Honestly! I am always a little scared to try new spots at first but love the thrill and adventure. I stopped by 5th Ave Bagels in Yorba Linda on a rainy morning and it completely brightened my day! The service was genuinely superb! It was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful from the moment I walked in. I ordered the salmon bagel sandwich with capers and sprouts, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly balanced. You can tell they take pride in their ingredients. I also tried their oat milk sugar-free latte, and wow... surprisingly good! Smooth, flavorful, and made just right. Between the tasty food and outstanding service, this place really impressed me. I was in the mood for a bagel sandwich and decided to try the newest bagel shop in town. As soon as I entered the shop I was warmly welcomed by the employees. I told them I was a first timer and they offered to answer any questions and let me know that they serve breakfast all day. Although it was past noon, they still had a good selection of bagels and muffins to choose from. I ordered the bagelwich omelet and also got a half dozen bagels to take home to the fam. I took the whole order to go, but the sandwich was still warm and toasty when I got home. Made on a spinach Parmesan bagel with eggs, ham, provolone, spinach, and mushrooms, it hit the spot! I ended up having one of the bagels for a late afternoon treat and I loved how the bagel was soft and fluffy while the outside had just the right amount of crunch. SO GOOD! And did I mention they are huge??? Way more than snack-size, but that didn't stop me from eating the whole thing :) Anyway, while I waited for my order to be prepared I sat in their dining area. They have a pretty spacious dining room for a bagel shop and they also have a couple of tables outside for dining al fresco. By far the best bagel place in Yorba Linda. Excellent selections and wonderful customer service. The green mung bean with coconut cream smoothie is an absolute delight! Finally tried our new neighborhood bagelry. I got there before 9am and over half the bagels were gone! Must be popular. I got the spinach Asiago with tuna salad, breakfast sandwich with sausage on an everything bagel and an Asiago with cream cheese. We all loved it!! The staff is supper attentive and nice. Everyone is very excited about this new neighborhood bagel place that just opened. The service was very friendly. They have bagels, smoothies, and freshly squeezed juice. I don't think they sell cream cheese by itself, only on the side in an individual sized container. They also have Vietnamese coffee, even though it's not on the menu. I got the number one (lox) even though it was $13 because it looked so good in the pictures. The total was over $15 so I checked the receipt and they overcharged me. Even though it's only a dollar it makes me want to come here less. If I do come back I will try one of the egg sandwiches since I don't think the $15 item was worth it. I did REALLY like the alfalfa sprouts on it (rare these days) and all the ingredients were super fresh including the tomato and fish. The bagel was perfectly toasted too. The ambiance was lacking something inside so I ate outside and watched the gardeners work. I can't tell you what's wrong with the dining area; it just doesn't seem like a place to hang out. read more

Saw that they are doing soft opening and wanted to give it a try. I got the turkey bacon on Asaigo spinach bagel with no veggie, and it was so good! The bagel is crunchy on the outside and soft and slightly chewy on the inside, their turkey meat is also very delicious where it is not salty which complement the bacon very well! They also gave fresh squeezed orange juice which is very delicious (sweet and sour), very refreshing to wash down the bagel. Have variety of coffee selection. The cashier was extremely friendly and the facility is clean. Come here if you have a bagel or croissant craving, you won't be disappointed! This might just be my new bagel sandwich spot! What a cute (and assuming) couple that run this shop! It's a great space and great amount of options of bagels to choose from and the amount of sandwiches to make with the bagels! I got the heavenly veggie one and my husband got the pastrami and they both come with pickles! Omg it was sooooo good! And they're not stingy with the cream cheese which I love! Tastes fresh too! Lesson learned, don't go first thing on Monday because you'll end up with stale bagels that didn't sell on Sunday! Very disappointed, it was obviously yesterday's product. Cute place, I've been here several times and I wish them the best of luck. With rental rates, franchise fees, cost of goods and labor, it's going to be hard to make it in the long run. Stopped by specifically for a bagel sandwich and coffee. Small eating area and the patio was open. Tables were dirty but that was an easy fix for us. Coffee is out of a hot beverage dispenser and was just ok. The bagel itself was tasty but the sandwich was underwhelming. We got egg, bacon and cheese. It was just dry, like it needed a salsa or aioli. If we just need bagels, we may come back but not for the sandwiches or coffee. read more

Today was my first visit to 5th Avenue Bagelry, during my visit I ordered an egg bagel and water bagel, both with cream cheese. The service was great and there is both an inside and outside area for seating. The house blend coffee was very good but next time I will venture beyond the drip coffee and into the latte realm. The experience was enjoyed so much that I returned for lunch. The sandwiches of choice was a BLT on a croissant and a turkey sandwich on an Asiago bagel. Both were delicious but I will admit that although the croissant was perfectly fine, the bagel stole the show. No doubt, I will going back soon. read more

My family randomly spotted this place and were excited to find bagels before a soccer match. The place was very clean, the menu was clear with lots of options and the staff were very friendly. Honestly, stingy with high prices! Coffee nearly $4, the bagels were NOT fresh becuz they are not going to throw out yesterday's left over. Onion bagel had just a few scatters of onions on top and never got an onion taste out of it. Can't even understand the unfriendly Asian lady (probably owner), who can't put on a smile on her face if you only come in for bagels! Small almond croissant was tasteless and like it was sitting around for weeks, we threw it away. 2 bagels with NOTHING ON IT and one small flat worthless croissant $12+.... The staff are friendly and it has a cozy atmosphere but not a lot of seating indoors. They have a small patio area for nice days. I stopped by for quick Grub. I would give probably 3 stars but I'm taking away one star for charging 1 dollar for refill in the coffee that I was going to take it to go. That's just a bad customer service. Who carries cash these days and they are already charging 3-4 dollars for the coffee. No one who knows how to run a business will charge you for getting more on the coffee that is outside for customers to help themselves. Really good place! I had a jalapeño bagel with cream cheese and the bagel had a really good chew. Dare I say it better than YLS. I also got their mini muffins and my kids devoured them.
