dineLA Menu on our 8/17/26 visit.

dineLA menu $55/person (All guests at the table must participate) First visit to Rosalie and had a good experience. Indoor and patio seating are available. Parking is either on the street or in a large public lot next door. DRINKS: Full bar with fresh cocktails and the classics, as well as a decent wine list. Non-alcoholic selections available too. We ordered an Orange Fashioned ($16), a Fric n Frac ($15), and a Lemonade ($5). Unfortunately, they forgot my drink, but my wife's cocktail was well-made and very refreshing. FOOD: We stopped by to take advantage of their dineLA menu (see photos). Rosie waited on us and the service was very good. The prix-fixe menu included a Focaccia, house cultured butter (amazing!), and pickled pepper plate. A choice of starters, a choice of pastas, and Tiramisu for dessert. Rosie and the kitchen did a fantastic job of timing out the courses, and everything had fresh ingredients and was very flavorful. Overall, it was a good first experience. I'm sure we'll be back for more.

Missing Italia so I craved for Italian food and thought to check out this place. Here on a Friday night, busy, they take reservations but came as a walk-in. Parking is ample but it could get challenging to find a spot on a Friday night. The place is moderately loud of conversations with music humming in the background. This place is Sicilian-inspired which is piqued my interest. Tired their aperol spritz, a bit heavy on the sweet side 6/10. We sat at the bar, waited for a 15-20 min for someone to finally take our order. The focaccia came with picked bell pepper dip and butter; the bread is so good, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside which complimented the dip so 10/10! We waited for another 30 min for our food to arrive after the focaccia was served. Entrees ordered as follows: 1. Spaghetti & Meatballs: pasta is al dente, the meatballs size is almost a size of my fist! It has a very unique taste, smoky and evenly seasoned, and spice builds up as you chew along. chefs kiss 10/10 2. Torchetti: enjoyable taste, very interesting, the ricotta cheese with fried rosemary on top are the perfect combo, it was a palatable feast 9/10 We did not have a server ask us what else we needed after we got our food or in between which was a let down.

    All the tasty stuff

I'm thrilled Rosalie is here! Happy to have a charming restaurant in the SGV and not have to travel to LA for such delicious food. The staff were all warm & seemed happy to be there, that's a huge bonus in my book. We were a group of 5 women who ordered a variety of plates, drinks and never felt rushed. A list of what we ordered; focaccia, mushrooms (yum!), English peas (amazing!), Bucatani, rigatoni (yum!), torchetti, NY steak (8/10), Il Pepe and lemon ricotta cake (yum!). I've already told several people about Rosalie and can't wait to return. We sat inside but they also have a quaint patio area with fire pits.

My friend and I came here for DineLA and I'm so glad we did. I haven't been back since this restaurant used to be Giovanni's. We ordered a little of everything. The focaccia bread and butter, the pesto pasta and the broccolini were my favorite. Everything tasted delicious and made with love. They have a nice wine selection as well. I love the decor inside. The lighting was perfect. The exterior is super cute. I love coming to little gems like Rosalie.

    Charred Octopus - IG @bougiefoodieboi

This is a northern Italian restaurant with a bit of Asian fusion to it. Located in Covina, there is plenty of free parking nearby less than a few minutes walk to this restaurant. I went here on a Saturday for dinner and it was not too busy, but I made reservations just in case. We got the charred octopus, lumache, campanelle, New York steak, and a red and white wine. The octopus is pretty good - crispy in most parts and chewy in the other parts - very flavorful and further enhanced by the avocado cream. The lumache is solid but a bit high on the price tag as there wasn't much lobster to the dish. I do like the miso that is a bit light and adds a bit of Asian fusion flair to the dish. The campanelle is a little spicy, not too spicy, with fresh shrimp that is chopped into smaller pieces. This one is a bit more hearty. New York steak is good - could be a bit better with the price tag as there was a bit of fat to it that was a bit hard to cut, especially since they gave us butter knives, not steak knives, to eat. Though they gave one steak knife to share which is a bit suboptimal. Service is decent - it is good for a typical restaurant, but for a restaurant at this price point, it could be slightly improved. Water refills are present and they checked up on us a few times. However, the timing for switching plates for the entree was a bit too rushed and the server failed to give us the correct wine order, but this is slightly rememdied as they did not charge for one of the glasses of wine, so that compensated the service a bit. Otherwise, this is a pretty nice Italian spot that stands out with their focus in the northern region and presents a bit of fusion flavors, something that is a little out of the ordinary compared to a lot of Italian restaurants in the greater LA area.

