Unfortunately our home warranty company apparently ONLY hires axis to do their service calls. Our fridge went out again on May 8. Mind you, it also went out last September and was down 10 days while they replaced all the compressors. So May 8, we discover it's not cooling. Call warranty company who sends axis out on May 14. The man comes and diddles around, then tells us he can't work on a closed system and they'll have to send someone else. New appt made for May 21. This one comes out and does some work. Says he refilled the refrigerant and patched a hole in the work that had been previously done. All those new parts. Apparently something had a leak. He told us to give it 24h to cool and left without giving us a copy of the receipt or anything. I didn't even know he was leaving. 24h later my fridge is still at 70 inside. Now multiple calls and a holiday weekend have passed and I'm still without a fridge. My warranty company submitted paperwork to axis for us to get a replacement. Axis needs to fill it out and say the fridge can't be fixed. We've called them multiple times and they keep telling us it's under review. We ask to speak to a supervisor and we can't because he's "in an urgent meeting". How convenient. I would never personally hire these people. I will never recommend this company to anyone! The repairman didn't even spend 15 minutes looking at our fridge and left. He said everything was fine and it was not! We told him it doesn't make ice. He told me to press the Ice+ button. You would think he knew that that button is when you want extra ice made. Now we have to start the repair process all over again. Axis Appliance Repair: the only company I know that can make a fridge progressively worse with each visit. They were sent by AHS home warranty to fix my LG fridge. The original problem? Simple -- I had to push a button to drop ice. Annoying, but the fridge and freezer worked fine otherwise. Axis showed up 8 to 10 times and somehow managed to turn my fridge into a $3,000 breadbox. By the end, my fridge was holding steady at a toasty 55° and my freezer a brisk 36°. That's not "cold storage." That's spring break in Cancun. Ice? Forget it. Ice cream? More like soup. Meanwhile, AHS told me I had a $2,000 cap on repairs. Axis burned through $1,871 of it, leaving me a whopping $129 -- not enough to cover the taxes on the $3,001 fridge I had to buy out of pocket this week. Thanks, Axis -- I basically paid for you to destroy my fridge and then bought myself a new one. So now all my food is safe again in a shiny new fridge, but the real MVP is still the $200 Magic Chef fridge in my garage that kept everything cold when Axis couldn't. I had a guy come to fix my oven. I did not get his name but he was from the Ukraine. He was extremely rude. He used a brand new novelty sponge that was on my counter that was decor not to be used (without asking - I have sponges to use under my sink had he asked) and he ruined it. He also used many paper towels and left them on the counter instead of throwing them in the trash can that was right there. This company was contracted out through AHS. The initial service request started 2/2026. The tech they are sending doesn't effectively communicate, I cant even understand what he sayin. So after 4 visits no resolve. My oven went from the temp dropping to not heating at all now. I've reached out and asked for the manager last week and today, still not able to speak with a manager. Really bad work trying to repair my clothes dryer. Customer service non existent. 1st time out said it was a broken belt and said it was fixed. First use full failure. Second time out said broken pulley. Need to order parts and come back. Third time out replaced pulley and started dryer and now a VERY loud grinding noise. Repair guy said it is just noise and the dryer was fixed. I protested and he said his boss would call me with a solution. No calls from them. No response to my calls. I later found a large item that used to be in the dryer on the floor behind the dryer. It looks like a large piece of dense insulation. The repair guy literally didn't put things back into the dryer and slapped it back together. So shoddy. I fear this may be a safety issue now and will just buy a new dryer. A couple of yrs ago service mgr Irene had things under control. But we have been waiting since Nov Thanksgiving wk for service on our $3,000 Bosch refrig. They made a trip once for our Bosch refrig stating the $90 svc fee would be deducted from the bill. They didn't or couldn't fix the dishwasher but took the $$. By accident I called another repair co who came out the next day, completely took the dishwasher apart and said if it doesn't work now, buy a new one. Axis never said that. We also have a $3,000 Bosch refrig. We initially called Thanksgiving week last year and have been waiting for service for almost 4 months. Their people are not competent and they do not send them out in a timely manner. We went without ice and water over the holidays and it's still not fixed 4 months later. I intend to notify Allstate the warranty people and Home Depot because I will not buy another appliance where Axis does the so called service. I notice BBB does not recommend them and I see why. The worst appliance repair company. They came to do a LG refrigerator repair as part of warranty. There is a big disconnect between their technicians and supervisors. The technician says the refrigerator is not repairable, but their super visor keeps sending them out to swap parts and see if it works. The company literally wasted 35 days and transferred the ticket to another company to start the debug process. Now the new company will take another week to diagnose the problem and waste time and money. Absolutely useless repair company. They do not diagnose the issue. As with others, we were assigned Axis Appliance Repair through a home warranty service. We have been without a refrigerator since August. They came out four times and finally said it wasn't repairable. We have been waiting WEEKS for them to turn in a report to the home warranty service so that we can get a replacement. I have been calling DAILY and am assured each time that they will take care of it that day. They use a third party call center that does not have any management contacts for us to talk with so there is nothing I can do to get to an individual. I purchased a new Speed Queen washing machine and dryer from this location. Renee told me that it would probably be awhile before I received my washer and dryer because they were on back order which I was fine with I still had my previous washer and dryer. I get a message to schedule a day for the delivery driver to drop it off within a week. So I had to schedule a pick up for my other washer and dryer that I donated to Salvation Army. When I received the Speed Queen appliances the washing machine had rust stains in it like it had been sitting in storage somewhere so I called Renee back to let her know and she said it was brand new out the box. I told it wasn't and sent her pictures and she told me I had to call Speed Queen for them to come out and look at it. I called Speed Queen and he told me to send pictures which I did. I get a call from Renee saying that her manager would replace it. So they replaced it and this one was also used it was nothing on the inside but I saw the bottom of the washing machine when he rolled it in my house. I didn't