This is by far the nicest place I have been too for my gun and ammo needs! It's a quite cute yet little personal place with a very very very nice staff! They were super knowledgeable and very friendly. I just recently purchased a handgun online and this was the closest location to me that it could be shipped too! After just leaving the worst experience ever at a store located in Ahwatukee google suggested AZ Guns the next store in my location that was open late on a Sunday. Soon as I walked in I was greeted by both associates Tim and Rob I believe his name was. They both asked how could they help and of course I told them what I wanted and what pistols I've had in the past. Spoke to both individually to get an idea on what to buy. They both suggested the Glock family since their well made and has the options of upgrading parts if I ever wanted to customize. After a couple hours and looking at my price range they showed me plenty of pistols. They did recommend to stay away from the budget pistols and made a great point that don't leave with something you won't be happy with which is something I believe in period. 30 minutes before closing and both were super patient I selected the Glock 19 gen 4. They made sure i knew the whole safety protocol even though it wasn't my first rodeo with a pistol. From start to finish they both had excellent customer service from the time I walked in to the time I walked out. I see there's mix reviews on the store and the associates and everyone has their own thing but my experience was awesome and I would definitely be back and refer friends and family to come. I wanted to post up my recommendation for Brandon and AZGuns after having a very nice first experience with them this morning while purchasing a Glock43. I am the kind of consumer that always tries to do my research before purchasing and after spending the past month calling local gun shops that are well-favored in the area to purchase my Glock I found one common theme amongst them; while they are very friendly when you are in-front of them and travel to their door to make a purchase the real issue is in the follow-through. The 43 is in hot demand these days and prices are all over the board and in doing my research I found that the four closest gun shops didn't stock it due to this high demand. When talking to the various clerks they all suggested that I call back on the next business day to ask about availability and timeframes for delivery. In each case I followed back up on the next business day to inquire about the ordering process and timelines. In all four cases outside of AZGuns none of them got back to me, even after multiple calls and inquiries. I guess business must be just that good for other shops. I will say this as a consumer who frequently spends multiple thousands of dollars annually with trusted shops like AZ Guns that price isn't always my motivating factor for repeat business. In fact I would say that cost is one of the lower-rung reasons for my repeat business. My biggest thing is that you are prompt at getting back to me and that you aren't afraid to go the extra step to bring me back in the door. My transaction with Brandon and AZGuns took a week; I called them and they called me right back about the ordering process. I then put a deposit into their system and the gun arrived a week later. My transaction took 15 minutes and came with pleasant chatter and it was obvious that that these guys are expanding their business and hoping to solve some of the issues I have found while trying to spend my money elsewhere. The Sig Sauer store next door- owned by the same folks as AZ guns is fantastic and convenient if you're a Sig fanboy and likes to customize your guns. Has a lot of OEM parts from Sig online store at the same exact price. These items/ parts would cost an arm and a leg at the gunsmith or any other garden variety gun stop. I should know because I got the same exact item (parts kit for a P226/229) at C2 tactical down the street for 2x the price! The staff are all Sig armors and really knows their stuff. They even safety inspect your Sig firearms free of charge. When I need anything Sig- this is my go to store. read more

Great experience! Matt and Chris were the best! My wife and I knew what we wanted when we came in and the guys were very helpful. Very upset with a more recent encounter there, went in to buy a very popular gun. And I ended up getting the run around which in turn caused me to spend literally a lot of extra money trying to correct what the employees saw as a "discrepancy" however when I contacted another local gun store [whom of course didn't have this firearm in stock] they all told me it would be fine and no problem with what this business saw as a problem. The majority of my frustration came from the fact that I knew I could legally obtain this firearm and I was willing to give them the full amount of money just to hold it while I pleased their needs. But they of course declined and to make matters worse. As soon as I got all this unnecessary paperwork done and started to drive back across town, I called just to be sure the gun was there and what do you know they sold it. They could be giving away free guns and money I still won't be giving them any of my business nor will I recommend this place to anyone looking to make a purchase. read more

Semi-offensive but we brushed it off, then we continued to look around to see if they had the gun we were looking for.