Love that there's finally a good Italian restaurant in Covina! Our waitress was kind enough to let us know that there was 6 minutes left to order for happy hour. We decided to try their focaccia, pork meatballs, and broccolini. The yellow corn butter that comes with the focaccia was SOO GOOD! I'd love to learn how to make it. The meatballs were huge and perfect for sharing. I wasn't too fond of the flavor and don't think I'd order it again. Now the broccolini was charred to perfection and the flavors were refreshing. I would highly recommend that dish! For my main dish I went with the torchetti sans pepperoncini. The torchetti was delicious. The pasta was al dente and the burrata with the pork ragu was a nice balance. The serving was generous and I had enough for the next day. I was hoping to try their pizza but the server let us know it was sold out for the day. Overall the ambiance was casual and the server was nice. I would definitely bring my family to try this spot.

Delicious cozy restaurant in Covina! Started with the charred octopus & broccolini. Delicious sauce on the octopus and perfect texture. The broccolini had the best pesto sauce as well. Spaghetti with meatballs on the side. Best spaghetti I have ever tasted in my life. Cacio W Pepe. So so good! Lobster pasta-- good. Pizza with pepperoni -- good! 4 layer chocolate cake so good with vanilla ice cream for our bday girl. Service was phenomenal.

I had a lovely, delicious experience at Rosalie (Covina). I ordered the Spaghetti & Meatballs ($34). It's pork meatballs, amatriciana sauce, fresh pasta, and focaccia bread. DELICIOUS!!And it's A LOT of food! I arrived at Rosalie (Covina) on Sunday (around 5PM). I had used their website to make a 5PM Reservation that same day. The online process felt easy. There's also plentiful parking. Rosalie (Covina) is located near Covina City Hall, the shared parking lot is very big. Staff is professional. They commonly use the phrase "My Pleasure," but Staff felt the most forgettable of the experience. Staff moved quickly, but Staff faded from mind like the wind. My entree arrived within 11 minutes and 22 seconds. Great pace! As mentioned, I ordered the Spaghetti & Meatballs ($34). I wholeheartedly recommend!! This dish felt special and thoughtfully crafted. The HUGE, dense pork meatballs were larger than baseballs, yet they're juicy, smokey, and thick. The pasta is soft and freshly made, and dish felt hearty yet fragrant. I had PLENTY of leftovers. In addition, I ordered the Foccacia starter ($14). It's DELIGHTFUL! This bread is so fluffy, and the house cultured butter is so satisfying. Regarding ambiance, Rosalie (Covina) is clean, minimalistic, and comfortable. I appreciated the romantic, slow-tempo music. There's a dining patio and a small interior. Overall, I had a lovely experience at Rosalie (Covina). The food is memorable & delicious. And I left with a bright smile. If you love fresh, quality Italian food, I happily recommend. 4.8 out of 5

This place is an example of what a restaurant should be. The servers are wonderful, the food is of quality and the esthetics are cozy and warm. The food is Italian with a sprinkle of covinas latin touch. A local gem. I came here on a overcast evening nd enjoyed their speghetti and meatballs with a cider. What sets the speghetti apart from others is a smokey bacon flavor and a tiny sprinkle of spiciness. As an appetizer I ordered the charred octupus. Again, the Mexican influences shime through with the spiced marinade and zesty sauce, grilled onions and radishes. It was delicious and the serving size are decent, so had plenty of leftovers for tomorrow's lunch. I loved that the staff will pack your food to go, and make it convient for customers. I ended with a lemon ricotta cake. The waitress was passionate about the food. I almost thought she was the owner by the way she presented the menu and food options. 100% recommend.

