I wrote a review last year that was not a good one, a lot has changed since then & I really want to let anyone know the changes. After all the problems I was having & wrote my review, we sat down together & had a great talk. That right there was huge for me, because it made me feel that they did really care about the residents here. I know in my 1st review I said Amy said she wasn't looking for friends but Now I see her as a friend! She has been wonderful! She came to my apartment so she could see the things I was complaining about on my patio, she has just been super helpful to me now & I really hope we stay friends even if I'm not here. She is a very caring person!!! Amy has a new assistant now, his name is Tanner & I couldn't be more delighted that he is here! Always smiling, so friendly & helpful! Great Replacement! They did a lot of great updates on this place, there is a Clubhouse type game room & areas to go if you want to get out of your apartment & work in quiet. With my disabilities I am not able to use the gym but I do go in there with my daughter & they have the best water in there!! As I said in my last review I use the pool daily if possible to not only get exercise but being in the water is therapeutic. They worked their butts off getting that pool to be great. I might skim the pool still sometimes but that's on me because I go swimming at night now so stuff blowing around all day gets in. But WOW, stepping into the pool is AWESOME! It's warm, Like I said in my last review, I'm from WI, I don't care what the temp outside is as long as the water is warm I'm going in!! THANK YOU ALL FOR TAKING CARE OF THAT!! Oh & the pool area looks so nice now as well, they got new cushions & pillows ect... I love the colors!! I wanted to also mention that this is the very 1st place that I've lived in & I'm 46, when I can put in a service order for something that needs to be fixed & I swear they come that day or the following day if I put it in to late. Felix has to be one of the best guys I've worked with, it's like he can just fix anything! There is another guy (super sorry I can't remember your name) but he is awesome as well. I'm not sure where Amy from corporate is now but, I hope she reads this because she is the one who basically put the manager Amy & I in a room & we talked. That conversation changed everything for me. Over this last year so many great changes have taken place here, I now highly recommend coming & checking it out. Lots of great friendly Residents, beautiful Pool, a nice Sitting area, BBQ area with a Fireplace, Gym, Game/Clubhouse, Work areas, the construction is almost done on our buildings side. I did get a 10% rent increase, just started this month so I'm worried $ wise but that isn't up to Amy it is AMC who does the increases. I hope they read this, I just want them to know that by continuing to raise everyone's rent the highest you can is just greedy & you are going to find that you lose a lot of reliable good tenants that have been here for a long time because it's just not affordable. Please Try to remember we are People not just a paycheck. I just want to say to anyone that reads this review, 1st you can agree or disagree with my review update but these are my experiences, if yours is different write your own review. 2nd, just know that we all have stressful things going on in our lives, sometimes they are really bad. After going through this pandemic together, so many people are really struggling! We have been proud tenants at Axis 2300 for 10 years. Yes, you read that right! We consider our apartment to be our, "Forever Home" because of its tremendous openness, high ceilings, location, luxury style and huge barrier-free accessibility for my power wheelchair throughout the whole apartment. This property is unlike any other we've seen since moving to California from New Jersey 15 years ago, where we were born and raised. The property recently underwent a change of ownership and management. All the residents were so surprised. No one knew. Truth be told, our former Axis community was like a family to us and we will always miss every single one of them. We try to keep in touch and that means the world to us. With that said, my mom and I are looking forward to getting to know our new staff. The new staff is very open to building our new Axis 2300 community by sharing suggestions, new ideas, tweaking former ideas and searching for different and better ways to improve our daily living at Axis 2300. The staff is always available to listen to our residents suggest how to make things new and improved. It's a win-win for everyone! The new staff is wonderful! Each day they are extremely dedicated, determined and team-focused on providing Axis 2300 residents with all it can better be! We are all a work-in-progress. We can always do better and we are eager to be part of the process. Axis 2300 is presently undergoing a "face-lift" and is open to all suggestions how to improve things that our residents see can be improved. They want the same thing... Bottom line, they WANT us to be happy! The amenities are top-notch. They add a real special touch to ease our busy daily living. Our new maintenance team always responds promptly and professionally to our portal requests. Our Community Manager, Amy, and Leasing Agent, Emily, always greet us with a smile. They manage Axis with an impeccable sense of pride. They always come up with new, fun and creative ideas for the residents to enjoy. Yes, we all miss the former Axis 2300 staff and our "little family" and we are very lucky to have present residents want to see Axis 2300 flourish with the new staff. At the end of the day, Axis 2300 is a very special place to live....Nothing is perfect and these are difficult times. We all need to be there for each other and look to help the new staff and our neighbors in any way we can to help everyone Live Healthy and Happy at Axis 2300! read more

