It's a nice space to grab drinks but the service is poor and the employees seem generally displeased that they work here. The bartender was pretty unfriendly and dry. If you want another drink you have to excessively flag the bartender, even if the place is empty. When we paid or tab we asked for a receipt which seemed like the worst thing that ever happened to them. It's one of those places where you feel bad that you are ordering things. Awesome bar set up with the bar in the middle and a band area to the left and open bar setting on the right. Staff was attentive, helpful (with samples of their vast beer selection), and working hard all night. $15 cover for a local band is a tad steep, but doable. Beer and liquor selection covers all the taste buds for sure. One thing I would suggest, maybe have the bartenders focus more on the paid entry side vs open walk in side...should be some sort of perk for paying more and listening to the same music as the free side. My company uses them to host our holiday parties. I absolutely love the atmosphere there. Everyone has always been so friendly. We usually have our food catered from another place for our parties so I can't really rate on their menu. I can tell you it's always been very fun. I went meet a friend I haven't seen in very long time. I guess I could have pick a quieter place. I found a table away from the noise. We ordered wings . The waitress was very attentive. But when we ordered the wings they were fried we had ordered roasted wings. Waitress took the wings back and apologized. . She came back with more wings and they were fried also. And dried out. We walked there from the hotel on a Saturday night because it looked like a fun place. The waiting staff was very friendly but the exterior was a little run down and there was no food served there. The beers were a descent selection but we were charged $9 for a 5% ABV beer and they put a 6% beer in a 12oz tulip glass and charged $8. Little steep for those types of beer. read more

Service was great! Our bar tender look like Ross Geller from Friends! He even sounds like him, had the same hair and award stance on everything that he did. Other patrons agreed. Service was really good! They were very attentive and interactive. They allowed me a sample of a milk stout. I am really happy I didn't get stuck with a glass of that. Lol! The inside looks wonderful. Right as we walked in we notice the door was pretty large and that stood out. Inside they have awesome fake concrete tree in the middle of the place. Tree's running up the bar area and around the bathroom door. It's really nice looking. Even the old style light bulbs in what appears to be a home made fixture. It had a modern feel with decor that dates back to the original post office Era of the building. Huge selection! Beer, cider, on tab beers and cider. Great news!! They just got a liquor license! Full bar dude!! We really like how the bar is tucked away in a corner away from the main strip. I think that kept them from getting to busy as they were not crowed what so ever. Super cool bar right in the heart of the historic district of Downtown Melbourne offering a huge beer list with a full bar. The vibe is more laidback but they know how to have fun too. The music is great and the dim lighting suits the open rustic space perfectly. It's the perfect spot to grab a drink before or after dinner. I sat at the bar and was attended very quickly by Lia (not sure on the spelling) and was able to chill out and pick a dinner spot in peace with a drink in my hand. This strip has plenty of cool bars and restaurants but this one sticks out in a good way. I love the setup and I'd gladly recommend it to those searching for a solid groovy bar in the area that serves a ton of great craft beer. The bar tenders are all cool, and I like the bar atmosphere. It's not right on the main strip but a short jaunt over. I thought the prices were a little on the high side, I might be showing my age but $7.50 for a Jim Beam and Coke; there are bars that just jacked up that same drink to $5.50 but not $7.50, I can be cheap I guess...maybe.. Room was not noise proof, we could hear the bar crowd noise, the comedian was so bothered that he left the stage to shut a door. They had black cherry, mimosa, pumkin, & jack fruit ciders tasty! Cons: -- They don't have a beer menu describing the beers they offer (or price or ABV) like most places who offer a lot of interesting beers. There is just a large chalkboard to order from that looks cool, but you'll have to ask your server for descriptions, or google. So if you're like me and love to try new beers but don't know them all by name, you might want to do a little research ahead of time. -- The three of us sat with empty beers for longer than necessary, especially for an empty tavern. The bartender looked our way and I tried to get her attention, but she looked away and continued to talk to the regulars at the bar. I started to get up and just order from the bar about the time one of the owners (I think) came over to take care of us. So, check it out if you like craft beer, but research ahead of time and don't expect great service. The bar tenders are always nice and friendly, great with giving recommendations on their personal favorite brews from the wide selection they offer! Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because they don't offer any sort of food/appetizers/snacks. If you're hungry, they encourage you to have something delivered from one of the nearby restaurants. Which is a cool option but they used to have chips&salsa and some other finger foods that were sooo good! If they would bring those back this place would be golden. The price of your drinks depends on how much your bartender likes you. Believe that. I order the same drink all the time, and sometimes it's $8, sometimes it's $10, and other times it's more. All my friends walk by and check the bartender, and if it's one we know, we come by. If it's someone we don't know, we keep walking. Sooner rather than later we'll just keep on walking no matter what. This spot used to be the Melbourne Bar. There's nothing Melbourne about it now. read more

The staff is hit or miss on friendliness. We had 2 bartenders, the first bartender treated us as if she was annoyed by us and the second bartender was friendly and took the time to answer our questions. At the end of the night when we asked for the check we had a little bit of sticker shock by the bill. We enjoy and will pay for good craft beer but wasn't expecting to pay $13 for 1 beer. It would've been nice to be given a beer menu with pricing. We've been to our fair share of good craft beer spots around the country and to pay those prices with the unfriendly service left a bad taste in our mouths. We probably won't be back. read more
