The place had a nice set up with very specific detail to their lighting all over the place. They had a soft opening "warning" sign to please excuse any mishaps which we encountered 1 as they gave us the wrong pastry but got it replaced as they put the one we opened back into the case. Seemed to have been a lil confused as to what our dessert was but we got the right one in the end Having the Azal signature & Biscoff latte as drinks, the Azal was quite light where I probably could have had more coffee taste in it but it had nice flavors and a bunch of sesame seeds floating on top. The Biscoff one tasted good. Well, where do I start. Needed a coffee spot to quickly talk about a few work matters. Searched the area and found this place. Overall rating and based on the pictures I decided to go and visit. Arrived and it was mostly a younger crowd, which isn't a terrible thing as they weren't making noise it just wasn't as quiet as I would have liked. Finding a spot was not an easy task and it's not because there wasn't a spot but it's because the place was not clean. There were pieces of food/crumbs on the floor and in all the seats. Because it was an impromptu meeting and my meeting partner arrived I reluctantly stayed. Ordered their signature coffee which I didn't like nor did I finish it. I then ordered a mango/dragonfruit refresher which was good. I ordered a brownie like dessert which was very rich and tasty. While in conversation, I did notice other people having to wipe their chairs before they sat as well. Unfortunately the presentation and the chair/table quality just aren't for me. Wow! The ambiance is stunning as soon as you enter and spotless with everything sparkling! Now on to the latte-I was torn between ordering a pistachio and the biscoff so the friendly and helpful staff helped me choose the biscoff latte-it was perfectly balanced not too sweet and the blend was delicious! I've been dying for this place to open to give it a try! Came in and I felt like I wanted into a different world! It's so pretty and fancy inside!! Workers were kind and seemed to be working hard to keep up with the orders and keeping the place clean. The place was packed! They had nice jazz sounding music playing inside. This place has a really nice, lively energy with a bright, refreshing interior design. I stopped by around 3 PM on a rainy Saturday and caught a brief lull, making it easy to grab a table. However, it filled up fast--soon there were no seats left and people were standing around waiting for tables to open up. The ordering setup is a bit confusing. Having just one kiosk creates a bottleneck, especially since several menu items aren't even listed on it. While you can order in person, it's not obvious because no one is stationed at the register, and nobody greets you when you walk in. It's entirely self-serve, and when you're done, it's unclear whether you should buss your own table or leave your glass behind. That said, the atmosphere felt authentic, with a great, diverse crowd. I tried their signature coffee, which was very unique--it reminded me of chai, but with a smoother texture, a mint aftertaste, and what seemed to be toasted sesame seeds on top. Another Yemeni coffee shop in the area and I ain't complaining!! The shop itself is beautiful and big - most of the tables are only for two seats with a few being able to fit a group! So definitely better for a coffee date. Service was nice, coffee was great. The menu is full of wonderful options for everyone - coffee, tea, matcha, refreshers and more! Mixed review.... On the surface the interior is very pleasing . However once you start looking around it's very dirty - many tables were not clean, used dishes/cups/trays left at the tables for a long time, dirty floors including a squashed bug, crumbs under most tables and dirty carpet by the doors and dirty windows. I suggest they hire a busser and cleaner. It's a beautiful place but needs some care, coffee and waffle were tasty and they will add sandwiches to the menu soon. May try it again but after a few months. Staff is friendly. read more

Azal Coffee is a great addition to the Cranes Roost area of Altamonte Springs! Not only is the vibe great, but they also offer a lot of different options than a typical coffee shop. This place has such a great aesthetic, but the food and Customer Service match it just as much. I came on a Friday afternoon and although the place is packed and the parking lot was super congested it was absolutely worth it when I came in. There was a lot of people, but it goes quick. The seating was 80% full but again that rotates out just as quickly. I was able to order one of the suggested summer specials, which was a strawberry Matcha and it came out beautifully. I did get it to stay but couldn't finish it same with my dessert and I was able to get to go cup with out hesitation I saw people ordering all types of coffee. I've never heard of, and I can't wait to come back and try it. I am still sipping on my Matcha hours later and it taste just as good. It's really strange how the ice didn't even water down a flavor. I don't live close but I can tell if I did. This would be my goal to spot now for a small Matcha and slice of cheesecake came up to about $18 but it was worth every penny of it. read more

We visited this café on July 4 because we were excited to try it after hearing about it. We came with high expectations and ordered two espressos and one baklava to go. The food was excellent, but unfortunately the service was extremely disappointing. The café was not busy, yet it took about 20 minutes to receive two simple espresso drinks and one pastry. There were several servers and at least two or three baristas working, so the wait felt unnecessarily long. What surprised us even more was that someone who appeared to be an off-duty employee walked up to the barista, verbally requested a drink, and received it before our order, even though we had been waiting much longer. While we were still waiting, some of the baristas and servers were eating in the kitchen instead of preparing waiting orders. The dining area also needed attention, and the complimentary lemon water pitcher was empty. The food itself was delicious, which makes this even more disappointing. However, the staff appeared poorly trained and lacked professionalism. With better organization and employee training, this café has the potential to be excellent. read more

First and foremost I am from the tristate so my opinion is based on competitive real eateries. Let's start with the place is filty. The floor and tables are all full of crumbs. There is only 1 ordering system which holds things up. The staff isn't friendly. The bathroom looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a month and no changing table. They ran out of clean plates and glasses.....so the presentation that we were looking for wasn't there. But if there isn't any clean anything then...can you imagine what their kitchen looks like? No thank you for ordering or coming in or any sense of appreciation. Still ordered a few things but will not be coming back. It's great for the area since it's very vanilla but for us who frequent middle Eastern spots throughout Jersey and the city not worth the prices.
