The Starbucks/Gelato shop is a great touch, and the in-house restaurant, Longboards, was a delightful place to grab breakfast and lunch. Bonus, if you have IHG Food &. Beverage rewards, you can stack them to pay when you check out, if you charge the meals and drinks to your room. The elevators were fast, and I was able to print several forms from their business center. The valet service is convenient, but it does take some time to get them to bring your car up, if it gets busy.

I first need to mention that all parking is valet for a fee. They may let you park for free and the neighboring hotel if you're visiting for the day but I'm not sure if this is always the case. Ok. Back to the restaurant part. We chose to sit outside since it's basically beachside. The menu is your basic hotel beach menu with appetizers, handheld sandwiches, various protein bowls etc. Drinks are served in plastic disposable cups. Happy hour starts at noon and the crowd can get lively pretty quick. I opted to order the Wagyu beef sliders with a side of fruit. Everything came pretty quick and hot. The sliders were delicious. The fruit could have been more ripe but it was still good. All in all it was a good meal and even better spot to catch up with my friend.

My husband's slider was pretty good though and since it was the daily special, it came with fries. It was also a reasonable price which made it even better. Plastic chairs are not our thing but the area around the fire looked nice. The drinks were inconsistent, one looked and tasted good, the second one had no garnish and tasted like they also forgot the alcohol. I doubt we'll go back.

Was told that they couldn't do sliders because the Portions for the $9 happy hour apps are 1/2 portions to the regular $18 apps!! We had the nachos and then the flat bread which were good. Our bill total at that time was about $50. When we realized the Groupon amount balance would be lost I ordered the 12 ounce ribeye ($36) and the appetizer wings ($9) to go. When we got home I saw that the 12 ounce ribeye looked small so I weighed it. It weighed 6.8 ounces!! The 5 wings were the smallest wings I have ever seen. I took the steak and wings back the next day. First I was told that since it was. Groupon there wasn't anything they could do. After I was complaining that their advertising that the ribeye was 12 ounces and mine weighed 6.8 ounces the manager said they would prepare another steak for me. The steak was good but only weighed 9 ounces. When I questioned the wing sizes the manager said she realized that they were and she had been trying to change that. Not a good experience. View was nice The 1/2 portion of appetizers and the deceptive ribeye weight are not going to bring repeat customers.

You have very friendly group that was sincere at welcoming us...Heard it from the initial phone call I made to check if reservations were needed to the moment Dave held the door open as we left because I assisted my father and had to hold him. Appreciate that. Now for the food. Simply worth the wait! We started with the abundant Hot Mezza Combination to offer my parents a variety since this was their first time to try the cuisine. Dad enjoyed it, mom love it, esp the baba ghanouj...we all did. All on the platter was perfect, esp the falafel, the light tender mixture was beautifully seasoned with the fresh green herbs (thinking parsley, dill?, mint AND the kibbeh. Enjoyed our entrees, Ouzi (described like beef wellington), 2 skewers of lamb, 2 skewers of beef) no room for dessert. The skewers were so tender and seasoned perfectly...rice & veggie were also perfect. What a great place to have celebrated my parent's 61st Anniversary! Just a small suggestion, to review your pricing, to get more people in the door. You have a beautiful place, incredibly amazing cuisine, and excellent team of servers, etc. Will be back, always

Location - This hotel is located on a long strip of white, sandy beach between Cocoa Beach and Vero Beach. We loved that the resort sat right on the beach with rooms facing the ocean which allowed for breathtaking views of the Atlantic. Plenty of shopping and food choices are just up the road from this hotel and the Cocoa Beach area is not too far to the north if you are looking to do anything in that area. Rooms & Building - Rooms are all suites and are spacious. They reminded me of what you would find normally at an Embassy Suites. Each room offered a balcony that faced the ocean and the beach. The style and theme was modern nautical which fit the surrounding area. The room had a fridge and microwave and two bedrooms. The bathroom had a spacious rainfall shower. Amenities - The hotel has an outdoor pool & hot tub and large sun deck with multiple loungers. The pool was heated to a enjoyable temp and the hot tub had good jets. Access to the beach is just a short walk from the sun deck. You can purchase an umbrella and two chairs for $40 a day. Food - Like every Doubletree location, warm cookies are always available whenever you want. We were staying here during Valentine's Day and they offered a fun and creative date night menu. Food was good but it was a tad pricey. There was a pool bar that offered drinks and food. We liked the bucket drinks - great price and strong. Vibe - Easy going beach vibe from staff and customers. No complaints. Reality vs. Online - Pictures that I saw on their website and online matched the quality and condition of the hotel and rooms in-person. No surprises. Price & Final Verdict - This choice offers a great beach-centered hotel yet it is close enough for shopping, nightlife and food. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, so whether you are looking for a relaxing balcony or a sandy spot on the beach, this location offers a great choice for everyone.

Everything was great. We had a 7th floor balcony, with a king sized bed and a living room with a mini fridge and coffee maker. The views were breathtaking. Every room faces the ocean. The front door opened to a view of Indian river, So we got to see the sun set at our front door and the sun rise from our balcony. We even were lucky enough to catch a launch. Other than just steps away from the beach , they also have a pretty good size pool , hot tub and a tiki bar. I recommend bringing a couple of chairs for the beach, and save yourself a few bucks for chair rental. They also have a restaurant on the first floor. Breakfast is not included , even if you are a Hilton member. I was a little disappointed about that. But we did grab a burger and chicken sandwich , which were pretty good. Only a 2 hour drive from my front door, we will definitely look to book another room, the next Melbourne vacation we plan. Plenty of restaurants and things to do close by, including the Brevard Zoo, and a Indian River boat tour.

Specifically for "The Bistro"…read more Apologies for the lengthy post in advance. We checked in today and noticed that The Bistro was listed as being open until 10:00 PM. Around 8:40 PM, I went downstairs to ask about laundry services and dinner options. I want to note that the front desk staff was excellent -- very kind, professional, and informative. Unfortunately, my experience at The Bistro was very different. When I approached the bar area to place a to-go order for my room, the bartender, Nikkii, responded by saying, "I guess, but people don't normally do dinner this late," while giving me a very uncomfortable look. Considering the restaurant was still open for another hour and a half, I found that comment inappropriate and unprofessional. I then asked if the restaurant's hours had changed from the posted 10:00 PM closing time, but instead of clarifying, she simply stated that I could not order soup because it is prepped in the morning. While I completely understand certain menu limitations later in the evening, the overall interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. As someone who also works in the service industry as a bartender, I understand that late-night orders can sometimes be frustrating, but it is still important to treat guests with courtesy and professionalism during operating hours. After placing my order, I realized that Nikkii herself would be preparing the food, which honestly made me uncomfortable given the attitude displayed throughout the interaction. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because the front desk staff set a wonderful tone for the stay, and it was disappointing for the dining experience to feel so unnecessarily negative. A little more patience and kindness toward guests would go a long way.
