The food was delicious! The appetizer taster provided a tantalizing array of delicacies. Ziad's special chicken was an exceptional dish with such amazing flavors. I am excited to come back to try more. The ambiance is really cute I like how you can see the chefs in the first room. If thats not your speed they have a second room that is separate. The service was great! They are super nice and family owned. They included a delicious Lebanese coffee on the house.

The fresh lemonade is a must try and absolutely worth it. The safiha was beautifully presented and looked adorable, while the beef shawarma was incredibly delicious. Speaking as someone of Middle Eastern descent, I can confidently say the food here is fantastic!

My wife and I went here for the first time today. Soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated (we had made a reservation being it was Fathers Day) the had a table reserved for us. Our waiter was Cole and we asked for recommendations and he gave us a few that turned out to be perfect for what we where hoping for. The food came out fresh and in a timely manner, and it tasted amazing! The flavors and the smells of everything was wonderful for us as we haven't really had this type of food before. We had the cheese sambousek and my wife had the gyro platter and I had the iskander kab platter and to finish it all off we had Om Ali with Turkish coffee. If I could give it more stars I would! We will be back now that we've a taste there is so much more I'm looking forward too. Great service from everyone we interacted with, Fair prices for the amount of food you get (it's a lot) and the atmosphere feels welcoming and comfortable.

The food and flavors were just what we were looking for. The cold mezze was great, even though one component was sold out and subbed for something different. The portions of the skewers were a little small and the "made to order fries" weren't all that. Overall the family style service was great. The decor left a bit to be desired... specifically the roof tiles and the bathroom. Go for the food, sit at the bar and enjoy

Aya was just a short walk from our hotel, and since it's a halal restaurant with great reviews, we decided to give it a try. We were warmly welcomed by two cheerful ladies, which made for a great first impression. We ordered the lamb tagine with rice and the chicken shawarma. The lamb tagine was outstanding--flavorful and tender--while the shawarma was good as well. It's a family-owned restaurant, and you can tell the food is made with love. The ambiance was simple and cozy, giving it a nice homey feel. For dessert, we tried their cheesecake, which was delicious. To top it off, the server generously offered us Moroccan coffee on the house. The coffee was amazing, but fair warning--don't drink it at night! It kept me awake until 3 in the morning . I enjoyed the coffee so much that I went back the next day just for it, but unfortunately, they don't offer it as a takeaway.

Authentic Lebanese food ever Really the best Great service especially with authentic Lebanese family

Let me begin with the really cute establishment felt authentic. The menu was a real deal. We selected a few appetizers a couple of entrées. Everything was fresh and delicious. The hummus was amazing and the complementary coffee at the end was probably the single best shot of espresso I've ever had. Definitely recommend it if you're getting ready to come out for a night on the town or catch a concert.

My wife and I went to Aya last night for dinner. Their Valentines menu was amazing. The food is the best in Melbourne. The owners and staff always make us feel special with their great service. Aya is definitely our go-to for the best Mediterranean Cuisine anywhere.

My husband and I went there for a late lunch for a combination of early Motherhood Day and both of our birthdays! The restaurant is family -owned and both of the daughters were attentive to us, during our meal. I had tabbouleh and the lentil appetizer and my husband had dolmades for his appetizer, and I knew that from the amount of food that had arrived before our meal that one, I had ordered too much, and two, I would be bring food home!!! Steve ordered the beef shawarma platter and I ordered the Kafka platter. They both came with a saffron rice , which was mild and flavorful!! We ordered both pistachio and walnut baklava to go and were given some Lebanese coffee while we talked. We definitely enjoyed our meal and speaking with the young ladies about their culture, and will definitely be repeat customers!!!

I called in our order and they were quick to answer and the entire meal was ready when they promised. Plus, since I was wishywashy on picking sides, the gentleman told me he'd hook us up with something different for each entree. I unfortunately didn't get the name of all of them. Hummus was good. Babaganoush was tasty. There was a spicy sauce that was tasty with a bite. That was all I got to eat because the rest were lapped up by the others. We each ordered chicken a different way. I got the kabob, parents got a wrap, son got shawarma. Each came with a salad unlike any I'm used to. Lots more exotic than just tomatoes, carrots, and onions. The chicken itself was amazing. So tender, every piece. All on a bed of rice that nice held in the flavors. And the baklava: excellent. As I picked up the food, the place was beautiful inside. Lovely decor and not too big. There was a nice dessert case too. Go check this place out, it is wonderful!

We ordered the mixed grill platter- feeds 2.5 comfortably. The moussaka (eggplant stew) was 10/10. Definitely should've ordered a full portion. Sweet tooth kicked in as well so we opted for the kunafa (made with katayif and qashta) Qashta is a sweetened milk cream. Can't wait to go back and try other options. My husband mentioned the owner is super nice and welcoming. Give this place a try, especially since it is under new management. Five stars. 10/10 tastiness 10/10 service

We ordered our food to go and it took a short 15 minutes to complete- big kudos to that since we ordered a good amount of food. Now for the food- wowza for flavor! Everything was fresh, bright, and not lacked depth. We got the mixed shawarma platter (I could bathe in that hummus and oil), falafel platter, a shawarma wrap, and the muhammara with cheese manoushe. I recommend every single item. Their sauces were all homemade and hot sauce had the perfect flavor to heat ratio. The wrap was crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth on the inside. The falafel was seasoned perfectly and the mixed shawarma was very tasty. My only knock was that the shawarma could have crisped up more but that's not surprising given how busy they were. All in all a great spot that will leave your belly full and happy with plenty of leftovers!

I decided to stop in for a lunch to go and pleasantly pleased with the interior of the restaurant. I ordered a shish kebab pita with a side of garlic sauce which ran me about $12. While I waited, I saw that this place has everything from cigars and hookah which I feel like would be a nice late afternoon/early evening vibe. I did have to wait for a little under 20 minutes, however there were no customers there. I was expecting my food to be hot for the time I waited. However, it was not. The beef pieces were a bit chewy for my liking and were bland. I wish it had more seasoning or grill marks. The pita and veggies inside were fresh and the garlic sauce was the star of the show. The garlic sauce definitely elevates the pita. Based on the reviews, this place is pretty good but maybe I caught them on a bad day. I would like to try their baklava as it was staring me down during my wait for my order.