I have lived here with my family for 1 year & 1/2+, when I first moved here with the old management I loved living here, they never had any problems helping with anything when we had issues. Since the new management has taken over I do not feel comfortable going into the office to ask for help even when I need it because of the manager down there, I don't know her name, she has longer black hair, she always seems upset when people have issues, and speaks to not only residents rudely but other staff too, I heard her myself while passing the office multiple times. I do not feel comfortable going to her for help. When we moved here I used to love going to the pool to relax and swim at night when nobody else was there, but now its so dirty all the time not only in the pool but in the area around it, that I cannot even go in there anymore, who wants to swim around a ton of dirt and dead bugs? Speaking of, this building has a cockroach problem in the sewer system, we have had so many since moving here and when we tell the management they come and treat the apartment but it never solves the problem they always come back, I don't only see them in my apartment, but around the complex! There have been multiple times I was in the pool area and had to kill a huge cockroach. At first moving here, I didn't mind living next to construction but at this point, there is such loud noise from 7 am to 3 or 4 pm almost everyday, we can't even open our windows, it's so loud you can hear it with the windows closed! Also because of the construction our patio and windows are filthy with dust and dirt, I can not even use the patio which I used to go out and look at the stars with my telescope on, but with the construction you can't see anything anymore besides a building anyways. When I moved here I got a discount in my rent because of the construction, which old management said they wouldn't raise it because of, but now with this new management they have been raising my rent and not only mine but others I am friends with in the building as well. It really disappoints me that the atmosphere in this building has gotten so depressing, I don't even leave my apartment anymore unless it's dark out. read more

I don't live here but I come here every week to see patient for over 1 year now. A few month ago I was parking & when I got out of my vehicle I heard this voice behind me loudly saying to me "are you going to be a future resident?" I stopped, turned around to see a lady coming toward me & she did not look happy (I wanted to respond to her saying "NO WAY"). She asked me what I was doing here & I told her I was here to see my patient. She asked me who I was here to see!!! BAD!!! I told her that she can't ask me that because of Hippa Law! Then she asked me if I was here to see ....... I said no. I won't say the persons name she asked about because I follow Hippa Law, everyone deserve their privacy! I told her again that she can not ask me that because of Hippa Law. She told me to park in Guest Parking, so I did. After I parked I saw her go into a room (probably maintenance) I was going to go tell her I will ask my patient if she has a spot I can use but she was talking with staff in Spanish so I just went up to see my patient. I told my Patient about it & she gave me her key & parking space number to use. When I went to leave I almost stepped right onto a Cockroach!!!!! I took picture, it was HUGE!! I live in Irvine & I never see a Cockroach that big! So gross! I told my patient she should not have to live like this. I told her to talk to landlord & she said she has many time but she won't go to the office anymore because the lady in there is rude to her, she described her to me & it is the same person who was rude to me! I live in Irvine because it is a great place to live, people usually nice, safe. You pay more but in trade you live nice. I feel so bad my patient does not get the same experience! I hope landlord / HOA sees this & does something about the concerns. Her rent just went up alot & she is disabled & needs her exercise in the pool daily but she hasn't been able to. If I had Cockroach in my place I would move, that is not sanitary! read more

