wrong completion date being given. To top it off, my car was obviously used during that time and returned to me dirty. I came across AW Collision by chance from another matter. As it turns out, right place right time. I had an issue with the paint on the hood of my BMW 535. When I came across Shawn the owner I explained the problem to him. And actually showed him photos as I was trying to get it repaired at other locations and showed them the problem as well. All the other businesses and I'm not going to name them but they gave me OUTRAGEOUS quotes and time lines. Shawn gave me an excellent quote just by looking at it and stated whenever you ready call. He will bring it right in. I called on a Monday and he said bring it in Tuesday. I did. He said he would need it two days and he called Thursday evening. Picked up the car and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED. Came in with a broken blinker and busted bumper/hood from a pole that literally jumped out in front of me from the wind and oncoming traffic. Michael was very accommodating and brought me some coffee while I waited for my estimate. Vince completed my estimate and was able to repair my blinker and protruding bumper on the spot! I brought my car here several years ago when they replaced my passenger side doors after someone wrecked into me and haven't been to any other vehicle repair business since. ZERO STARS!!!!! Bad business practices. Bad customer service. The paint is the wrong color and the fit is terrible. (I had a TINY spot on the back tailgate where someone hit me.) It looks like a bad job from high school shop class. It needs to be completely re-done but I do not trust them. Now because they are not AAA certified, I have to go somewhere else to have them re-do everything to the tune of $5000-$10000 out of my pocket. They also damaged my front bumper - ran into something - but because it is almost invisible they did not say anything. Another $2500. My car went to the dealer on Thursday for calibration. The dealer called them Monday to say it was ready but they gave me the runaround til late Wednesday afternoon when I called the dealer myself to chase it down. They bad- mouthed my insurance adjuster and appraiser every time I talked to them. They tried to charge me for their mistake - they forgot to plug in the wiring harness for the rear bumper so the dealer had to drop the bumper to calibrate - and charge A&W. So they tried to upcharge me. So many things that sucked bad about the experience. Nothing good. DO NOT USE AW COLLISION!!! They are horrible. read more

UPDATE: (7/23/2020) A few days after posting my original review, the owner Ozzie personally called me and offered for me to bring my car in to have the issue looked at again. While my car was in the shop, they paid for a rental car out of their own expense. They touched up the paint on the inside of my driver side door, and it also turned out that the wind noise wasn't even their fault - it was an issue from Honda with their side mirrors not being sealed properly. The first thing I want to stay about this place is that this is where car dealerships take their cars to get detailed. So right there shows you're in good hands. I was rear ended and then back of my car got super messed up. This place did such an amazing job fixing everything. Tanya Valencia, the manager and my new best friend, kept me updated with everything that was going on. When I was rear ended, the frame of the bumper got dented and pushed my frame in. $5100 worth of damage total! Tanya called me and emailed me pictures of everything that was going on. I was even able to swing by after they had taken the bumper off to take additional pictures for my lawyer. My car was in the shop for about 3 weeks total because they had to wait for parts from Kia. No complaints there, but I'm happy to say my car is back to factory condition. This place is so awesome. I have a green Kia Soul, green tea latte to be exact. I've been told this is the hardest color to match when being painted but they did it perfectly. My car looks better than it did when I got it from the dealership! They even cleaned it inside and out! Tanya is incredible. When I had first came in to drop off my car, I told her what had happened with the accident I was in. She had gone through something similar and told me what she did about it and who she got for an attorney. She didn't have to do that, but it made me happy she went the extra mile and gave me that advice. If your car has a boo boo, you definitely need to take it here!!! read more

