Neither of these answers made sense to me or were cost effective to the value of the car- so I was at a crossroads of whether to keep the car I love, or say goodbye because of the cost of the repair. Two weeks of my life that I'll never get back. Austin Transmission and Clutch Specialists saved the day- the third mechanic that I went to- and they approached my car in a professional and methodical manner. They found the part at an after market place for a quarter of the price and got it in the car the next day. They saved me a ton of money AND I am totally going to go them for my brakes and other stuff. They approach car care the way I need them to. They made phone calls on my behalf to see if the recall on the car was still valid (I sat in the office with them while they did this) and informed me of what the solution was.
