Nothing to be picky about this venue! Min charge of $20 is fairly reasonable w/this high end spot. The lot is low key yet big enough to relax and to be comfortable. Wine selection a limited yet quite nice. Salmon Creek-Pinot Grigio is rather dry n crispy. Red Blend from Opolo is very nicely balanced out in fruity flavor and strong as how I like it. 5-man band playing live Jazz is a high class level treat! This is a very nice wine bar and gift shop, with live entertainment and dancing on Friday and Saturday nights. You will feel right at home, you can come alone or with family (21+ yrs old) and friends. There are barstools, high top pub tables, regular tables for groups of 4 or more and sofas along the windows facing Citrus Avenue. Other events I have attended are with the Chamber of Commerce, birthday celebrations, fundraisers and even Bunco games or Trivia night during the week (Wednesdays). Azo was named "BUSINESS OF THE YEAR 2024" by the Chamber of Commerce. Representatives from various wineries offer flight samples of the wines on Thursday and usually a discount if you buy bottles to go. Very spacious inside, with great selection of wine. The owner was very friendly and gave us a great customer service. The Wine Bar had plenty of seats and tables, with live music. It also had small stores that sells cute wine accessories. The only food selection, only Colombus Party Platter Charcuterie Board where it was also sold in Target, Vons, etc. We were just glad that we could pair our wines with snacks. We tasted the Cabernet wine tasting, which was not in the menu. Overall, it was a great ambiance, great wine, and comfortable seating experience. It was a great place to bring your date as well. We didn't want to be home on a Saturday night. We heard this band, 'Soundbytes', was really good, so we climbed out of our 'onsies' and went to see them play at Azo Vino Wine Bar. We were not disappointed. They played a variety of songs that kept the dance floor busy. They were very good! The service at the bar is great! They have a great wine selection, and surprisingly, a great selection of beer, bottled, and draft. They don't serve food, but they allow you to bring in your own. I felt the drink prices were reasonable compared to restaurant prices. When this band plays, I recommend reservations or get there early, like we did, and they showed us to an available table. There are also sofas with tables you can sit at if a barstool isn't your choice for sitting. We are also checking out their other events that they host. We definitely will be back. read more

Azo Vino is a wine bar with a lot of potential. The staff is very friendly and the live music was top notch! However, the wine selection was minimal, especially for a "wine bar." The building is big, I think maybe too big! The counters were cluttered with too much trinkets and behind the bar area were papers and stuff that shouldn't be visible to customers. In the bathroom, a plunger and toilet brush was in a very not non-conspicuous place. It reminded me of a place perfect for bar rescue. read more

We held my sister's memorial reception at Azo Vino Wine Bar last week and everything was perfect. Great wines, service and atmosphere. We ordered food from Old World Deli a couple of doors down and they delivered a nice spread for our guests so no pressure on us other than to bring table cloths, plates and utensils. I had come here as a Christmas party celebration. The ambiance upon arrival is super inviting. The low lighting and dim music allows for conversation to flow easily between people. Our boss/owner had already made the wine selection so when the party came around, we had a preset list. At the bottom of the list, there was a wine called "Sweet Wine". I prefer dessert wines, so I ordered that. It was delicious. It paired well with the food that was provided. I enjoyed it so much that I had emailed the owner of the establishment to ask what the name of the wine was. The owner was super nice and knowledgeable of the wines in his store, and probably more. I stopped by and told him my name and he had the bottle ready for me. He even wrapped it for me, which I was not expecting. He offered if I ever needed a case, I can contact him. This was our first visit to Azo VINO's new location and we loved it. It wasn't too crowded last night and the owner, Galen, was very hospitable/generous to all of the guests and very knowledgeable about his wines, offering suggestions for the novice. He has a great selection of wines, sparkling wines, beers (on tap and bottle), margaritas and vodka "cocktails", and non-alcoholic offerings for anyone's palate. We stopped in for a night cap so I tried a couple of the sweet dessert wines, a Taylor Fladgate Port and an awesome Tannat dessert wine, with not-so-subtle hints of chocolate. My wife tried the Trapiche Malbec, which was delicious. Drink prices are very reasonable. There's also a "gift shop" area where you can find plenty of wine-related paraphernalia. This is a fun place with several TVs to catch the latest ball game and lots of cool artwork. There's bar seating, tall tables, and several sofa areas with plenty of room to stretch out for big groups or small. Galen let us know that he tries to have live music on Friday and Saturday evenings (2 drink minimum when live entertainment). Plenty of on-street parking and a private lot. We really enjoyed it and I think it's definitely worth a visit...I know we'll be back! read more

My friend invited me to their Steak night which is hosted once a month on Thursday nights. I enjoy trying new venues and let me tell you this place doesn't disappoint. The premium Ribeye was so tender and seasoned excellently. Being a Rookie to the reds I decided to try the tasting (total of 5) The Crimson was my favorite. We got some desserts from Old World deli to pair with the final tastings, very delicious!! The owner Galen friendly and a pleasure to chat with gave us some insight on the wines and how climate and terrain take affect on the grapes for wine flavoring. Best kept secret in the SGV! Gailynn, the owner is awesome, they have an excellent wine selection, great rotating beers on tap, great bands on weekends and the magic show is AMAZING FUN!!! It is a must see on the 3rd Thursday of the month. I think Wednesday is 2 for 1 drinks and you can bring your own food as well since they don't serve any food. We've ordered pizza, brought in impenadas or just made some sandwiches or tacos at home. They do have occasional food vendors such as crepes (which were fantastic) as well as tacos and bbq. The wine choices on the menu were varied and pretty good- if you're looking for something interesting and a little different than what's on every other menu.
