Was in lakeport for court Tuesday and had a serious craving for a sandwich. After seeking yelp for…read morehelp, I found Jimmy's with the highest rating for Sammy's around. So naturally, we had to stop by. This place is quite interesting, they tout themselves to be a deli, but also a taqueria... AND Mediterranean food spot. The staff inside are absolutely awesome, they're helpful, patient, efficient, & had great energy and customer service... the people alone are worth going back for 4.8/5. The restaurant is decent sized, clean, and organized, though the sitting area itself has a back wall where stock is being stored, and that slightly detracted from the fact I was eating inside of an eatery and not a warehouse 3.8/5. Now, let's get into the food. My man and I decided to split a turkey and pesto sandwich and share a 4ct of dolma. We ate the Dolma first, & holy moly some of the most flavorful dolma I've had, I loved that it was served with lime, there was a very mild hint of mint and I loved that subtlety, the only critique is that the grape leaves could have had a little more bite to them, but overall I still give it a 4.75/5. When the turkey pesto came out, the bread and turkey were still hot, while all the veggies were cold and fresh, pesto tasted made in house & the bread felt and tasted fresh, like it was made right before we walked in? 4.8/5. Because the sandwich and dolma was soooooo good, we made a second order to try their Mexican BBSQ. We ordered two chicken and 2 tri-tip BBQ tacos. They're served with cilantro, onion, hot sauce, lime, and jalapeños. Both tacos were so juicy, each bite was almost dripping wet. Fresh ingredients, jalapeños were nice and spicy, and the meats were packed with flavor. Chicken taco was slightly bland in comparison to tri-tip so chicken taco is 4/5 and tri-tip taco is a 4.75/5. Overall, I rate this establishment a 4.5/5

After reading so many rave reviews on Yelp I just had to give this place a try... the family headed…read moreover for a late lunch. Even at 1:30 in the afternoon the place keeps a steady pace of patrons coming in. Everything is sold à la carte. Between the four of us we had a shawarma, a chicken gyro, a chicken taco, and Jimmy's classic with pepper jack cheese added, along with two orders of french fries. Everything was good. Service is kind of limited. You order and pay at the counter and receive a number to place on your table of you're eating in. The team delivers your food, and then you're pretty much on your own. The storefront is small, but not too cramped. There's a water station and a coffee station. If you want something else to drink you pick the bottle or can out of the fridge located near the cash register. I read in some of the other reviews here, prices are a bit on the higher side, so I was prepared. There's a good likelihood we'll be back, as I said the food was good.

The food menu was interesting and offered a nice range of comfort to finer dining options. The wine menu was extensive. Both the food and wines were reasonably priced. The spicy ahi tuna bites were delicious. Fresh and flavorful ahi on top of the perfectly crunchy sushi bites that had the right amount of "QQQ" (aka chew). This paired nicely with the Sol Rouge Viognier. It seems this place also has music nights. With or without music, the food quality is definitely worth checking out. What a surprisingly nice option to have in Lake County!

Modern open interior with high ceilings, and perimeter seating with a short bar area. We ate here twice while in town, and had reservations both times. Greeted walking in at our time and seated within the same moment. The staff are all friendly, professional and kind. Our servers both visits made us feel welcome and appreciated for dining there. A concise creative menu thats better than most in the area. We started with a couple appetizers. The Spicy Ahi Crunch bites were very good, with fresh Ahi and a slice of jalepeno on top of a crunchy puff bite. We really enjoyed them and thought it was a good start. Along with their fresh baked focaccia bread with evoo and balsamic. Both were very good starters. Next we shared the large Harvest salad with poached pear, squash, brussels, walnuts and lettuce greens. This is a big salad and was easy for us to split between the two of us. A good choice as well, great textures and flavors. For my meal I went for the Black and Gold Salmon. A hearty serving with a near perfectly cooked salmon filet on top of risotto with mushrooms. A solid choice again, full flavored and well prepared. 4 Stars a solid choice for a good meal 01180

They have used lots of decor in remembrance of the previous business, like the big saw outside and the saw lights. Quaint establishment w/ patio seating, small bar (4 seats), good amount of tables, wooden floors. Greeted immediately with a smile. Menus, utensils and water provided quickly after we sat. Our server shared the special of the day, what wasn't currently available and when asked of his favorite quickly responded with some gems. My partner knew exactly what she wanted - Pineapple Cauliflower Salad22 (Crispy Asian cauliflower, mixed greens, cabbage, carrots, peanuts, crispy rice noodles, sesame seeds, crunchy garlic, pineapple pico, green onions, and edamame with a Basil-lime vinaigrette 1/2 Cauliflower salad). I had a bite and it was very flavorful. The cauliflower looked like orange chicken. This dish is vegan btw. I was torn between the fish and chips and the Jalapeno Bacon burger. The server said it was a favorite earlier so I went with it. (Grilled Short Rib, Brisket, Chuck patty served on a toasted brioche bun with melted cheddar cheese, bacon, fried jalapenos, lettuce, tomato, and onions with our overloaded sauce). Man was this good! The burger was juicy, the thick cuts of bacon and the sauce. Everything complimented one another nicely. They make their ketchup in house throughout the week. You can tell too! It has it's own flavor that outdoes regular ketchup. The fries were crispy, lightly salted and just enough. Service was friendly. We were checked on throughout our meal to ensure the food was good and so were we. They do offer a rewards program we signed up for. This is definitely going to be a go to spot for us. Can't wait to explore the menu!

It did look appetizing, but the taste was really off. We were there during their live band night. That was a great time. It is too bad that the ahi was so rough. On the other side, one of my family members had the special pork dish (some sort of pork tenderloin) and it was bland. The dish was pretty pricey and for the $40 that is was, it could have been flavored. The fried cauliflower and garlic bread were fantastic though.