Stopped by here for my birthday on Wednesday night and it was amazing! Everything from the service to drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert. The place itself is super cute, their music selection is great and there is seating inside and outside. Our servers were all very attentive, we had like 3 different staff members checking on us and refilling our waters. Every small dish we had was great. The rainbow carrots and brocolini were cooked perfectly and the sauces they were in had great flavor. The gem salad was a little plain and simple but it was ok. The focaccia was so soft and the corn butter was unique but so delicious. The pastas were creamy and were cooked al dente. The star of the table was the branzino. The fish was crispy and the sauce was seasoned so well. The leeks were tender and went together so well. I cant wait to come back here and try more of their dishes! The tiramisu was light and fluffy and the sorbet was nicely sweetened.

Oh man. Having Rosalie right in my backyard is not good for my wallet. We might end up here every couple of weeks. The food is just sublime. Come during happy hour (Mondays to Thursdays) - that's what we did. We wanted to sample their fare before fully committing. The broccolini was done so well, my son who usually hates veggies couldn't get enough of it. The focaccia is dreamy - it is soft and crusty and when you tear it, makes such a beautiful sound. They offer Parmesan butter and pickled peppers along with it. The pork meatballs were a standout (but you need bread for this to mop up all that delicious sauce). The pizza was light, airy, but held up all that cheese and pepperoni so well. Alexa provided stellar service. She didn't hover but she was always available when we needed her. And she was forthright she answering our questions. She anticipated our needs so well, coming up with a bottle of water right when we needed it. All in all, this is a welcome addition to the roster of restaurants in Covina. It's a beautifully appointed space with lots of parking, delicious Northern Italian food, and top notch service. What a gem.

Once people learn Rosalie is owned by the people that runs Union in Pasadena, it automatically sets the expectation of delicious fresh pasta dishes. It's a casual, relaxed and cozy interior with an energetic atmosphere. The staff moves around at a fast pace and the crowd is lively, but not noisy. There is a smaller dining room by the entrance, a larger space through a doorway and a patio area. The menu has a few similar dishes to Union, like the meatballs and torchetti (based on my memory). We ordered a few pasta dishes and the meatballs as a starter. They're big and delicious as a starter. The lumache, bucatini and torchetti were all very good in their own way. One of richer than the other with different flavor profiles, but the pasta were all Al dente, with a nice chew. They were nicely seasoned without any one ingredient overpowering the others. The only thing I'd suggest is they put red peppers or freshly ground black pepper on the table. The service we received was excellent, as she was very courteous and attentive when time allowed. Sadly I forgot her name. There a huge parking lot next to Rosalie, but when we went for a weekend dinner, it was full. If you circle around a bit, a space might open up. Though there really isn't anything else for us to do around there, Rosalie was worth the drive to get very good Italian food. Unlike Union in Pasadena, the plentiful free parking is a big plus.

Rosalie comes from the same team behind Union, and you can absolutely feel that pedigree in both the food and the care put into every detail. A few things worth noting: - Full bar, whaaat! - Ingredients are sourced from local farmers markets. Everything tastes fresh, vibrant, and seasonal. - Everything is made from scratch, which gives the menu that soulful, honest quality that's hard to fake. - The focaccia with house-cultured butter is unreal. The bread was warm, soft, and airy, but that butter stole the show. Dangerously good. - The pork meatballs were hearty, tender and flavorful. Just like what you get at Union! - The Burrata was so creamy without being heavy, and the rigatoni was perfectly cooked, holding onto the sauce just right. Ordering was easy and paced so so well. You can feel the love and passion come through in the space and the food. What a great addition to Covina! Thanks for the incredible hospitality, Marie!

