I came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty empty but there was a good flow of people coming in and out. I had never been here and was excited to try the sandwiches. I didn't realize they also have a wide variety of pastries and offer coffee. I ordered a Banh Mi chicken sandwich and small coffee. The sandwich was really good! It was flavorful with tons of veggies in it and I love nice fresh veggies in my sandwich. There is a sticky sauce that is very tasty. Next time I will probably get it on the side or ask for a light amount of it. For the average person the amount will probably be fine. I just have very particular taste buds. I ordered a Taro Boba which was delicious, but the mochi donut was either out all day, or just pales in comparison to the old Dochi Donut location on Mills. This store is next to the Whole Foods in Altamonte Springs. Everything has a previously frozen vibe to it. Their mochi donuts must have been cooked in old oil that was also too cold because they were greasy and tasted like fair food. The cost of their chilled desserts are also a bit high. Everyone I talked to was great and attentive. And took their time to explain menu offerings, etc. I went with the B1 - Special Combo with double the meat. Go big or go home. It was really good, yes, it could've used a bit of seasoning, but that is my preference, since I'm a fan of extra seasoned food. Nothing wrong with the sub. The veggies were super fresh as well. Oh, and the fries....they are fantastic. They also sell teas, and desserts (they have a TON). I'll definitely go back if given the opportunity. Was so good!! They have cell service, bakery options. The lady let me know that those are all made fresh daily in-house. Got a large Vietnamese tea or coffee. It was delicious. Also got a Korean corn dog half hotdog half cheese so crunchy 10 out of 10 would have it again. The space itself was very open and had a good atmosphere. The music was a great volume and it was easy to have a conversation with your food mate. I found this spot after doing a random Yelp search for tea when I was in Altamonte. This place came up as the closest spot to where I was it was right across the street. I looked at some pictures for the teas & liked what I saw so I drove over. The decor inside is beautiful, there is allot of picture opportunities. The young man working the register could sense that I was new based off my questions so he recommended the Lychee fresh tea, you have to choose a base tea (green or black) he recommended green tea because it's less bitter. I also ordered a grilled pork croissant ( also his recommendation) & I ordered a Pate Chaud ( puff pastry with meat). My order was completed quickly ( about 7 mins.) I ate the pastry and begin drinking my tea right away. Both were delicious. The sandwich I ate once I got home it was good very filling. I noticed they sell Korean corn dogs on the wknd so I came back on the wknd and ordered another tea , this time passion fruit and 2 Korean corn dogs with the flavors hot Cheeto half & half ( half hot dog half mozzarella). It was good & very cheesy , on my second visit it was very busy it took an about 20 mins to get my corn dogs. I stopped by the bakery/restaurant on Friday, December 16, 2022. I've been to the original location in the Mills/50 area of Orlando and my curiosity steered me into driving a few miles North. Upon entering I was greeted by a friendly cashier and ordered their Grilled Pork Bahn Mi (minus Jalapenos) and a Vietnamese Coffee. I have to say the sandwich was one of the best versions of the Vietnamese staple I've eaten. The baguette was warm and nicely toasted, the grilled pork was flavorful and the pickled daikon and carrots were freshly cut. It goes without saying the coffee was excellent and potent. Since I came before the lunch rush I also had the wonderful opportunity to speak to the owner of the Altamonte Springs location, Luan, who explained the company's business model and his vision for his particular restaurant. He also wanted me to tour his kitchen and see the operations in the back of the house. I witnessed firsthand the cleanliness of his establishment extended not only to the public dining area but also throughout the entire restaurant. I could see and smell the baked bread and the preparation of ingredients for the various menu items.