Do not bring your car to this place for any reason unless you want to be lied to and disrespected from an auto repair shop, while having to constantly call them and your insurance company multiple times a day several days a week for anything to get done. My car was involved in a slight accident with the car in front of me on August 28. I contacted the Honda Dealership immediately thereafter and the woman at the front desk (not the repairs division) of Honda on W Sahara Road recommended AW Collision. I proceeded to contact AW Collision at the accident scene and a sales person informed me, with just a description over the phone, that it would take about 3 weeks to complete the repairs to my car due to a shortage of parts. Since that was their selling point and it was a good turn around time, I agreed to have my car towed to their location which took the towing company until later that night. Unfortunately, that was a very bad idea and I underwent 6 1/2 weeks of; lies, disrespect, and false information about when the car would actually be finished. In addition, AW Collision extorted over $10,000 from my insurance company that led to many supplements and negotiations plus my $500 deductible for my Civic over a prolonged 6 1/2 weeks instead of 3 weeks. I contacted on the phone Ivan, "Mr. Motor", of who was supposed to be handling the claim, except he didn't really answer my calls and wouldn't return my phone calls until days later and at random times. When I became frustrated with the shop not providing me with honest updates about my car, I physically went down there and spoke with Chelsea, of whom, wanted me to put pressure on my insurance claims adjuster to pay for a new supplement of over $6000 to AW Collision. I explained to her that was her job and that my insurance company wasn't going to pay that much money because it is a Civic and they had already asked my insurance company for money initially the final week in August. Nevertheless, she persisted and I spent time on a daily basis calling my insurance company to have them send over the check to AW Collision. Only, after a week of many calls to the Insurance Claims Adjuster Boss, did he approve of the payment on October 7. Basically, six weeks after I had the car towed to AW collision. It turned out that wasn't enough for AW Collision because they sent the car to Honda West to have them work on; the brakes, seatbelts, and reconfigure the car. According to A&W Collision's manager, Sean, the car was actually dropped off at Honda West at the beginning of October and that they needed to order the parts for it to be completely repaired. Well, the Repair Manager at Honda West, Dave, informed me on October 10 that the car was finally completed and they had sent a $3000 invoice to AW Collision, so that my insurance company would have to pay another bill in order for myself to receive the car. Dave also told me that AW Collision could pick up the car on October 10 and take it back to their repair shop for detailing and to give me back the car. So, I called on October 11 and spoke with Michael several times of whom constantly gave estimated returns of the car back to me within a couple days of my calls for weeks. Anyway, he informed me on Tuesday that the car was ready from Honda West and that AW Collision would obtain the car, he just wouldn't say when because he didn't know when my insurance company would pay for the $3000 Honda West invoice. At that point, I spoke with my Dad whom is not in good physical health and he wrote a negative review of AW collision. Within hours of that review, Sean from AW Collision called me and miracously, my car was finally ready after 6 1/2 weeks. This was just an absolute nightmare of endless calls to AW Collision, my insurance company, and Honda West. AW Collision needs to be upfront about when they can realistically repair a car when a potential customer calls in due to an accident or otherwise. Making false promises to draw in clients and providing myself with; consistent lies, disrespect, and deceipt, while extorting money from my insurance company of a total amount $10,500 to repair a old civic, is very unprofessional and was very time consuming and egregious for me. I hope they change their way of doing business to attract clients going forward. read more

Terrible place. Be careful. I went there due to stellar reviews on Yelp and very nearly got scammed. They tried to convert a simple cosmetic fix into a monster job unnecessarily and scare me into paying them a lot of money. Gave a totally false assessment of what was needed. As another reviewer mentioned, these people lie constantly and cannot be trusted - at least, that was my one-time experience. Thankfully I resisted their pressures and took the car to another shop, who fixed the problem in half an hour and graciously did not even charge me for it, as it was so minor. Highly recommend AW Collision! Over the years I've taken my van here twice. The first time a bed cart hit the side of my van during a windstorm and caused some pretty good damage. Shawn and his team made it look brand spanking new! The second time my wheel kept making a popping noise while turning. I took it to Honda under warranty 6-7 times! Each time they'd replace a part and say it's fixed. 8 months later still can't figure out the problem. Finally took it to AW collision and they found the issue right away! Aw collision is the absolute WORST business I've ever dealt with!!! Shockingly I was referred there by Cadillac dealership on Sahara. My first experience was a small dent in my bumper from a hit and run. Was told it would only take 2 weeks max to fix,so I agreed. After numerous times of calling for updates my car was finally done TWO MONTHS later! Not even 3 months after the repair my bumper was falling off on both sides. Called and told them, they said it will take a week to fix. Didn't get the chance to take it to be repaired and ended up accidentally side swiping a wall. Damage was from back passenger door to the back of the car. So I decided to give them another try since they still needed to fix their mistake on my bumper. Was told multiple times my car would for sure be done in two weeks. Two weeks later I call and check and was told that they have fixed most of the car(which was a lie all they did was take my car apart) but found more damage and they're just waiting for my ins to approve additional cost. Because Aw GREEDY ask was 17,000 my ins. Company totaled my car. My car was a very nice well takin care of low mileage Cadillac. When I went to retrieve my belongings from my car the bumper was off thrown into the back of my car, all scratched up,door handles taken off,windows were gone, inside of the doors were all takin apart. Everything was takin apart for no reason at all. Wishing this nightmare was over Aw collision made it even worse because they wouldn't release the vehicle to my ins company because they say my insurance is required to pay them a "restocking fee for parts" but refuse to tell my insurance company for weeks how much they owe for that ridiculous fee. They ended up charging my ins. Company 5,400. So Aw collision kept my car for another 2-3 weeks so they can rack up daily storage fee also. The whole experience was a nightmare!! At first Kyle was nice but when I dropped off the car the receptionist was a fake nice she got mad at my for setting down my garage opener on her desk so she smacked it off and rudely said sorry. After I was told my car was totaled I was told to call aw and release my vehicle to ins. Company when I called the rude receptionist rudely told me not to call them again and hung up on me. I got into an accident and took my car to AW collision because they are a dealer certified collision repair center. I got an original estimate of the damage from an estimator. When I took it here Theresa realized there was more extensive damage than even myself or the estimator had noticed. She was very helpful. She kept in contact during the 3 week period my car was in the shop. She arranged for enterprise to pick me up and drop me off. Overall service was fantastic.
