3rd time doing ace throw & this place is perfect! There's plenty of stuff to do around since it's int the mall plaza while waiting for your booking time. Plenty of parking. Staff are friendly. This was our first time axe throwing and it was a ton of fun! We were able to make reservations online and it was super simple. They offer 30 minute or 1 hour packages which works great for couples or groups. You can also order drink packages when making your reservation. When we arrived, we were greeted by very friendly front desk staff. They got us all set up and drinks served. When our system malfunctioned halfway through, they were quick to get everything fixed and back up and running. This is really a lot of fun! I was unsure at how successful I would be but it turned out to be easier than expected. They have 3 different size axes which makes it easy to find one that works. Also lots of targets to choose from so there really is something for everyone. Definitely something fun and different to do and we look forward to coming back with friends. read more

We wanted to try something new for our Christmas Eve out with the family and this place didn't disappoint. We easily made our reservations online, an email confirmation with links for their waiver arrived almost immediately. We arrived early, no problem, they had an open lane and got us set up. The employee was very helpful, explaining the safety rules, throwing the different axes, pro and cons of each, scoring, changing targets and then took our drink order. The time started when I created our profiles and it shuts down immediately when the time is over. The place is very clean, service was quick and in a professional manner. The only recommendation by our group was maybe a bench along the back wall for seating, they do have stools but only a few, so on a busy day, it might be hard to have one. We brought Grandma, she really enjoyed herself, the wife rocked it and won the first match to 40 points. We will be going back again, it's a fun and safe activity. read more

I love this place! Came here on a saturday night with a group of friends and we had so much fun. Since there were 6 of us, we were able to split the group into 2 and use 2 cages right beside each other. It's $25/hr per person. If you plan on drinking, they have a great drink package.. just ask! You'll need close shoes, but if you're not wearing one, they can lend you a pair of crocs for FREE Honestly, I was very intimidated at first because I do not have the best hand-eye coordination and never held an axe in my life. However, staff are super helpful and will walk you through the game and go over all safety precautions. Also, axes do come in different sizes. Drink Menu offers beers, cider, seltzers and wine. The staff here is super friendly! They were awesome and explained everything very well. Although they were nice I feel they were a bit too young to be in the jobs they were working. If someone not even over 21 is service alcoholic drinks and explaining how to throw a somewhat "dangerous weapon" is in control of the entire room it makes everything seem a bit uneasy. We decided to check this spot out but only because our usual axe throwing place was closed. I really enjoy the digital aspect of it, but it would've been nice to understand how every game was meant to be played. The projector style makes scoring less accurate. I can only speak for the lane we had but the wood needed to be changed out weeks ago. I've gone to a few axe bars and was always told I didn't need to throw it super hard to get the axe to stick, however this time you had to throw hard to stand any chance to get it to stick. The true let down was we had a newbie in our group. Someone who has never throw before and she got maybe 4 axes to stick out of a full hour. The best part of this place was the different types of axes. Three different styles and three different weights made for a nice variety. If the wood wasn't so bad maybe we could've enjoyed them a bit more. read more

When my 12 year old and her friend wanted to axe throw, I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. But the folks at Axe and Throw were great. They have a brief tutorial that was easy to follow. The facility is nice and clean. The graphics for the targets are also really fun. I do wish they would give tips when people are having difficulty-hence the 4 stars. Overall, very fun! read more