After months of planning, I was naturally nervous, but Bill made the whole process so much easier. He was incredibly accommodating, patient with all of my questions, and always willing to work with me to make sure every detail came together. Most importantly, he was true to his word. Everything we discussed beforehand was delivered exactly as promised, which gave me so much peace of mind. The staff was just as amazing. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that everyone was having a great time. They kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes so I could relax and enjoy such a special evening with my family and friends. The venue itself was beautiful, clean, and created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the space, the service, and how well everything was organized. Seeing the look on my husband's face when he walked into his surprise party is a memory I'll treasure forever, and this venue played a huge part in making that moment possible. Thank you, Bill, and your incredible team, for helping create a night our family will never forget. I would recommend this venue without hesitation and would gladly host another event here in the future.

The service was extremely slow to start--we waited a while just for water and to get drink orders taken. We ordered the Ahi tuna appetizer, which was good, but the course pacing completely fell apart after that. Our salads took 25 minutes to arrive. Before I could even get the fresh ground pepper I requested, our main courses were rushed to the table while we hadn't even started our salads. The food quality was unacceptable for an upscale restaurant: Both my wife and I ordered our steaks medium-rare. Mine arrived completely leathery, dry as a bone, and thoroughly overcooked. I didn't eat a single bite of it. My wife's steak arrived medium-well, and her side of rice was completely dry. The bottle of red wine we ordered from their very small wine list was served warm. When we declined having the steak re-fired or free dessert, we finished our wine and asked for the check. The $62 inedible steak was still on the bill, so I asked to speak with the owner. When I calmly explained the issues, the owner became angry that I didn't want the steak redone and walked away mid-conversation. He eventually came back, removed the $62 steak, and told us he didn't want us back in his restaurant. To top it off, for an establishment charging fine-dining prices where guests dress up, the owner was wearing shorts and sneakers. One chance is all a restaurant gets to make a good impression. Lincoln House missed the mark completely. We will not be returning.

The restaurant itself is really cute and has some great signs and backgrounds for pictures. We got some really nice group photos for our social media, and one of the employees even volunteered to take a picture for us so we could all be in it, which was really sweet. Even the girls' restroom was super cute and nicely decorated. You can tell they put thought into the little details throughout the place. Our waitress, Marissa, was wonderful from beginning to end. She was sweet, attentive and made sure we were taken care of throughout the night. The other employees we interacted with were also very friendly and helpful. I'm really happy our first experience here was such a good one. She delivered exceptional customer service, friendly, attentive, charismatic, and genuinely caring. She made wonderful recommendations, anticipated our needs, and made us feel truly welcomed. Molly elevated an already amazing dining experience into an unforgettable one. If you visit Ola Restobar, ask for Molly. You'll be glad you did! We can't wait to come back with family and friends.

Jorge came outside multiple times, clearly saw how many people were waiting, and even recorded the crowd on his phone three different times for social media. Knowing the capacity of the restaurant, he could have easily informed everyone that the remaining people in line would likely not get in. Instead, we waited over three hours with no communication. While we were waiting, I repeatedly watched people call Jorge. He would come outside, greet them, and bring them straight inside. I personally saw this happen at least six different times. When it was finally our turn to speak with the host, we were told there were no seats left, that we would have to stand, and that we wouldn't even be able to order food. I confronted Jorge about letting those other groups in ahead of everyone else. His response was that he knew them personally and that they were friends of the restaurant owners. That explanation only made the situation worse. My wife had just finished a 14-hour hospital shift, and we came here hoping to enjoy the game together. Instead, we spent three hours waiting only to be treated as though our time didn't matter. What was most shocking was Jorge's attitude. He literally told me, "They won't do anything to me if you post this. I'm friends with the owner." If that's the mindset of management, it's no surprise customers are treated this way. It truly felt like only friends and family received special treatment while everyone else was left waiting without honesty or respect. I have no issue waiting when things are busy, but I do expect transparency, fairness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience showed none of those qualities.
