Her energy and skill set the tone for a great evening. The hostesses were also wonderful. When there was a bit of confusion with our order, they stepped in quickly, kindly, and made sure everything was handled. Their teamwork and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. My only recommendation: with the number of guests you're bringing in, please get more staff on board. You have some incredibly hard‑working people, and I'd hate to see them burned out. Everyone should be helping bus, clear, and support each other -- it makes a huge difference in service flow. Then there is Bri in valet, who stands out like a shining star. She has been helping me all week, getting the vehicle ready for my Hospice Service K9s in training. Her kindness, consistency, and professionalism are exceptional. Great job, Bri -- you made my stay easier every single day. The front desk staff has been sociable, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. I appreciate that more than I can say -- it's not the same standard up and down the beach at other venues. A few suggestions for improvement: * Elevators: One elevator has been shaking noticeably, and another was stuck/not working. With the inspection due August 1st, I strongly recommend getting someone in to address this. Safety and comfort matter. * Staffing: As mentioned, increasing staff coverage would help maintain the high standard your team is clearly striving for. * A hot tub: This would be a fantastic addition and elevate the guest experience even further. I was in town for work and my client recommended this hotel for our stay. When making the reservation, I selected "any room", but ended up being assigned a beachfront corner suite with a fabulous wrap around balcony. The housekeepers were constantly on top of things. The front desk staff were helpful and professional. The shuttle driver was helpful and informative. The valet staff never stopped moving and were just the kindest folks. And the manager, brian, gave some great restaurant recommendations. The gym, on the first floor, near the pool, wasn't the biggest, but it had everything I needed and seemed fairly new! Loved it. The restaurant is a little pricier than I'd like, but there's the shop in the corner as well as a Starbucks for other options as well as DoorDash, Uber Eats, and InstaCart. Plenty of nice places to sit and work or wait for folks. Nice and dark out back for the turtles (and the stars!), and the live music was an excellent addition. The sunrise views were unmatched. Beach access and a rinsing station. The only complaint I made was the WiFi was a little slow for working and the power outlet at the desk in my room didn't seem to be working (I reported it on checkout, and they thanked me profusely and sent maintenance up, I didn't report it sooner because there were numerous locations where I could work in this room, so it didn't impact my stay). I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming into town, and thanked our client rep who had recommended it to us. This was like the best week of work travel I've ever had. read more

This oceanfront hotel was our favorite IHG stay over the past 13 months. We were upgraded to a King Ocean View with Balcony, and lemme tell ya, it's pretty wonderful being 7 floors up watching the surf with the ocean breeze blowing through your peach fuzz while the briney lullaby takes you away faster than you can say Calgon. The Starbucks/Gelato shop is a great touch, and the in-house restaurant, Longboards, was a delightful place to grab breakfast and lunch. Bonus, if you have IHG Food &. Beverage rewards, you can stack them to pay when you check out, if you charge the meals and drinks to your room. The elevators were fast, and I was able to print several forms from their business center. The valet service is convenient, but it does take some time to get them to bring your car up, if it gets busy. read more

I recently met up with a friend who was staying here. We planned a lunch date at the onsite restaurant which offers indoor and outdoor seating. I first need to mention that all parking is valet for a fee. They may let you park for free and the neighboring hotel if you're visiting for the day but I'm not sure if this is always the case. Ok. Back to the restaurant part. We chose to sit outside since it's basically beachside. The menu is your basic hotel beach menu with appetizers, handheld sandwiches, various protein bowls etc. Drinks are served in plastic disposable cups. Happy hour starts at noon and the crowd can get lively pretty quick. I opted to order the Wagyu beef sliders with a side of fruit. Everything came pretty quick and hot. The sliders were delicious. The fruit could have been more ripe but it was still good. All in all it was a good meal and even better spot to catch up with my friend. read more

