Great little spot tucked into a neighborhood with super welcoming service and delicious beer. My highlight coming here was the fact that they were showing premier league matches at the brewery and the smash burger I had from the food cart in the back. That was probably the best smash burger I've had in Portland. Would highly recommend coming here and picking up a burger and a pint.

Came to this cozy brewery in Buckman. It has a limited amount on tap, but what they have is good. Away Days has gotten many awards. For the quality it's pretty good prices. They still manage to have quite a variety on tap. A small space making it tough for a crowd. It's pretty cramped in here. There's only a few seats at the bar and no tables. Got some of the interesting sounding beers. It's about $7 a pint. Best of these was the Crown And Anchor Cream Ale. This was light and smooth. Have to make an update about this business. It's moving. They have closed the taproom on SE 10th Avenue, and are moving to another location, so check for updates on the website.

Cute brewery in SouthEast with a fun backyard/outdoor area to hang in. Went late on a Friday afternoon and it was packed! Removed one star cause it can feel cramped.. but I'm happy they are thriving. Beers were great (had the Hazy IPA) and loved the fun vibes. Burger truck on site was good too!

It's 6am and in search of a place to gather and watch the Olympic Women's quarter final soccer game, USA vs. Japan. Away Days was our spot to start with some coffee and end with a pulled cider. A kind patron brought some delcious donuts, but I'm not here to write about those. Service is excellent, the environment is spacious and clean, allowing for watching some sports on TVs that seem a bit small for my likings as I watch USA move ahead into the semi-finals. I'm pretty sure that if you are stopping by here you are hoping to have some great beer, served by great staff, and enjoy some time with friends or family. Away Days is a great spot for any and all events. Support your local brewery and get on over to Away Days Brewing. For those of you with babies, there is a changing table in the bathroom. They are very family friendly!

Cute little brewery tucked back on a side street in SE Portland. Friendly service and great suggestions because this fickle girl loves everything from hazy to stout. We visited on a sunny Saturday and sat in the back near the super cool mural and Champs Burger food cart. I chose the Cora Pilsner which paired perfectly with my double smash burger. This SE Brooklyn neighborhood is lucky to have this little gem.

Stopped in before going down to a Timbers game. My boys and I are real into soccer and loved this place! The beers are very good, different than a typical northwest style brewery. They are more English real ale/cask style although they did have 1 IPA. The burger place out back was about the best burger we have ever had. I'm not a fry person at all but even the fries were great

I am so pissed that this place has been around for 6 years and I just discovered it. If you are lucky enough to have a taste for British cask bitter then this is the place. Best ever. IPA is dead to me.

Cute little brewery. The new location is coming along. One TV at the bar for watching soccer games. They have NA beers available which is nice when pregnant or being the DD. Chips available, no food yet. The service was great! Check out this small business

Excellent Helles Lager at Away Days Brewing!

Another great Portland brewery! This city has such a great craft beer scene that it's always super exciting for me to take a trip down here to try out breweries I haven't paid a visit to before and go to beloved ones. This brewery I got something on the lighter side for beer as that was what mainly was compromised of when trying having craft beer down here on my most recent trip. I got their Helles Lager which I really enjoyed. I love lagers and the Helles style is always something that I enjoy drinking. This brewery's version was no exception. It was extremely refreshing and had a good biscuity and nutty flavor to it. It was a very well tasting beer to kick back and relax with. There looked like other promising beer options on tap as well but I didn't get any more as I was trying out several different breweries. Away Days was a very fine stop and if you can swing by and try one of them!

This is a nice smaller brewpub in the light industrial area of SE Portland just east of the Hawthorne Bridge. The pub area is very nice, small but bright and decorated with great care. The large garage-door opens for a nice inside-outside seating area, the bar is nice, service is friendly, and it has a comfortable, quiet, relaxed feel. Beer is great quality and they have some cask-conditioned ales as well. When we were there, they had a couple lighter ales similar to light British summer ales and they were very enjoyable.

We had a dunkel and although it's not as dark as the ones we had in Germany, it was good! They allowed our dog inside and we're glad since it was hot! Service was friendly. It's a small brewery, but it's nice and nicely decorated and modern. Not much besides just good beer and good company!

