    # 2 Jasmine Green Milk Tea w Boba 4.06.23

Review 83/365 Day Challenge Can't believe it's been 2 years since DT open their doors. A lot of Ding tea has closed and re-branded. I'm glad DT Anaheim Hills is still going strong. This is still one of the boba shop I frequent especially when my kids want the Monster Boba Latte. Still pretty sweet so I usually get it half sweeten and the brown sugar boba that comes w the drink. It's chewy good. Have tried the Bubble Waffle & it's pretty good. Associate is really friendly here and receiving the drinks always on a timely manner/turn around time. Located across the streets from Canyon High school so they do get a lot of foot traffic during school days. The shop is clean and the last time I visited, they had cool post it notes on the walk where the guest can doodle stuff and leave it for display. Definitely recommend following their Instagram handle DingTeaAnaheimHills for special offers/promos.

First time visiting this Ding Tea location, and I absolutely loved it! The interior is modern, clean, and very welcoming. You have the convenience of ordering through a kiosk or directly with staff, and the associate who helped me was incredibly friendly and personable. I ordered a matcha with ube at 50% sweetness, and it was outstanding! Rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. As someone who doesn't typically enjoy overly sweet drinks, the 50% sweetness level was just right. I would definitely recommend giving it a try! Also, their cups are a great touch--both stylish and practical. They feature a built-in cover for the straw opening, making it easy to seal, shake your drink, or save it for later without any spills. Such a thoughtful and convenient design!

Bottom Line Up Front: Come to Ding Tea for a wide variety of boba and coffee ... if you like 'em sweet and don't mind the premium prices. The Drinks: Ding Tea features such a large menu, ranging from fresh teas to Yakult drinks, that I have yet to try half of the beverages despite multiple visits. But this review will focus on what I got in my latest visit: Ube Viet Coffee and Hokkaido Milk Tea. I ordered the Ube Viet Coffee with half sweetness and coffee jelly and, wow, was it sugary. If this was half sweet, I'd be afraid the full sweet might make all my teeth fall out. OK, I joke, but it was so sweet that I wonder if the barista actually cut the sweetener by 50% or not. Don't get me wrong, the drink was good otherwise. It featured a strong Vietnamese coffee flavor and tasty Ube cream. Plus, the coffee jelly was perfect: a faint sweetness with a good java taste. My wife got the Hokkaido Milk Tea with regular boba, half sweetness, and oat milk. While I thought it was solid (despite me not normally ordering milk tea), she didn't like it because it was also way too sugary for 50% sweet. She drank only a quarter of it and had me drink the rest. We both agreed the boba had the perfect taste and texture. The Prices: The drinks range from $4.50 to $7.25 -- more if you want add-ons. Each of our drinks were almost $8, which was a little steep considering they were sweeter than we expected. The Service: Unfortunately, we didn't try the drinks until we drove off, so we didn't ask for the baristas to make adjustments. Despite the drinks being overly sweet, the whole staff was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. The Setting: Located inside a relatively busy strip mall, this Ding Tea location is a good size with 6 to 10 tables, allowing for small groups to hang out comfortably. It's also clean and nearly organized. Plus, there's a self-service kiosk to order from if the front counter is busy or you're just not feeling chatty. The Conclusion: Ding Tea is a high-quality boba shop with a lot to offer, which should satisfy your cravings regardless of your preferred beverage. Just be prepared to pay a premium -- and to check the sweetness levels before you leave the store.

We stopped by here after being in the area. I was in the mood for some kind of matcha and after reading reviews and seeing their menu we stopped by. I had the banana matcha which was super tasty. You could actually taste the matcha and the banana didnt taste artificial. It also had pieces of banana and some sort of crunchy topping. Mom had a monster boba which i tried and was tasty too. The girl at the counter was very sweet too. Highly recommend. They have a large open floor plan with lots of seating

I walked in and wasn't greeted, and wait for for a few minutes. No one said please wait or anything so I just walked out. I've came here before, the wait time is long very long. Didn't care but didn't like how I was ignored. Place is lively and very clean. The drinks are also pretty good.

Usually don't go to Ding Tea due to the inconsistent quality and service but it was very convenient. Wasn't too sure what to get but our cashier Sammie was super helpful! She recommended the ceremonial matcha blush and it was delicious! Excited to try more drinks here. Great service!

