He was kind and super efficient both times, gave me tips for how to prevent it, and even gave me supplies for aftercare. However, I'm giving his business two stars because of the receptionists in the front. Even though I had a referral from my doctor, and showed them my insurance card, they refused to take it, making me pay over $500 out of pocket. They never asked me over the phone for my insurance, nor when I arrived 15 minutes ahead of time for my appointment, even though this is standard procedure at literally every medical office I've ever been to. I'm not sure if they assumed that because I paid out of pocket the first time, I would do it again (didn't have insurance at that time), but I hadn't been to the center in over *2 years*. It's just so weird that they didn't think to double-check, and then they proceeded to blame me for not bringing it up, giving me an attitude and everything. Based on the whole experience, I really should give one star but Dr. Weingarten was great, so two stars it is.

He explained everything clearly and made what could have been a stressful day feel easy and smooth. And as a bonus (because my sister & I requested fun photos of surgery) he used his meta glasses to take photos and document how the surgery went, which was definitely a highlight to wake up to after surgery. I googled her name and the name of the business she left in the automated message and got to their main line. I asked the receptionist if someone from their office had called my work line and I gave her the number that had called ME. I was put on hold while her staff investigated, then the receptionist came back on line and said she didn't know what number that was. I then called the number that called my work phone, on my cell phone so that the receptionist could hear the message but this time I got through. A female answered, I'm assuming it's Dr Kawam, and she was incredibly rude and condescending. I explained to her that I was returning her call and she asked if I was a telemarketer, to which I told her no. I tried explaining to her that I was simply returning HER call and she then repeated several times that she was blocking my number. All I tried to do was return a phone call. I'm not even a patient of hers and I got a taste of what her personality is like.