say anything at the time because I needed to wash my clothes. Fast forward 6 mths and my washer is snagging my nylon sheets and sleeping gowns. Brand new items that I washed and they are damaged. So I called Speed Queen and they sent someone out from Axis Appliances that couldn't even speak English well and this is what he told me that he couldn't speak English well. I showed him what it was doing to my clothes he took the part off where the fabric softener goes and screwed it back on went outside and came back and said he didn't know why this was happening. He was at my house less then 10 mins. He said someone from his company would contact me within 1-2 days no one did so I called them. They said they would push it up to the higher ups to see what to do because the guy that came out hadn't even submitted anything to them. They said they would contact me within 48 hrs. I called them back and the lady from Axis basically said it's nothing they could do since the guy said he couldn't figure out why it was snagging my items. I'm like what do you mean nothing they could do this was a refurbished washing machine she asked me how I knew it was refurbished, I let her know that tjis was the second washing machine that I received because the first was had rust stains in it. She then asked me did I read the book, am I overloading my washer, what settings am I using. I think I know how to wash clothes. Then says if they send someone else out I would have to pay for them to come out. She said I would need to call TX Appliance to see what they could do. I asked if there was a manger I could speak with she said no and she was customer service. I called Renee back she said she would get with her manager to see what he wants to do and she would contact me tomorrow. She got with her manager and called back later on and said the manager said it's nothing they could do so I'm basically stuck with a washing machine that is damaging/snagging my nylon items and I'm not getting reimbursed for the new items that I had just bought. Renee told me to contact Axis Appliance so now I'm getting the run around about a Speed Queen washing Machine that I paid for the same day I went in to purchase it. I will never again purchase anything from this TX Appliance or purchase a Speed Queen I could have kept my Samsung washer and dryer. I will never ever listen to anyone talk up Speed Queen because this is a piece of junk. The worst company I have ever dealt with through American Home Shield. If I could give negative 5 stars, I would! I first opened my service request to get my cooktop fixed on June 9th. The technician came promptly the first time to diagnose the problem and I was given another appointment for him to come and change the broken part. So far so good. However, after that the nightmare began. They have been coming to my house 10+ times, claiming that they need to diagnose again, then order the part, then come to replace it. And neither time it worked. More than three months later, September 18th, my stove is not fixed. Worse yet, they would claim that they came to the house and there was nobody there, so they would schedule another appointment and prolonging the already long time I have been waiting for the stove to be fixed. I tried calling the company to inquire about the status of my request, but the only person I would ever be able to speak to was the dispatcher. My many requests to get through to a manager or supervisor, or anybody from the service department, were in vain. I also had multiple calls with AHS, asking them for assistance due to the inability of the assigned contractor to fix my issue and their lack of response. I was told that there is no limit of how many times the company can come to my house trying to fix the problem and I can't switch companies. They said that there is a certain limit of how much money the company can receive, so it is obvious to me that this scam contractors are milking AHS for all they can get, while I have been left with no working stove for over three months. And the company would not issue a report or an estimate, so AHS can proceed further. I would strongly advise against using Axis Appliance Repair, Inc., if they are assigned to you by American Home Shield. This group was dispatched to us by direction of our home warranty, American Home Shield, (not recommend either) to attempt to repair our Whirlpool clothes washer. Two attempts and allegedly two replacement parts installed, washer still showing same error code. We opened this request on 7/6 all this took place first week of September. Since the washer not fixed, the warranty folks sent another team out to address washer and I think it might be fixed! The point of this review is Axis appliance did NOT fix my washer nor did they leave the original parts they said they replaced unlike the second company did as proof they did the work...I would absolutely not recommend Axis Appliance to fix any appliances. read more

American Home Shield (AHS) utilized this company to diagnosis and fix my washing machine. They did neither. They initially came out on June 9th, 2025 and said it needed a new shock absorber and it would be covered. On June 26th they came back to put in the new shock absorber but it didn't fix the problem. On July 3rd I was notified by AHS that it needed a new drum and it's not covered because this is a wear and tear item. Despite the fact that a bad sock absorber can cause the drum to bend from what I have read about this issue. So I called Axis on July 3rd and asked how much it would cost to replace the drum. They said the would talk with people in the parts department and get back with me, they didn't. I called on the morning of July 7th and was told the same thing, still no call from anyone in parts. On the afternoon of the 7th I called AHS and they called Axis and was told Axis will no longer handle this issue. So they left my high and dry. My option now is to get a second opinion about the drum, go through another company and not use AHS or get a new washing machine. It's taken 4 weeks to get to this point. Axis doesn't communicate, they totally abandoned me, didn't fix the issue and wasted my time. I'm not happy with AHS either and I suggested they take Axis off of their list of vendors. Technician agreed it was noisy and vibrating but couldn't say for sure what was causing it and he would rei=view with his "senior technicians". One week later we heard AHS had denied repair because Axis claimed there was nothing wrong with the machine!!! Axis refused to send another (senior) tech out. Scam company when you are using your Home Warrenty. Jeremy was the technician, he reported we had "rodent damage" on the control board of our dishwasher. FYI~ we DO NOT have rodents, and the control board is what is located at the top, front panel of the dishwasher. Worst service ever. I applied through my home warranty to have my fridge repaired, but the warranty company claimed the issue was purely cosmetic and not affecting the fridge's operation. The gasket is faulty, causing the door not to stay closed, which is an operational problem. Despite this, I called Axis Appliance Repair and informed them I was willing to pay out of pocket for the repair, regardless of the cost. After three follow-up calls and dealing with an overseas operator who kept giving me the same responses, I was finally told today that management had declined to service my fridge!