I love this boba franchise . Their boba drinks are always a hit and amazing. Every ding tea has different vibes and out of all the ones I been to this one is actually one of my favorites . The vibes it gives urban vibes perfect for people to come and chill and of course eat yummy food that they serve here. I still haven't got a chance to try their food yet since this is the first ding tea I been to that sells bubble waffles and steam buns. But whenever I come back I'll definitely will give them a try and I'm sure it will be a hit. The service is quick and simple as well as very friendly , made it so easy to order because you can either order at their kiosk ( for people that don't want to talk to people at the cashier) or go up to the counter to order your stuff there. I'll be back to try the yummy treats they have to offer . Thanks for the yummy boba

Ding tea wasn't one of my favorite Boba spots. However, I think it's growing on me. I got their kumquats green tea, and it was amazing! I made sure that I lessened the sugar content because I did want to be a semi good. But one of the things that impressed me was that the tea was super strong! I had it an hour before I went to bed and I couldn't sleep for most of the night. Therefore, I will make sure that I have it in the afternoon instead of the late evenings.

I have been to the Anaheim Hills location a few times when I am in this part of town. I always order the same kumquat lemon iced tea no matter which Ding Tea I go to and the drinks from here have been solid. This is one of the few locations that actually include a few split open kumquats in the drink which I love since it kicks up the sour factor a little bit. I was the only one there when I visited and my order was taken and prepared quickly. There are some tables inside and the shop has a nice modern vibe. For times when they are busy, there is also a kiosk against the left wall which you can use to order to avoid any long line at the register. It is located in a busy shopping center but I've never had a problem finding a close parking spot. Keep in mind when timing your visit, they are located right across the street from Canyon high school so they probably get slammed when school gets out.

Ding Tea is a reliable go-to for consistently good boba. The menu has plenty of options, and I love how customizable the drinks are with sugar, ice, and toppings. The tea is well-brewed, the boba is chewy and fresh, and the drinks aren't overly sweet. Service is quick and efficient, even when it's busy. Solid choice when you want dependable bubble tea. I got the lychee fruit boba green tea with less ice and 30% sugar. It was about $5.75 before taxes.

We ordered a lychee slushy for the first time and found that it was too sweet. We asked the lady in the front if they could make it less sweet they went out of their way to make it just the way we liked it. And didn't charge us for it. I will definitely come back here again. Great customer service. Thank you for being awesome.

We used to come here for drinks after our library visit and just found out they are now offering bubble egg waffle and other sweet treats. Ordered the original ones and it's a little crispy outside but chewy inside and the sweetness is just perfect. They also have other flavors. Perfect for a quick snack or when craving for something sweet but not so sweet. Their drinks are always good to the ding tea standard and you can always customize to the way you like (ice level and sweetness and toppings)

Absolutely enchanting, like a fairytale come true!…read more As you step inside you're greeted by blush pink florals and elegant china, so beautifully decorated that you have to capture every moment! The soft jazz music drifted through the air, perfectly complimenting the sophisticated, but quaint ambiance. Perfect for the girly girl that likes a bit of glam, pampering, and a splash of tea! We treated ourselves to Royal Tea Experience, and we felt like royalty. It exceeded every expectation leaving us wanting more. The tea selection was extensive and appeared to offer something for everyone- I mean everyone. We tried the Peach Apricot and the Jasmine Rose, both were delicious paired next to everything on the three tiers. The freshly baked scones were warm and when paired with the delicious homemade cream and strawberry preserves, it just hit the spot. The assortment of tea sandwiches and sweets were not only beautiful, but flavorful. A little savory and a little sweet, variety for your palette; from dill to strawberry. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and wonderfully presented. The atmosphere is elegant, charming, luxurious and incredibly welcoming. The staff are really there to provide a top notch experience. They check in just enough, but leave you the space to catch up with your bestie- in my case. They are efficient with their process and explain everything up front making the experience smooth. This is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the moment with bestie, mother - daughter time or with a group of ladies. One of my favorite moments, was the toddler next to us whose face lit up at the tier of delicious goodies as she let out a "wow". My spirit animal! Sip & Sugar Co. does a great job of dazzling you and creating a memorable experience. Not simply an afternoon tea, instead it's a touch of magic. Can't wait to visit again!

My first visit was pretty empty inside and I tried the iced pan dulce coffee. It's a medium roast coffee with a sweet cold foam topped with pan dulce crumbles. It was delicious and my favorite drink so far. During my next visit, the cafe was more lively and I tried the specialty cafe de olla cold brew. This was also a solid drink and it was a little less sweet than the iced pan dulce coffee. My favorite thing about these drinks is that they have coffee ice cubes, so when they melt, your drink doesn't taste watered down. They also serve food. Their green chilaquiles had a great flavor and they weren't too spicy. My husband had the chilaquiles oaxaqueños and loved them. I'm not a fan of mole, so they weren't my cup of tea. Their breakfast burritos looked good as well, so that's next on my list to try.