I had a reservation and Check-in was easy. Staff was super nice. I got the oceanfront king room with the balcony. I was on the third floor. I think it's smart that they have the dehumidifier in the bathroom with FL being in such a humid place. I definitely used the dehumidifier whenever I showered. They provided pool towels, not very big, but an abundant amount. Somethings seemed updated and some areas were dated. The touch up paint in some areas of my room was clearly sloppy and visible cover ups. I wasn't a fan of having to rent the beach chairs if you want to use them on the beach. They were $40 a day (8-5pm) for two chairs with an umbrella. Or $30 a day for one with an umbrella (plus tax) Shower pressure in my room wasn't that great. Flushing of the toilet was slow and I often had to go back and jiggle the handle to stop the water from running. They have valet or self parking, both were an additional $20 a night. I chose the valet and they give you a number to text your code when you're ready to get your car. Front desk staff was very subpar in terms of welcoming guests. We heard other people complain next to us... Not a good start. So let me start the nightmare the front door was broken. Couldn't bliss or open it... that required drilling and hammering for 20min without fixing it all the way... The maintenance guy felt bad gave us a breakfast voucher. Next, Shower didn't drain either with very poor water pressure and absolutely no place to store ANY toiletries or towels - Bed frame was broke on one side so your head was lower than your legs.... Room was supposed to be an ocean front.... Absolutely NOT room #174 has zero view what so ever at the exception of a huge gazebo where the band played till 10 pm about 10 feet away from our window just imagine how loud it got. FYI there is only 1 room in the ground floor that has an ocean view all others have an obstructed view because of the very dense vegetation. Ours was the absolute worst. So totally unacceptable at all levels. Only After my husband went down and stated clearly that we were NOT staying in that room we were moved after being told at check in the hotel was full and no other rooms were available.... read more

Spent this past weekend at the hotel for somewhat of a stay cation. I arrived early (10am) for check-in and the front staff was very pleasant. They offered me an upgraded room with a balcony and would text me as soon as it was ready. I left our luggage with the front desk and off to the beach we went. There was a 3rd party rental service on the beach that provided chairs, umbrella, and small table setups for $40 for the day. They accept cash or card. We enjoyed the day catching rays and listening to the ocean. After, we gathered our luggage from the front counter and checked in our room. Our room was extremely clean and had plenty of towels stocked. The balcony was a nice addition and we could see the pool and the ocean. The only thing would be that the water pressure was low in the shower. This hotel has a restaurant, bar, ballrooms to hold parties, Starbucks, Gelato, a pool, direct beach access, valet parking ($8 for day, $20 for overnight), and friendly staff. We had a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Melbourne Oceanfront! This is a beautiful property, right on the ocean. The view from our balcony room was spectacular and serene - couldn't ask for better! We used Resortpass.com to book a day room here. So I had a standard king room and use of all amenities from 9am to 6pm for 132$. The hotel is lovely not too fancy but nice enough and very clean. Our room was on the ground level right outside the pool which was perfect as it was hot hot hot today. The pool was very clean and just a short distance to the beach . You are able to rent chairs and umbrellas kayaks boogie boards and such. There is an outdoor bar and grill fully covered from sun and great views of the beach and ocean. Food was good nothing special but good. All the staff we came in contact with were very pleasant and very helpful. Overall good experience and these new day passes are great for testing the waters on hotels and getting away for a relaxing day. read more

My partner and I recently stayed here this past weekend to attend a wedding at this location. Crowne Plaza Hotel is an amazing property situated right on the Atlantic. The rooms were spacious, clean, modern and well maintained. The views from the room were spectacular of the ocean and the pool we had. There were a couple of on-site establishments - Longboards Oceanfront Grille (bar/restaurant) as well as gelato and a Starbucks. Crowne Plaza is definitely a "one-stop" hotel and you don't even need to leave the property. Parking is a third party to either valet at $24 or self park at $16 per day at a lot across the street using an overpass over AIA highway and does not belong to the hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly from the first minute checked in. Price was affordable for the location, comfort, amenities and the view which we can recommend. read more

