I…read morethink the GPS led us to the residential area parking and there's no parking there for the public so my boyfriend left me there and I thought he meant that I should just go there myself and there is NO signal here so I had no idea where he was at for over an hour and he was so close to calling the city to report a lost child lol. We went in the mid morning and it's a fairly bright, well lit path there that's not too far or difficult and there were lots of other hikers and travelers so at no point did I feel like something bad was going to happen. The farm is also true to its name because I did get to see a momma deer and her baby right at the entrance of the farm near the barn picnic table area. Neat! It's a great place to see animals too since aside from the deer and farm animals I saw a quail and its chicks, as well as lots of ground squirrels. The chicken are in a coop and pen but some hop out and walk around the farm. Love to see the pigs, sheep, goats, cow, bunnies, ducks and geese too. Would love to one day see the farm cats. There's lots of informative signs and flyers throughout the farm of all reading levels and how much information are on them, and there's small interactive parts too and you learn about the work that goes into working on a farm and what these animals provide for people. The docents and volunteers are also very helpful and are happy to answer questions. Lots of benches and seats in the shade too so you can sit back and take in the scenery and the animals hanging out. You can see the little gardens that they have there and I guess on some days some of the other buildings are open too. I don't mind coming back, but this time, I won't make that same entrance mistake again.

Pros: - Length of time / it's an all-day camp from 8:30-3:30. - Variety of activities / they stay indoors most of the day either playing in the play structure area or in the party room doing arts and crafts. However, they also have a designated area in the spacious parking lot to do activities as well so the kids do get fresh air outside. - Staff / the camp counselors are AWESOME! Super patient, friendly, and sweet to the kids. Ms. Yadira, Zoe, and Jojo need a raise. They were SO good to the kids! - Drive-thru drop-off and pick-up line / except for the first day of camp, you can use the drive-thru line for the rest of the week. Very convenient, safe, and fast since there's one staff member with the sign-out sheet and another staff member helps with loading or unloading the kids. - Communication / prior to camp, we received a detailed email that included information on timing, activities, and themes for the week. We knew exactly what to expect each day. - Photo privacy / they take photos and videos to post to their social media accounts, but if you want to opt your kids out, they honor that easily. - Snacks / two snacks were provided each day, but you bring your own lunch from home Cons: Can't think of any! It feels much more spacious and creative than other DIY spots we've visited. We've since gone back for camps and casual weekend visits, and she always finds something new she wants to make. The custom comic book and stuffie stations are especially fun and unique. The staff has also been consistently kind, patient, and helpful every time we've been there. The staff was absolutely wonderful with the children. They were patient, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the rabbits they care for. The open field is nice for activities like kite flying, but again, no barriers meant constant redirection. Also worth noting: the dog park is right next to the baby swings and restrooms, and parking is very limited and easy to miss. Overall, some nice features, but the lack of safety made it more stressful than enjoyable for us.
