A few places were a bit more reasonable, but they needed several days to make the repair. I kept making some calls and found FIXR. They were half the cost of the Apple repair and were able to do it in a day. When I brought the watch in, the FIXR guy was very friendly and accommodating. The battery life, at full charge, was 68%. I was looking for a miracle. I drive for a living and my phone is my lifeline for my job. I walk in and immediately was welcomed and I explained my dilemma. The owner (Saleim, sorry if I misspelled it) was so understanding of my situation and knew exactly what to do to fix it. In about 1/2 hour he had everything fixed except the power port. He explained the issue and that he didn't have that exact part in this store but he had another store just 3 miles down the road and could fix it immediately there. I was able to pay for everything at this location (which was great) and headed to the other store. Within 1 1/2 I had a brand new phone! This establishment may look like a 'hole in the wall' but those, in my experience, are the best! Highly recommend this place to everyone I know!