Ok....closer to 4.75 stars. Taking a little off because of where the outside seating is, right next to the road. So car fumes were an issue for us last night. The service was awesome!!! Very quick and the gal was very friendly as well. Got a flight of beer to start with, so I could decide what beer I wanted to get a pint of later. I went with the Vienna lager. All the beers that they had on tap were just what they were supposed to be. The food was pretty good but nothing really special. My wife and friends were kind of bummed about the fish and chips being only one piece of fish. But they still enjoyed it nonetheless. I had a scotch egg and a burger. I thought the fries (chips) were a little too well done. They're only open until 8 PM currently but they may be extending their hours once there's more daylight in the evening. They are owned by the place nextdoor so you can continue to imbibe until 10 PM. It's also dog friendly as well so that's a plus.

Away Days Brewing is a super cute spot. It's small but has seating available both inside and out. I started off with a flight (you choose four) followed by a pint and my husband had two pints. The Home & Away IPA was my favorite, I was sad that they were out of cans to take home. This was my favorite brewery visit while in Oregon. Cheers!

The kid space was a great size and my two small ones loved being able to play while we ate. I loved that they had some great open ended toys and I didn't need to worry about them disturbing our neighbors. Our server, Emma, was great! She was attentive and quick. She even made our kids chocolate milk even though it's not on the menu. Our food was amazing. We had the kids butter noodles (I'd order that for my adult meal if I could!), kids cheeseburger, deviled eggs, caprese with prosciutto, and fish and chips. The fish was so good and big! Definitely enjoyed our experience here!

At 4:35 the appetizer showed up as I finished my second beer, moments before my parking ran out. Nobody communicated with me about the delay. I was ignored by staff the entire time. Most restaurants target 10-15 minutes for apps - this was 40 minutes, and the restaurant was not packed. Other patrons who ordered after me successfully received their food. They said the app was comped, but after I said I had to leave, the app never even made it to my seat. I left Deschutes hungry and disappointed.

It's truly disappointing when restaurants and other businesses choose to take a political stance…read morethat makes some customers feel unwelcome simply because of their beliefs or support for the Constitution. My wife and I drove over 30 minutes to visit this location because we were looking forward to enjoying good BBQ, tacos and a beer. Unfortunately, the political signage displayed throughout the windows and establishment made us feel unwelcome, so we decided not to stay. Great Notion and Matt's BBQ Tacos, you've pushed away customers who came ready to support your business and spend money with you. I wish you the best, but it seems you've chosen to operate not only as a restaurant and brewery, but also as a platform for political messaging. That's your right, of course, but it's a direction that may alienate customers who simply want to enjoy good food and drinks without politics being part of the experience.

The Blueberry Muffin is an all-time favorite, and even though I get annoyed when they're sold out, it's never enough to keep me away. Most times I get a flight and try a bunch of different things. This location is charming. It has the industrial decor that now feels cliché but was groundbreaking for beer and burger spots a decade ago. With a very large patio and big garage doors, it's great during summer especially. Staff is knowledgeable about their beer, patient while we deliberated, and did us a favor to help the beer travel on the plane. The kitchen is now operated by Matt's BBQ Tacos (which I will review separately).

I love the space as well, though if you're looking for somewhere for a quiet conversation and welcoming pastels this is NOT your spot. I wish we could bring the kids to hang out with us on the patio at least, but Portland permitting is weird AF. Love the merch, love the tap lists, love the events, love the cooler; what more can I say? To top it all off they have El Viejon serving some of the best mexican food anywhere in Portland right in the joint! I am a big fan of the indoor/outdoor flow for the space, especially on nice weather afternoons like we have had recently. Outdoor seating is limited, so be prepared to sit inside. Interior seating is not the most comfortable, with former church bleachers that are quite bouncy or large and hard game of thrones-like high chairs. The team is super friendly and will send you to the food station or the bar depending on your needs, and, with the good quality Mexican cuisine on service, you'll want a taco or two. The brewery specializes in Hazy/IPAs, to come expecting to enjoy these PNW basics. I swapped between them and non-alcoholic options since hazies are not my favorite but everyone I was with loved them. The restrooms are clean and there are plenty of bike stands to make this a car-free journey.
