the quality of food here was quite good, the arugula salad was extremely refreshing and the versace pizza was very good too. i tried saganaki for the first time and it was so fun and good! the scallops and eggplant parm were just okay to me, but i would definitely go back to try what else they have!

A place where you can get Greek and Italian food Four layers lasagna was prob the best dish we had out of everything we ordered. Spicy feta dip was interesting but prob would better to eat w veg or crackers. Falafel w beets sauce was nice. I like that their fried food is not greasy, flavorful. zucchini fritters comes w nice tzatziki sauce. Service was decent, fast and attentive. The restaurant was practically empty when we were there for late lunch.

Joined a friend for happy hour on Wednesday night. It was pasta night, but we just ended up getting the normal meals. Happy hour prices are amazing. We got five dollars sangrias, which were amazing. We got the cheese on fire, zucchini, pancakes, and feta fries. We eat our own pasta dishes. The bartender did seem a little overwhelmed, but she was very friendly. She was unable to tell us what kind of pasta comes in each pasta. But she could describe the different kinds of pasta. Inside was cute and quiet. A few other tables at the bar and then five or six in the restaurant part. I believe the owner was walking around. He did greet us and asked how everything was which I thought was really nice to see his presence. We will definitely be coming back for happy hour.

Beautiful room finished in light, warm colors and tones gives an indication that you are in for a wonderful meal. The sausage with whipped feta lollipop appetizer was really tasty. Our group had entrées ranging from lamb chops, which were beautifully done, to fillet mignon kebab, which was finished, medium, rare perfectly. One other in our party had scallops the only knock being, "why weren't there more"? Add to that a wonderful Assortment of textures and flavors for dessert and Turkish coffee - what a great place! We ended up having a couple of different servers which was seamless and also unobtrusive - the sign of a well, oiled restaurant. Kudos to the management for putting an emphasis there. In all, a wonderful dining experience at Ayse!

Finally made it to this restaurant that I wanted to try. The food, service and atmosphere were great. Will definitely be back.

Attentive service and delicious flavors! Lola was our server and took great care. She shared her favorite dishes and made sure we had everything we needed. The owner stopped by a few times to make sure we were having a nice time. We were taking lots of photos so he asked if I were a food critic - well of course yelps finest! The sampler platter was a great way to try all their dips and spreads. We were pleased to see they offer gluten free pitas. We also tried the brussel sprouts which had a sweet and sour drizzle. For entrees we had the fried halal chicken and the kofte. I would get the kofte again. For dessert we had the Dubai chocolate brownie which I would call a fudge - very rich! For cocktails the Raki Balboa was good. I didn't prefer the espresso martini - it was more so a Kahlua & Cream. The fresh florals are a nice touch. We would love to sit on the terrace when the weather is nice. Free Street Parking in King Farm.

Every time I went to Frederick, I at this restaurant. Then they closed. A number of years later, they opened 10 miles from me. Is it ever wonderful to have them back. We started with brussel sprouts that have little currants, and are cooked to perfection. On to saganaki flambé. Intense cheese and beandy flavors.. Mediterranean salad, and Bronzino round things out. The decor takes you to Greece, and the service is impeccable. They are a salad dining addition to the area.

We are very excited to have this restaurant in our neighborhood. The owner was very nice to come greet us as well as the managers. We arrived late, but they did a nice job of breaking out the restaurant. We ordered a lot of different things to try the margarita pizza was excellent. The lasagna you could not order next time. The soups were excellent the lentil soup and the wedding soup as well as the bread. The lamb chops needed more flavor and the pasta with red sauce was very thick. They took that back along with the lasagna. The staff are very accommodating. The ambience is nice. We will definitely make this our new neighborhood restaurant.

If you want a really good Greek mezze expiernce please go here! The food was immaculate, my husband and I went here for a date today and the food was so good. The waiter and manger came out of their way to check with us and talk us through the menu, we got the lamb chops, smash burgers with some pita and tizaki sauce everything came out so pleasant we will be back .

