They let us know what needed to be done and the cost involved depending on what we decided to do. Absolutely, no pressure at all. We decided even though it was a very fair price to get it fixed, we decided to go with a new vacuum. They have a great store with lots of great vacuums, air purifiers, and even coffee machine. We took our Kirby vacuum to AZ Vacuums for a service and I honestly wish more businesses operated like this one. The owner was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. He greeted us with a genuine smile and treated us like old friends. After looking over our vacuum, he told us it was in great shape and didn't try to upsell us on unnecessary packages. He was refreshingly honest and transparent, which immediately built trust. We left our vacuum with him and a few days later it was ready to go. When we picked it up, he walked us through helpful tips on how to use it properly to avoid unnecessary wear and tear. It truly felt like a throwback to the days of mom and pop shops where customer service actually meant something. We'll absolutely use AZ Vacuums again. Such friendly and warm service! I happened to be in the area and remembered that I needed a specific cloth vacuum bag for my Riccar Vibrance and decided to pop in to see their selection. Luckily, they had both paper and cloth bags that would work in my vacuum. The owner even opened a bag of the cloth ones so I could feel the material and compare it to what we already have at home. Not inexpensive, but they give the highest filtration available of all vacuum bags, so I bought them. So glad I walked in! The owner is very kind and helpful, and did not push one product over another. In fact, he pointed out that the paper-based bags are 1/2 the price of the cloth ones and work perfectly for most people. But, with 2 dogs at home and individuals with allergies and sensitivities, I still decided to go with the cloth ones. However, I appreciated his insights! read more

When I walked in, I was greeted with two very big smiles, and automatically they commented on the lousy steam cleaner I was trying to bring in to be serviced. New to the area I relied on reviews for a new vacuum. I've owned 2 vacuums a Kirby and Electrolux over 40 years. I wish I could remember the owners name. Ready to buy a new vacume he asked if I had mine with me he might be able to fix it. I happen to have it in the car to donate. Turns out their was a clog where I could not reach. Highly recommended. Went in to ask a few questions regarding Backpack Vacuums for home use. Walked out with a ProTeam Vacuum, a lot of information, and some confidence that I've made a solid choice. It's why we all need to shop local more, Amazon and often great, but lack the information, and the experience you need when you're trying to figure out what to do, trying to learn... Never thought buying a vacuum cleaner would be fun, but yeah had a really good time talking to both Matt and John. Learned a lot. Had an excellent experience with AZ Vacuums recently. My Dyson was having suction issues and having 3 dogs, 2 cats and 2 girls with long hair in the same house who can blame it? That's a lot of shedding going on. Luckily, I brought in my Dyson and they were able to clean it up and do some regular maintenance on it. They said it needed a part replacement and called me to confirm I'd like to go through with the repair. My 10 year Dyson was making a noise that wasn't right. I went into AZ Vacuums and was greeted by the 2 nicest men ever. They said they would look everything over and get back to me in a day or so. This place is the BEST! Last year they did a repair on an old Electrolux I had for years. They brought it back to life and saved me a fortune. I see nothing but five star ratings here, and here comes another one. I'm 68 and a disabled Vet. I stopped in before visiting the Safeway to see about a belt for my Hoover Convertible. When I said I would be back on Wednesday; after receiving my SS check, the father said to tell his son to waive the $5.00 service fee for them to install the belt. I'm just not strong enough to pull that belt on anymore. Age will do that to you LOL Vacuum seems to work better than ever. I guess it's like food tasting better when someone else cooks it for you. What a nice thing for them to have done for me. In all fairness - the son is strong enough to have put that sucker on in a NY minute. And I just paid for the two-belt package. Popcorn Ball. Cleaning up a spill of white cheddar popcorn on the living room rug our little Meli was doing just fine. Until Meli could take no more. Figuring keeping the hose very straight with a long rod would enable some relief, then nothing. Off to AZ Vacuums. John was quite kind and understanding, explaining he must perform an operation. He reported upon his return from the operating room a sort of vacuum hose tracheotomy was performed. The result was a very nice white cheddar popcorn ball - John saved Meli! I have taken a Masterbuilt high heat vacuum here to have repaired. They are the only place in the valley out of eight vacuum shops that can repair this specific make and model. The other vacuum shops in Scottsdale & Phoenix had no clue of where to begin in repairing one! Seriously it is just a high end shop vac that allows high heat to enter through it while getting the job done. I work for a Crematory where we use this type of vacuum to suck up the fine cremated remains off the retort floor. My husband & I live in an RV and are installing a central vacuum. Needing a 2 inch flexible hose, we were having a time finding exactly what we needed. In our search to find it we contacted AZ Vacumms. We went to the shop where we were lead to the back of the store and look at some "odds & ends" hoses he had. I think it was the store owner/manager. He gave us one to help us out and was extremely kind, helpful. If I was needing a "normal" vacuum, I would purchase it from AZ Vacuum. If he would do that for someone whom he knows isn't going to purchase anything from him, I would trust him to sell me a vacuum. Should our circumstances change, I will go to him. I can't say enough nice things about the professionals at AZ Vacuums. I took my Riccar vacuum in for servicing because it was making a high-pitched squealing sound. I've had it repaired in the past at a different Riccar dealer, but AZ Vacuums is closer to my home, so I thought I'd give them a try. I left my machine for the gentleman to diagnose the problem and I had a phone call telling me what the issue was before I'd even made it home. It turned out that a part that enables to brushes to turn had broken, causing the whir. Naturally, the didn't have the part, but assured me they could find it. After waiting only 30 minutes, I received another phone call and they had the part in hand. I was told they'd purchased the part from one of their competitors for $39.95 and that would be the sum of my bill; no pick-up charge, no labor, etc. My vacuum was rebuilt with the fresh part and running like new the very same day and I couldn't be happier with the service I received from AZ Vacuums. I highly recommend them for any vacuum repairs or new vacuum sales. read more

I needed a new $100+ roller bar that took a week to arrive. No problem. The problem was when we got the vacuum back it was missing an important screw and had a hard-to-remove yellow AZ Vacuums sticker on the front. Not cool. I called to ask about the screw, and the son didn't even offer an apology for the hassle. They also refused to let me keep or have a copy of what was done.