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay at The Crowne Plaza Melbourne-Oceanfront. You have direct access to the beach, we stayed on the 8th floor and we had a great beach view. It was nice waking up each morning to that beautiful view. The hotel was clean, very comfortable bed and friendly staff. Two days during our stay we went to Longboards Ocean Front Grille. It's a restaurant located adjacent to the hotel. We just went for appetizers and drinks. I must say We had the best server- Raiza. She provided outstanding service. We recently spent 4 nights at this hotel. The lobby was very nice and the workers we did have interaction with were all great. They have a Starbucks connected to the lobby which was very convenient! We enjoyed the pool and beach quite a few times. We bought all our own beach equipment, so we don't have any suggestions for the hotel's equipment. However the pool towels were probably the roughest towels we have ever used. The hallways were nice looking but temperature who's horrid! It felt like there was no AC used in the hallways and any coolness you did get was because it was coming out of a room. The room AC, while actually worked pretty well! We are not sure if it was just our room but upon entering our room it already had a slight musky scent to it, the floor was covered in sand (like it was never swept/vacuumed between customers), toilet was on a slant (so it felt like you were falling off every time you used it), the balcony felt dangerous (I could look down giant cracks between the floor and the railing) and the door to the balcony was so weathered it was disgusting and hurtful to touch. The last complaint, I get that this is something expected to happen when at a hotel on the water but I feel like this was so bad that it's something that should have been addressed. Would we stay here again? Most likely not, but we made it work for the few nights we were there. The really nice thing is we had an absolutely amazing view of a rocket launch! This is a very average hotel, and yet another one that I wish I had checked yelp in addition to the hotels.com reviews. The pictures on Hotels.com are somewhat accurate, but have a filter applied that makes it look much nicer and cleaner instead of a place where hope comes to die. The first room that they tried to give us (305) was soooo gross and had a view of a rooftop which one could view through windows that looked like they were in an abandoned building, not a fully packed hotel. The next room was much more acceptable, but the cleaning crew did a half-a$$ed job of cleaning as there was hair in the shower and what looks like ketchup under the ice bucket lid. God only knows what other things we didn't catch. The facility, itself, is ok. The beach is accessible from a small staircase and is clean. Renting 2 chairs and an imbrella will coat you $40 per day. Shells are definitely bountiful! The pool is a nice size, the restaurant is good, and a band plays every night. Expect loud music until 10pm. read more

Apparently the Valet can BREAK YOUR CAR WINDOW and tear up your steering wheel cover and get away with it and you're left to pay for the damages. Manager for the valet never helped at all. And after getting the claim link from the hotel manager they refuse to pay for damages. Better off doing self park because they will definitely try to sleeze their way out of any damages they make to your vehicle. (Update: The valet is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau and has a one star rating due to them scamming people in very similar situations to mine. Best bet is calling the cops so you have some kind of record or else they will say you have no proof. Make sure to record everything. Truly wish I had called the police. This Valet business is criminal.) read more

We booked a night at the Crowne in Melbourne Beach and ended up booking the next night too after checking in because we were having such a lovely time. We arrived and were greeted right away by the desk people and given our room in the main building. After we went to our room we then went down to the pool and then the beach. While on the beach we decided to book the extra night. Our first night we ate at the restaurant downstairs that wasn't too great. But we did see the Falcon X rocket from our table on the patio; which was a way cool experience. Our room was clean, but it was a tad dated. But for the price when we booked the hotel we got a pretty good deal. The room had a nice balcony that was ocean view; and gave us an excellent view of the ocean. I have read where others have had trouble parking. This did not happen to us while we were here, there was plenty of parking. Would I stay here again? Yes I would. It's a nice, but dated hotel with a great staff. read more

Great hotel overall. Priced very well and very clean. Front desk, housekeeping, and valet staff were very friendly. Rentals for chairs and umbrellas were convenient right outside the hotel. Pool was great. Only negative part was the food service at Longboards. Bartenders were good. The breakfast buffet staff was talkative to each other but not servicing people waiting at the hostess station. Then, lunch service took forever for a grouper sandwich and kids meal. Probably wouldn't eat at longboards again but would go back to the hotel. read more

This hotel is extremely dated. The bathroom is so small that you have to nearly straddle the toilet just to close the door. The TV is very small. Rooms are in serious need of upgrading! I do not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again. read more

This was our second stay, the first for our anniversary and the service, accommodations, restaurant and amenities had us excited to return for my wife's birthday. Again everything and everyone was excellent especially Marcus at the front desk and Brandon at the bar. The house keepers and maintenance crew we met in the halls were all very nice and friendly to interact with. Also they sold the parking lot next door and now you have to park across A1A. To access the lot you have to carefully cross the Highway or climb stairs to a crossover that smells of urine. I've stayed here 3 times and each time it has gotten worse. Will never stay here again. read more

We ended up not staying here. This review is for the poor customer service we received during the booking process. We reserved our stay through Booking.com, and we were aware it was nonrefundable, but we had to postpone our trip due to one of our family members needing urgent medical attention. Booking.com allowed us to send a message to the property requesting that the cancellation fee be waived. They refused that request. I then called the hotel to explain the situation and they said there was nothing they could do. We would have been willing to re-book our stay for different dates, but they didn't allow that either. So now we paid $190 for nothing, and we will stay elsewhere in Melbourne when we do take our trip at a later date. read more

