They insisted that I install some stupid app on my phone and establish an account (who knows where) BEFORE selling me the tickets. Naturally establishing an account required providing personal contact information. All this nonsense was going on as other people were waiting in line to approach the box office. I flatly refused and was only then (and begrudgingly) sold 4 paper tickets. It then took 2 or 3 passes for each of us to get thru the metal detectors. WTF! i'm not trying to get into the oval office. Just trying to experience a 2nd rate team playing a 2nd rate sport. At the very least I expected a welcoming reception. Major fail. I'm not going back.

Outdoor soccer rink, skate park, two inline hockey rinks, amole parking, hiking trail, picnic area, frisbee golf, etc. This place is HUGE. OC ppl...it's Irvine Regional Park huge! Hockey rinks are unfortunately super dirty so the pucks kept sliding at a slower capacity and getting halted in the boards. All in all a great facility!

They make up rules on the fly and do not stay true to the rules they set out. You say something to the owner Jesse and he brushes it off and doesn't care. The league is not fun and too expensive. You pay ref fees only to be treated like crap. Such a trash unfair league. Never again will I play in an echo athletics event or recommend anyone to them. Very disappointed that the city of Carlsbad let's this happen.

Our team has played an entire season and not had a consistent "set of rules". Today out catcher had to call out the ump about a strike that was clearly a strike he at least changed mind and called it what it was. There seams to not me a consistent judging of what is a playable ball and what should be a foul ball. He actually said some of his calls were "my rules". The game is super fun but it is just not run fairly. In my opinion if we had the same umpire again I would recommend to the team we unite and say we will not play with him making the calls.

My 8 year old loves baseball and wants to play so bad, but we can't commit to the 4 day practice/game commitment of Little League, and it's hard to find any other baseball programs around this area for elementary aged kids. My 8 year old was a little old for the 5-7 program, but Coach allowed him to still participate since there were other 7 year olds in it. He had such a great time! It was a very positive environment, Coach gave good tips to improve technique, and his assistant coaches were kind and talented; I think they were high school kids who play on teams. It's always great to see older kids investing time in the younger generation. I highly recommend this program!

I spoke with Coach Donald Duck (Doug), and he was incredibly kind and willing to come out to our neighborhood to host a class. Unlike other programs we have tried that required a minimum number of participants, Coach Doug's main focus was simply teaching and coaching the kids. His passion really shines through. He is wonderful with the children. He is friendly, kind, and even a little silly to keep them engaged, while still having the right balance of discipline. He teaches the kids to listen, follow directions, and be kind to one another. Best of all, he actually teaches them real skills for the sport. It is not just running around. He designs fun games that incorporate the skills they are learning, which keeps the kids excited and motivated. Overall, Phoenix Sports has been such a positive experience for our family. We are definitely planning to continue with them and cannot wait to try out the other sports they offer.

Someone mentioned that they should stop offering these, and I agree. I took my 4.5yr old for a trial and I can't say what they do during their classes because in order to see them, you have to literally press your face against the building to see from outside. My coworker took her daughter for a trial class before mine and her experience was not a positive but completely different than mine. Her husband at least got to walk her their daughter back to the area where the kids would be. Whereas I had to just shove mine through the door while they were shouting "red room!" There is no rollcall, they never even asked my daughters name so it's amazing. They knew who she was or why we were even there.

The visibility of the young children group is compromised (parents forced to awkwardly peek in from the outside tinted windows), which is unnerving for any parent (see other unfortunate reviews here and on Google). Given the awkward layout of an industrial park floor plan, they have CCTV footage but it's awful. With simple outreach(I work in IT), this is a solved problem... Additionally, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired, with a noticeable odor reminiscent of dirty feet, which we have not experienced in our new gym. I truly hope improvements can be made because I would love to see this business succeed and thrive.

Our son was playing the late game and I had to use the restroom badly, I walk outside to find the cleaning lady behind the locked restroom cleaning up. I stood outside until she opened the door she never gave me eye contact and continue to take her mop and broom and trash out, I then asked her if it was cleaned and open and she really looked at me and said nope it's closed. I have to use the restroom where at least an hour until the game is over.. behind me is a little girl starting to cry and holding herself because she had to go to the bathroom. I went up to the front desk to someone who barely acknowledged me or gave me any type of eye contact it was counting cash and I explained the situation she rudely said she would have her open it. What kind of place closes the bathroom 1 hour before a game is over after paying $15 a day for the facility? Once the game was over the owners of people who work here quickly try to scoot us out of the building before my son was even taking his shoes off. Day two, I'm here for another late game it's 7:00 p.m. local time and I go to the snack bar after being here 10 minutes and it closed and shut down now I'm not able to purchase the water or any snacks. Rude owners, just want the money.

My sons play every season and we have had good and bad seasons.. but they learned from each one! They both play year around (Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter), because they love it so much! There is recreational and competitive in this league. So if you have a beginner start off at recreational. And if you have a son or daughter that is advanced, they can try out for competitive. My oldest plays competitive and youngest does recreational. They both love it! They have this league all over San Diego, but the best it is in Santee! Friday nights lights and beer garden there. Fun for parents and kids! Can't go wrong with that! Remember, this league has volunteering parents that are coaches, so you have to be patient. There are some that have been coaching for years and some that are brand new. The more your child plays.. they will establish a team. My boys play between two different teams sometimes depending on the season. During sign-ups, you can do coach and/or friend requests, so bring a friend! Staff is great. Never had any issues! My 2 year old son has been attending the Toddler (parent & me) class for the past year and I cannot…read moresay enough great things about this gymnastics center. First of all, the coach and owner Mrs. Angela, is a phenomenal teacher and truly cares for her students. She knows all the kids' names, she always has a ton of positive energy that is perfect for kids, and she knows just what to say to motivate and talk to young kids to keep them engaged. She is amazing and my son talks about her throughout the week because he is always so excited to see her on Wednesdays. I like that the class is structured, yet flexible enough to accommodate individual differences in children's energy levels and ability to sit and attend. There is no judgement for children who have more energy, who might not be listening as well as others, or who might be having an off day. They do a really good job with meeting kids where they're at and then appropriately challenging them. One of the reasons I enrolled my son in this class was to learn coordination and body awareness, which he has definitely done, but I also love that they teach gymnastics skills in the Toddler class (like real gymnastics moves that you would think only the older kids can do). At first my son couldn't do any of them, but as he watched Mrs. Angela and practiced them, he quickly caught on and was doing moves that I had no idea he could do at 2 years old! A lot of the moves they practice are also the building blocks for higher level gymnastic moves (hand stands, cartwheels, bar and floor work) and it's amazing to watch him progress towards being able to do these moves. He is not only becoming more coordinated and learning what his body can do, he is learning some impressive gymnastics skills! They do a great job of teaching to kids who are at different levels since kids can practice doing as much of the move as they can and as they get better, they are getting closer to the full move. The best part about this class is it's fun. I get excited for our gymnastics day and so does my son. It makes me so happy to see him having a good time and being proud of himself for mastering challenging skills. They have a big trampoline, bars, rings, spring boards, balance beam, a toddler area, foam pieces to climb over or go under, ladders to climb, mats to somersault on, and fun songs the kids get to dance and sing to while working their body. The class has a lot of repetition to help kids learn and master moves, however each class is different than the last to keep kids from getting bored. SoCal is amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a positive gymnastics experience. We love Mrs. Angela but I have head that the other teachers are great too!
