Kyle seemed to be knowledgeable during our initial meeting and articulated a plan which never materialized. What was accomplished was not to my engineer's specifications, it was sloppy, poor quality, and delivered in fits and starts as if the team got in over their heads and had no clue how to manipulate material, focus on the task at hand or follow through. The net result was the team walking off the job having received most of their payment but not having delivered on the job. I wound up hiring Woody's metal and they sorted the whole thing out without any drams and in a very efficient manner in less than 10 days. I would not recommend Manchaca metals. I am including some photos that compare the quality of work delivered by Manchaca compared to the quality of work delivered by the crew I hired to replace them. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this crew for anything that requires: working against plans, precision, focus, attention, or just generally giving a damn.

I called all the machine shops in Austin…read moreand San Antonio as well as brought my cylinder head to two different machine shops to see if they could fix my 2012 L322 5.0 Supercharged Range Rover AJ133 engine valve seat that had come loose. Precision Engine Service was my last hope. Dennis reviewed the cylinder head in person and after looking at and pausing for what seemed like 5 minutes, he said he would do it. He was the only one that said he could fix it and he did it at a reasonable price. If it weren't for Dennis, I would have had to purchase a new cylinder head which is both costly and time consuming to make sure that it is machined to match the cylinder block mating surfaces. Even a used cylinder head would have been much more costly and time consuming. I'm a lifelong customer and have great respect for Dennis and his team who are true artisans of their craft.