I love the area & my apartment. I've lived here for many years but keep to myself because I work a lot. I over heard people talking in the hallway about Yelp reviews, I'm on the 4th floor but I don't know who was talking. So I came on to see what was all going on & I see that there's like 5 reviews just done today that are all 5 stars. Like I said I love my apartment but that long review, the 1st one I saw is right about a lot of things. Even though I'm not very social I do miss the old staff, they were like family. There was always stuff going on for the residents, we used to have an email for all the residents to chat to each other. I also get Cockroaches & Huge Spiders. That part where she said there was a cockroach on the grill inside, that happened to me too so I know she's telling the truth. I don't like the cigarette butts I see when I'm not in the apartment. I can't handle the smell of them. Reading that the elevators don't need a key during the day does not make me very happy. I wasn't told about that either. The people giving 5 Stars probably don't live on the side of the building with the construction. I don't know the office people very well so all I can say about them is Emily I believe is the one at the front desk, she is very nice & reminds me of the other lovely gal from the old management Andrea. The other gal in there I'm gonna say is Amy since all the other reviews talk about her. I have not personally talked to her that I can remember but my roommate has & doesn't have good things to say. I work for a tenant at the Axis apartments and through the course of my work-relationship with the tenant I got to know Marie, one of the management team, very well. Sadly, an unpredictable tragedy happened (off site) and Marie was with me every step of the way to make sure the tenant was respected, cared for, and prioritized. It is not common that agents at corporately owned buildings are as caring and helpful as Marie was and her attention to detail and concern for all involved assured me that my boss, Axis's tenant, was in good hands. Marie is more than just management, I can say with the utmost confidence that Marie truly cares about the residents. I watched Marie interact with new tenants and current tenants multiple times during my time working at Axis and she treated everyone equally and took time to make sure everyone had their questions answered and was comfortable. Marie is the rare person that makes living anywhere special and she is absolutely who you want in your corner if something goes wrong. I work with a lot of individuals in corporately managed buildings and Marie is truly, truly special. If you are trying to decide between Axis 2300 and other buildings I can say from years of experience that you will not get this kind of personal, one-on-one treatment from management at other facilities. Note: I posted this review to Google as well, I really feel it's important for everyone to know on both Google and Yelp how helpful Marie was and continues to be. We recently leased a 2 bed plus den at Axis 2300 and wanted to immediately post a positive review of our experience. We looked at several Irvine/Newport apartment complexes from multiple (!) Irvine Company buildings to other upscale apartments. Our experience with Axis was excellent from the moment we walked in the door. The best part was and continues to be the Manager, Veronica. Veronica is professional, experienced, courteous, respectful and knows the local competitive market. That made a difference when comparing our options. Veronica was also flexible with our move timeframe and was accommodating to our interests. Axis 2300 was built as condos and look and feel like it. From the unit size, high ceilings, flooring and design, Axis stands out from other upscale apartment projects. Of course it's location is excellent and the building is well maintained and clean. Nice pool area with cabanas, clean BBQs, outdoor fireplace, conference room and a couple smaller quiet rooms to do work. With only 115 units it feels more of a community. Highly recommend Axis 2300 and Veronica. read more

FINALLY! Happy Spring! My son and I have lived at Axis 2300 since 2011! We are extremely happy residents here and never plan on moving! Buddy and I want to send Axis a great big sincere THANK YOU! The support our community received during the Covid pandemic and the lingering aftermath have made things so much easier for us to deal with it all. Amy and Tanner in the office are always great and ready to assist us in any way they can. After all the storms, rain and wind recently, all the daily cleaning of the common areas, gym, floors, elevators, courtyards and trash rooms have been maintained so well. Our maintenance team, Felix and Joel, always greet us with a smile and are always there for us. They have our backs when we need their help and we are forever grateful. The upgraded greenery and gardens look so beautiful and add such a special touch! There is such a sense of pride living here at Axis 2300 and everyone does such an outstanding job. Welcome to the empire of Amy and her troops here in the Axiss2300. I totally agree with the other reviewers who say she think she owns this place. She absolutely does. She treats residents bad. Amy is a greedy a....hole person who cares only about herself and her family members. All of her friends and families do live here. Nothing wrong with that but when you reject everyone else and kick out other residents to move in your family, it is soooo wrong. There was a nice person working with them named Emily, but Amy kicked her out so she can do whatever she want to do. I have seen Amy yelling and insulting Emily. AMC did a horrible job by hiring such a person and to not monitor her. I never hated anyone in my life so much. I will definitely run away when I see AMC is the property management of a property. So if you are reading this review before moving in, just run away. Nothing wrong with the building its all about poor management. read more