The vibes and decor will get you in the door, but the food will keep you coming back. Everything on the menu we tried was fantastic. Such a wide range of Mediterranean favorites plus more. The service was friendly and quick, but not rushed at all. Definitely get the dumplings (a traditional Turkish dish) that I haven't been able to find anywhere else in the DMV. 10/10 and can't wait to come back!

The biggest hit for me was the suppli appetizer. These are absolutely delicious and vegetarian friendly! Similar to arancini but somehow even more delicious. These are a must-order. I had the pasta alla vongole and a bite of my husband's chicken parmigiana. Our friend had mushroom ravioli that she loved, but I didn't try as I don't care for mushrooms. I've been on a clams and garlic kick lately for some reason and the vongole comes with these and bonus bacon. I would have preferred the bacon a tad crispier, but that is personal preference. I'd give this dish 4* - I would get it again but after trying some others. From the one bite the chicken parmigiana was a 5*. Their marinara is very good and the linguine in both our dishes tastes freshly made. We all split the chocolate temptation dessert and I ate more of it than I expected to, it is chocolate mousse adjacent cake with ganache frosting, very light, perfectly sweet. Often I find chocolate desserts too much after a big meal but this one wasn't heavy at all. 5* My friend ordered sangria which she thought was more like a wine cooler; too sweet for her French oenophile sensibilities and a bit lighter than a sangria usually is, but I am a pleb who loves sweet drinks and I would order it. If you are a sangria purist you might not care for it. Hubs enjoyed his old fashioned but said it needed a dash more bitters to be perfect. I was driving so enjoyed a non-dirty Shirley. Prices to me are reasonable for quality and portion size; our tab ended up high because of the appetizer, drinks and dessert but if you just had pizza or pasta with soda it would be pretty affordable. I will be back to get more suppli and try other dishes!

The shrimp (3 large) were good. The spinach had a nice garlic flavor and the asparagus was well prepared - not mushy. The chicken Marsala also was good. The Marsala was light (not thick) and somewhat sweet. Very good. Honestly, the bread service was pretty disappointing. Our last visit the bread was fine, but this basket was pretty dried out and almost seemed stale. The oil accompanying the bread had almost no cheese in it. The birthday girl had chicken parmigiana and a side of spaghetti. She really enjoyed her meal. Another, guest had the penne pasta and she loved hers too. There portions were very generous. We also had a guest order the Caesar salad with shrimp. It came out with dressing, when the dressing was supposed to be on the side, but our waiter was quick to remedy that. The ambiance is lovely and reminds me of my grandmother's home in Little Italy. It is old world Italian with comfortable seating. I know it was a busy night, but the one fly in our ointment was our server. There was too much of a lag between courses, and main dishes came out of the kitchen at different times. After negotiations, we ended up with the following: Goat cheese stuffed fig appetizer White lasagna w/ shrimp and crab (one of the specials) w/ roasted veggies. (It was REALLY good. I want another one. Now. Hub's drink was also tasty but I liked mine better.) Of all the dishes, my favorite was the Italian style paella. Tons of perfectly cooked seafood in a delicious broth with angel hair. Liht and delicious. The white lasagna was also delish but the dominant flavor was the mozzarella; the seafood didn't come through as much with this one. But I absolutely loved the roasted vegetables it came with. Sometimes the simple dishes are the best. The figs were quite tasty, it's hard to go wrong with goat cheese. I think I get dates and figs confused because they weren't quite what I expected but I enjoyed them. The service was friendly and pretty fast. There are still a bunch of dishes there I want to try so I will try to get back on another date night before too long and order something different. Small negatives - it was a tad warm in the restaurant but given that it was HOT A.F. outside, I will cut them slack on that. Also, I wouldn't have minded a small amount of bread with the meal, maybe you have to order it and I just didn't notice? Unfortunately, no attention was given to me as a customer. Another customer arrived after me, and instead of helping me first, they spent about ten minutes speaking with that person while I continued waiting. I stood there for nearly fifteen minutes while my pizzas were getting cold, with absolutely no regard for customer service or the fact that I had been waiting first.
