Bought my first gun here a few days ago. After months of researching guns and talking to people, I decided on a Glock 19 and went in to buy one. The guy at the shop asked if I had gotten a chance to shoot one, and I told him I hadn't thought to. He advised I do, due to the fact that some people hate how Glocks feel, so I went out and tested a few different brands and models. I was glad I did, because I discovered the Glock 17 felt much better to me in comparison to the other guns I also shot. I returned to buy one promptly, and couldn't be happier with the service. Went here 2 weeks ago  because of the online reviews I have read and very glad I did.  I knew exactly what I wanted, A Beretta PX4 INOX 9mm Compact... but the online catalog (not just on their site but everyone else who l links to the distributor listings) was confusing.  The description didn't match the picture and the UPC code was iffy.  The guys at the shop patiently looked online at other sites and agreed the the UPC was correct but the description and picture was incorrect.  I was hesitant to order not being 100% sure what was what but they assured me if the gun didn't show up exactly how i wanted it to be, they would make it right.  That put me at ease and two days later the INOX PX4 showed up.  Never had a background check done, that took maybe 20 minutes and I was out the door.  Oh, did I mention I bought the more expensive stainless slide version from AZ Guns for LESS THAN what the other big box stores around here are asking for the standard black version!  Saved me 50 or 60 bucks at least.  I will definitely be back when I'm ready for my GP100 or S&W 686! read more

So as of 2/13 I have the following update for the company to my prior review. First of all I want everyone to know I was not asked to write a better review in exchange for anything, I was not asked to change my review at all but I have decided to. This morning the owner of the store met me for coffee to not only apologize for what happened but to also hear the full story and to get recommendations on how they can better improve so this doesn't happen again. The owner was sincere and since we both come from a military background we both seemed to have that mentality. I was in the army 9 years as a communications NCO so you can imagine how important I find communication with one another to be. Long story short the owner said he had already started making changes and I commend him for that because he really does care about his customers. My one piece of advice that I think is most important to any business is customer service and simply greeting people, i really believe this will make or break a company. So again thank you Brandon for taking the time out of your busy schedule and meeting with us. One of these days when I'm ready for my next gun I'm willing to give you guys another chance. I bought my first gun from AZguns. They have the best prices on guns online that I can find. While their physical shop doesn't have a lot on display, their online store is very, very comprehensive. You purchase the items online and they will contact you when it's ready for pickup (lucky for me I live in Chandler). You can also have it shipped: if it's a gun you can have it shipped to another dealer and if it's ammo, magazines or something else then you can have it shipped directly to you. read more

I have been slowly looking for an AR15 rifle for about two years. I have tried to get as much information from different stores with little help. I even considered buying a gun in Montana next time I as there because of the service at a store in a small town. Most of the stores here locally seemed to be put off by not knowing as much as they do and seemed arrogant. There are many brands and choices out there. After about 20 minutes of discussion with AZGUNS, I knew what I wanted and a week later I bought a rifle from them at an amazing price. It was cheaper than buying it online and sending it to an FFL dealer. I felt the service was beyond measure and am appreciative for the time and advice given. I've been to AZ Guns at least 6 times and until today I've always walked away happy. My trip today--not so much. I picked up my shotgun that I had ordered last week (a cheap Chinese made lever action shotgun cause I don't have one). Okay so the guy behind the counter didn't sell it to me. Why the attitude? The impression I got was that if I were purchasing a single box of 22 long rifle bullets he would have been more helpful. I was also looking to buy a clip for my 303 Enfileld which I brought in with me. He recommended that I go to another shop. I explained that not only did they list the mags on their website but that the last person said just bring in the weapon to identify what type mag it took. He was surprised that it was advertised on their website but went on to explain that because the rifle was not on its original stock I should still look elsewhere--admittedly to insure it would fit. To further discourage my interest he pointed out that if I ordered a clip and it was not the correct one, I would have to pay a 20% restock fee. Now on any other day that would be NO BIG DEAL but when you total the entire experience your right buddy I'll go some where else no problem. read more

Great, experience. I went to AZguns just to look not to buy. All the staff helped each other and helped me as i requested to hold different handguns. Due to their knowledge and customer service I ended up buying a handgun not just one but 2! Before I purchased the weapon i looked on my cell phone if i could find a better price and i did not. This place is okay but lacking for my individual tastes. The people are friendly, but they never have anything in stock (low on hand inventory). When I go out to buy a firearm, I want to leave with it that day instead of ordering it and waiting days to receive my product. I get that some people are okay with that, but I expect more from brick and mortar locations I buy from. read more

Was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Received a call telling me it was ready for pickup within minutes of receiving a shipment delivered email from Fedex. Saw a ad for a m&p shield on slickguns.com for a very reasonable price, much lower than the local competitors. I was even more drawn to this place knowing the shop was local and I didn't have to wait for it to be shipped and pay a transfer fee. Once at the shop, which is a little hard to locate at first, I was met with a guy named Brandon. Brandon was a cool cat, he was one of those guys that are down to earth and made me feel welcomed. The whole time while filling out paperwork we were talking non stop, laughing and joking...one of the things that I like about this cat, I wanted his opinion on the Taurus G2 milli because I was debating before I bought the shield. A lot of people are not a fan of Taurus...he wasn't biased at all...kept a very neutral/positive opinion and basically stated its ultimately up to the buyer and their preference. I was actually scheduled to work that day, but called out because Brandon was making my gun buying experience a cool one...will defiantly be back..already looking on azguns.com for a gun in 'Tiffany Blue' for wifey...geesh, this should be fun.. read more