We've moved to Axis 2300 a few months ago and it's been a great experience for both my partner and my two dogs. It's definitely one of the bigger apartment floor plans out there for Irvine. Emily, Amy, and the rest of the Axis staff have been great since the day we've moved in. Emily was very helpful and proactive in helping us with the move-in process. Every time we need help with our maintenance, the turnaround time is within a day or two. Management and staff have done a great job improving Axis 2300. It's the little things that matter; from cleaning the common areas on a daily, to be available to reach out to whether it's email/phone/or at the office, and providing important updates to the tenants. We moved here recently and absolutely love living here. This complex runs like a Swiss watch from top to bottom. Our unit has gorgeous cathedral ceilings and elegant wood flooring. The master bathroom has luxurious granite counter tops. The unit is exceptionally quiet and fellow residents here say "Hello" and smile when they pass by. The pool is always pristine. There is a comprehensive gym as well as a fun game room and conference room with additional seating. Veronica is a hands on manager at every step. Marie always answers the phone immediately when we call in to the leasing office with a can do response. Felix and Joel our maintenance guys always respond to our needs within a matter of a few hours every time. The location of this community is 5 stars for freeway access, dining, shopping and super direct access to the beach. What more could you ask. read more

Just moved into a 2-bedroom apartment at Axis 2300 last week, and we're loving it! The apartment is very spacious, with a huge living room and high ceilings. It feels bright and airy, which is exactly what we were looking for. The leasing staff was fantastic. Seneca was super accommodating when we requested a last-minute showing, and both Tanner and Luigi were helpful throughout the entire application process. Tanner even left us a welcome gift and snacks on move-in day - such a nice touch! We had a couple of minor maintenance requests, and Joel from the maintenance team came and addressed them very quickly. Efficient service is always a plus, and it solidified our feeling that we made the right choice choosing Axis 2300 as our new home. my move into this complex has been a joy. Both Tanner and Amy have gone out of their way to help me thru the leasing process. I am 76 years old and am not in a very good physical condition. Tanner worked with my son to help him get this apartment for me. I love the apartment. I love the location. I love the rental price. I love the support that Tanner and Amy have provided to me. Tanner has called a couple of times since I have moved in to ask how the move went. He helped me establish my account. We recently moved from New York State to Axis 2300 and couldn't be happier. Axis provides the best comparable price per SF I found and the high ceilings make it even more spacious feeling. Some friends expressed concerns about the proximity to the airport but it couldn't be more peaceful. The property is well cared for and the staff is friendly and always there to help. Maintenance responds almost immediately. It's a great place for dogs and the apartments themselves seem practically sound proof. If you're looking for a new home, I highly recommend it! read more

I recently moved in about a month ago and the manager Veronica is nothing less than the best she is very attentive, responsive, friendly, has a wonderful and polite attitude. She is very caring and supportive and take the time out to help out the residents. She is very helpful and patient, I've witnessed her make sure the property is well maintained w/ the help of maintenance. As a resident here for 7 years, I am extremely disappointed with the conditions and lack of management. The elevators break down constantly, pests such as spiders and cockroaches are common, and the parking area frequently smells of urine. False fire alarms go off in the middle of the night, sometimes at 4 a.m., disturbing everyone. There is no maintenance team or emergency response staff - only an automated phone system that offers no real help. It truly feels as though this property has no management oversight at all. read more

I have recently moved into Axis 2300. The leasing team, led by Amy, have been super helpful throughout the process. They have made themselves available and provided assistance with the documentation and move on an ongoing basis. I love this unit, high sealings, brand new appliances, spacious layout... Parking, gym and pool are super clean and well maintained and the community is peaceful and quite. All in all, pretty happy with the decision to move here and I'll be here for a long time. read more

I have been living here with my brothers for almost two and a half years after covid the management changed. With this management so far, I have zero complaints about them. They painted inside and outside of the building, which is looking new and good. When we have an issue with our house, they try to do their best and are always responsive. I noticed my dryer not working at midnight and completed a maintenance request at that time. Around 10 am the next day, Felix and Joe was at my door ready to work on the dryer. Wow! I was so impressed how quick they responded. In no time I had the dryer working again. Like the fact that no mess was left behind. Plus shout out to Felix and Joe for bring in my 3 five gallons of water, so grateful I did not have to do it. Thank you for the quick response. read more