Absolutely nobody at this hotel restaurant or bar wants to serve you. When the waitress finally came up, she had a chip on her shoulder and a negative attitude. This was a short getaway away vacation to know area we haven't visited before, so we chose Crowne Plaza Oceanfront because of brand and experience we I've had staying with this brand and location Ocean front. I must say as in many other visit they lived up to expectation giving first rate customer service and make our stay ap safe and great experience. Our room was an oceanfront sweet on sixth floor and had a great unobstructed view of beach and ocean from it's corner wrap around balcony in which we enjoy have breakfast in morning and the occasional bottle of champaign as we looked at beautiful full moon and sound to the sound of the waves. Customer service was 5 stars all the way and heads up to the staff in bar and restaurant in providing great live entertainment in a outdoor COVID-19 safe environment. I definitely recommend this place to anyone that been locked up for six months at home and wants a nice, clean and COVID safe place to take a break. read more

I like how simple things were; quick check in, lots of parking out front and on the sides, hotel is right on the beach so it's a short walk to get there. And, the place has an upscale feel to it, with a really nice lobby and modern bar/restaurant. Our room on the top 8th floor near the front had a nice view of the ocean and beach from the balcony, but it was a bit dated inside, and small. However, the king bed was comfy, and there was a nice modern walk in shower, and huge HD TV. No safe or microwave in the room, but a mini fridge with small freezer. read more

A few spots in front hotel to park if lucky to get one then no charge (which we did). Charge $16 night to park. No vanity area by sink in bathroom to put makeup bags. My husband and I had a good experience staying here. Our room was on the 6th floor in the North building which seems to be the more current/updated building in comparison to the south building. Service : The front desk people, specifically Chuck, were very kind and welcoming when we checked in and gave us good suggestions for food and made us feel like we could definitely reach out to them if we needed anything. Marisol Restaurant: Due to the length of our stay (2 weeks) we were given a $10/day comp at Marisol Restaurant which was a great treat... we used ours for room service and got to explore much of the menu which was pretty darn good. The ranch sucks but we were into the sriracha aioli sauce. Also, the crabcake BLT was bomb. The pool : large size, which is great during this covid thing, and was decently maintained around the perimeter. The pool goes to almost 8 ft which I love! No umbrellas. The spa is closed (for obvious reasons). The tiki lounge area : beautiful view of the ocean and makes you feel like you truly are in a tropical paradise! You can order food and drinks from Marisol in this area, also. Oh, and you're allowed to being your drinks to the pool which is fun (plastic cups). Laundry room : 2 washers/2 dryers... all paid for with a credit card machine that also does android and apple pay which was awesome. You can get detergent and dryer sheets at the from desk... no fabric softener. Starbuck & gelato ice-cream parlor by pool entrance Rooms: recently updated, wood floors, bed more on the firm side but still really comfy, good AC (goes down to 68°), balcony has 2 chairs and a table, long desk, tiny fridge, USB ports at night stands, 4 outlets on desk top, tiny tiny bottles of shampoo/conditioner ||| oh, and you gotta schedule housekeeping a day in advance due to covid. We had a stay here at this hotel. Great location right on the beach. Our room had a nice view of the pool and a bit of the ocean. The public areas were very clean and the staff was constantly cleaning up. The building is older and showing signs of wear and tear. We enjoyed the breakfast service and the staff were very pleasant. We also enjoyed the Tiki bar here they had good food and nice drinks. Of course the main draw is the beach and we spent plenty of time out there. read more

Visiting from out of state we are here a few time at the tiki bar. The food and drinks were fabulous !!! The peel and eat shrimp was perfectly flavored and just the right size for a light lunch. My friend got the mail salads and said it was the best she ever had! Food quality was superb! There was a live band that played awesome music. I would have gave this a 5 but the server ignores us completely, wouldn't even look in our direction despite walking by us and sieving and taking orders from others numerous times. My daughter stayed here for a school event. She left her sneakers in the room by accident. Before leaving Melbourne at 6pm for a 3 hour ride home, she contacted the hotel to ask for her missing shoes (which have expensive insoles). She was told the lost and found room is locked at 4pm and NO ONE in the hotel has the key. The two managers who have the key are not on the premises. They would call her if they found them. I spent a week of calling and leaving messages without cooperation or response/returned calls from the managers. Why couldn't they help her mere hours after the incident and check the room before she left the city to avoid this? Now they say the shoes are not there. Poor customer service that is unhelpful.
