So this is a response to the business owner, YOU DONT have any evidence saying a check engine light was on BEFORE the car being brought in, ZERO. In fact, we fought this and because there was no proof, you guys agreed to pay for the car to be sent to Toyota and be fixed. Which we were grateful for but then we got the vehicle back with scratches all over the soft top of our convertible that were not there before. It's very disgusting to be taken advantage of in such a way. We did a BBB report and called our insurance company to let them know everything that happened and they need to be careful who they contract with. There are many complaints similar to this. A car brought in due to body damage and the engine damage is over looked. Instead of fighting your customers when they catch it (everyone makes mistakes) Just say, hey- my bad- sorry- we'll get this taken care of. It's that easy. I'm not pissed at the mistakes, I'm pissed at trying to make us look like we don't know what we are talking about when we catch an issue. Some drunk hit my brand new Tesla model y and left a significant dent in my rear right passenger door. The wheel was also damaged. The Tesla approved body shop quoted 4K Patrick came up with a much better offer under 3k with full door and the wheel replacement. Very good and detailed workmanship. It looks like new. These guys fixed my car after I was rear-ended, so I won't be speaking to their pricing as it was completely paid for by the other person's insurance (they are Progressive's preferred shop) and I didn't bat an eye that it was just over $3k in damages. My trunk was warped pretty badly, and my bumper was cracked (photo). They elected to replace both the bumper (plastic, so couldn't be repaired) and the trunk, which I was in full agreement with. They were relatively fast (about 2.5 weeks), but not very communicative. They quote you the worst case scenario timeline, but never called me to update that timeline once they had a better idea until I called them first. Pretty standard, and I was in a rental car, so didn't mind too much. My biggest issue with them came when I went to pick up my car. The front desk staff pulled it around front, handed me my keys and said I was good to go. When I got in, my car wouldn't start. Someone came out, jumped my car, and told me my battery was in bad health. I explained to him that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car when I dropped it off - it's a 2018 and I've had it for less than a year - but he insisted that the battery was already bad. Maybe it was. I'll never know for sure, but the way I was treated was less than professional. My car was also COMPLETELY out of gas (I had dropped it off with over a 1/4 tank). I told him this and he gave me a $20 for gas and told me the nearest station was down the street and that they had left it running to charge the battery and it ran out of gas. I just wish this would've been communicated with me beforehand so that I could have allotted better time on my way to work to pick my car up. Also, they had to have kept it running for quite a long time for it to run out of gas, much longer than it would take to charge the battery. Overall, they fixed my car, and it looks good as new, but I was less than impressed with their customer service. They made it very clear to me that they did not care how I left their shop once their body job was done, and I did not like that nor how I was spoken to about the issues by their mechanic. My adjuster, Anthony, seemed friendly, and gave me a call after I left the shop to tell me not to shut my car off while I got gas as it wouldn't start back up. I kept it running for about 30 minutes, but then had to go into work. When I came out of work about 2.5 hours later, my car wouldn't start and I had to call AAA to come replace my battery (cost me $230). Like I said, I'll never know if my battery was bad when I arrived, but I do know that they did not care at all how I left or what happened after. read more

I don't normally write reviews but I felt like I had to for this. This shop doesn't have many reviews but the work they did was great. I came in with a popped out fender and a cracked bumper panel. I bought the parts I needed (or thought I needed) through Hyundai and brought them to this shop to have the parts mounted and painted if need be. An hour after I had dropped my car off, I got a call from Patrick saying that I didn't need all the parts I bought and that they recommend returning them to Hyundai. He redid my estimate and it cut the cost down about $500! I didn't feel like they were cheating me out of my money and they did honest work. This is a "Progressive Preferred Shop".... apparently what that means is if the other person is at fault and they're with progressive they're only going to fix the visual issues and you're fucked on the rest of it. I didn't even get 1 street over and a whole ass piece of my car fell off. I was literally dragging my extra tire well along the road. The damage they "fixed" was from being rear ended... and that was hanging from the back of my car. I'm now standing here watching them figure out how to fix it. Apology? Nope. Of course not. And now I'm wondering... if that was just hanging there... how did they actually check out the rear suspension etc? I guess it's on them now if I drive away and something is wrong with it. Got into an accident with someone on the freeway.. what a bummer right? Traded insurance and got about my day. Was sent over to Southwest Autobody because the accident wasn't my fault and they picked where to get my vehicle fixed. I have a your typical mom car (VW Jetta). When I first arrived I was greeted by a stunning woman named Mayerlyn. She got my info and got me ready to accept a rental before I could even get a full sentence out. She told me they would reach out to me once my vehicle was done. They gave me a brand new vehicle with basically no miles and once again, went about my day. So here's the sticky part, they have been reaching out to me but for some reason, I didn't get any calls or messages. Mayerlyn once again did her due diligence and reached out to me on her personal number (the first time I didn't have to ask a girl for her number, looking pretty good for me). She texted me letting me know my vehicle was done but they are only covering until last Friday (Today is the following Monday). I was a little upset because I was going to have to pay for a car I didn't want in the first place and I'm not saying I'm poor, but I'm a baller on a budget. Once I arrived at SWA I was greeted by Mayerlyn again and the owner of the establishment. After a small chat he let me off without paying for the rental and also they fixed the dents on my vehicle that the insurance wasn't covering (small dents by my gas tank). Honestly, this was one of the best experiences I've had and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them in the future for my needs. The place is inviting and clean. I had some work recently done on my Forester after I had been in an accident. 2 tires, 3 rims, 2 control arms, 2 wheel bearings, and an alignment later, and SW auto body had me back up and running. They were originally recommended by Progressive, and I had a few qualms at first. I originally wanted to go to a different location, but after taking a look online I decided to give them a try. Boy am I glad I did! After going in, and speaking with them, I immediately felt at ease. From the moment I walked in, to getting my rental from enterprise, and then finally getting my vehicle back a week later, SW auto body made everything a breeze. Even after getting my vehicle back from them, and having to get something additionally done, they make you feel like your time is valued, and you have known them for years. The way they call you for updates, and get the work done the right way, and promptly, completely put me at ease. I am not a very trusting person when it comes to auto mechanics or body work, but I have 0 reservations when it comes to SW auto body. I'm now back on the road, with the peace of mind, knowing that if I ever need some major body work done(hopefully not) that there is a reliable and reputable shop that I can go to locally.
