For more than twelve years, our group has gathered at the Third Street Wine Shop every Wednesday…read morenight. We were first introduced to one another by the previous owners, Mary and Jim, during one of their events--little did we know those introductions would grow into lifelong friendships. Over the years, our Wednesday Wine Nights became a tradition we all cherished. When we learned that the shop was going up for sale, we were understandably nervous. We wondered what would happen if it didn't sell--where would we go? And if it did sell, what if the new owners changed the shop in ways we didn't love? What if we didn't connect with them the way we had with Mary and Jim, who had become family to us? Then it happened, the shop sold. We were introduced to Maria and Veronica, and it was truly love at first meeting. They are two of the kindest, most welcoming women, and they have brought fresh ideas and wonderful energy to the shop. Our Wednesday Wine Nights continue today, and we are grateful to have gained new friends in Maria, Veronica, and their families, who help run this warm, family-operated business. The Third Street Wine Shop remains a place where you are welcomed the moment you walk in--where the owners make you feel like you're their only guests. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a tasting, a glass, or a bottle of exceptional wine, paired with one of their beautiful charcuterie boards or other delicious snacks. I started off at the Ceramic Museum just 10 minutes away highly recommend it. I arrived soon after opening since one thing closed at 5 and the other opened at 5 so ideal timing for my adventure. I arrived in ideal time to be seated outside right under the porch and mind you I arrived right before a rush of groups began to arrive after me. While I was alone I didn't feel lonely as the staff was so friendly and continued to check on me. They got busy but still catered to me as I went through my wine tasting. I ordered a season tasting and it was a perfect tasting for a fresh winter night it was not too cold and not too hot just perfect Cali weather for an evening under a porch. I also ordered a mini charcuterie board for myself and it was so perfectly delicious. I never say perfect so many times in one review I wish I could give it more an extra star. It was a lovely evening in a lovely part of town and I would highly recommend going. I went on a Friday. Parking was plentiful when I went. It was lovely to support a local business.

Unfortunately, the employee arrived late for her shift, so nothing was ready when we went in. Her personality also wasn't great, you could tell she had either just woken up or had a long night. It started getting busier after we left. We were there for a little over an hour. The tastings were good, but very single-noted. They definitely limit the tasting options compared to the large selection of wines they actually have. That said, the restaurant itself looked nice and clean, and the glasses were sturdy and easy to swirl in. I think this place could make for a good night out, so I'm hoping we just caught them on a bad day.

There's a bookstore, a thrift shop with some unique vintage finds, and a relaxed, walkable vibe that makes it easy to spend an afternoon here. Whether you're shopping, grabbing a bite, or just enjoying the scene, it has a little something for everyone. A fun and eclectic place -- definitely worth a stop if you're in Claremont!

They have a Pickle Pizza (don't knock it 'til you try it) that is just out of this world! I honestly haven't had anything bad there. They also have a decent selection of beers to choose from, in case wine isn't your thing. There is both indoor and outdoor seating for whatever your preference is. The patio is well-covered, so if anyone is trying to stay out of the sun, they've thought of that. Kelly took care of my friend and I, as we decided to go to Claremont instead of braving the crowds at The Upland Lemon Festival this past Sunday. Kelly was an absolute ray of sunshine and took great care of us. We spent a good amount of the afternoon chilling on their patio sipping on Sangiovese, and snacking on the Corn & Tortilla Dip, as well as the Pork Belly appetizer. All were wonderful! NOTE: For the next month or two, their menu will be slightly limited, as they are renovating their kitchen. There's still PLENTY of great stuff to choose from and enjoy, though.

A month later …read more... Officially a regular at Grafted Cellars. Obsessed with every edible item on their menu so I'm here on a weekly basis. Omar the bartender is still as wonderful as Day One. I was finally able to figure out his last name. (It wasn't given out willingly and he made me guess after dropping a single hint). Will be on my way to collect my free bottle of wine for the month of June. Grafted Cellars is such a lovely place. I've met new friends as well as reunited with old ones. So glad I've found a place to be able to call "my hangout".

I came here because I saw that a barbecue place that I've been trying to check out was setting up for the day. I went inside the main store area to get a glass of wine. The folks in there were the friendliest ever! I can't exactly remember which one I got, but it was red, lol. Also, I'm not sure if they make their own wine and ship it to this location or if they just do third-party vineyards. The whole wine system and business is kinda foreign to me, but I'm sure they have nice bottles here. I took it to the back area where there was a live band playing, and I wanted to enjoy my wine with Teh barbecue that I was going to order. All in all just a gem of a place that's kinda and the industrial area of Ontario.

Stopped in to pick up our annual bottle of 2024 Triple Cream Sherry. Matthew, the family's next…read moregeneration winemaker, poured for us their new Viognier and the Petite Sirah, both with fruit sourced from Lodi, CA vineyards. They made a nice effort for their first try at wines other than their Sherry, which they excel in. We mentioned that we have a 1992 Triple Cream Sherry and wondered how they were drinking now, should we open now or can it still sit, etc. Since they had one open in the back, they poured us a little bit and it was still fantastic! They also got to try different types of mint leaves, other fruits like loquats, kumquats, Australian finger limes, licorice, zucchini flowers, strawberries, fennel flowers. We also got to see some beautiful artichoke flowers. The staff there are really good with kids and taught them so much about plants and animals they have at the farm.
